"Perhaps I am what you could consider a god of the race right now. Even when I lack power, I will not die so easily. That is why you must choose wisely which side you will belong to, because your future may depend on it."

The man he was talking to spoke again, after listening carefully.

"If you were a god of the race, what are they, then? They have us cornered and huddled in a corner of the world while they rule most of it; you said so yourself."

Matthew stopped and turned to look at him, his eyes filled with a dangerous expression.

"Usurpers. That's what they are. So believe that whoever usurps a kingdom has the right to be king. Maybe in your kingdom, that's possible. In the human kingdom or common vampire kingdom, that's possible. If I kill the King, I'll be the King. But do you think it's like that in our kingdom? Haha. You usurp my position, and you only have an empty shell because my position cannot be usurped.

"Don't you know? I am the Heir to everything my father was. I have many titles."

"Young Master of the Dietrichs, Son of Dietrich, Heir of the Origin, Eternal of Immortality... But the one I am most proud of is a special title, which you all ignore."

"I am the Progenitor Vampire."

"I am here now. I was here 10 million years ago, and I will be here in another 10 million. The inheritance I receive is the race, my father's legacy. Be that as it may, I am your Progenitor, and I will remain so until the race is extinct. But even then, I will still be so, because I cannot start it over again? While they are only there because they were our creation. That is the difference between all of you and ."

"The passage of ti will break they usurped shell, but it cannot take away my power. I ask then, what are they? The answer is obvious."

He looked ahead again and walked to the inscription on the ground.

"I will go first. Anyone who wishes to follow is welco to do so freely. By destroying the Beckers, I will show them why nobody should betray ."

Finally, Matthew's figure disappeared when the inscription was activated.

He had teleported, leaving the room in absolute silence, where even the slightest sound, such as the drop of a needle, could be heard.

---

On the other side of the teleportation inscription, Matthew appeared in a new underground room from which he quickly erged.

He was in a slightly bustling city.

'Although the passage of ti was confused by the strangeness of the combat, it took us little more than a day to destroy the Kingdom of Richter. And although I want to go and investigate further, striking while the iron is hot is the best way to end this stupidity,' he thought, seeing that it must be noon by now.

The city was slightly bustling because everyone was going to work. Work in the current era has sohow evolved in a positive direction. In the past, it was simpler in terms of work; now, it seems more complicated, but not because it is very difficult to do. It was more difficult in the ancient era due to higher mortality rates, but in the current era, it is more complicated because it requires more advanced preparation.

That's because there are now more things; technology has evolved, and so have other areas of work.

For example, in the ancient era there were no such things as flying boats or planes as in this era or on Earth, nor were there trains or cars, much less telephones like the ones that are appearing on the market lately in this world, which ant that there was less work of that kind. Still, now, office jobs are becoming more common.

They require more preparation, which makes it more complicated, but there are fewer deaths, which makes it better.

'Although they didn't evolve at the sa rate as humans on Earth, I must say they have done remarkably well. All the evolution they have doesn't pollute or destroy the world, and they are only a complent to the vampires. Power continues and will continue to reign, because it is not just a technological world, it is a world where technology serves to benefit the powerful.'

As he walked through the city 'carelessly', he was able to admire every part of the world and its technology. The vampires walked quickly, so working, while others rushed to work, fearing they would be late.

It was a peaceful city, but a slight hint of mistrust hung in the air among those walking down the street, and a subtle sense of fear seed to emanate from the city center.

'The City of Becker is more peaceful than the Capital of the Kingdom, but fear seems to be in the air and in the ears of all the inhabitants, which instills more fear in them. And it's a curse. So it's mind control, then.' He thought.

He had nothing to say or add to this, since each ruler governed his city as he pleased. If they had a way of ruling with fear to avoid the problems of a society, and it worked for them, then it wasn't bad. That also showed that curses were more useful than even he imagined.

'They have evolved them in a good way and have discovered new ways of using them. As expected with the passage of ti. I wonder what use they are to everyone in the world beyond Limbo.'

He suddenly turned slightly and nodded.

"Everything in place? Are the Clans ready?"

Martin Allen materialized next to him and nodded.

"Lord Gray personally decided to bring order to the thoughts of the Independents. He has threatened them."

"Haha, that's him. Being direct is always the best way to deal with idiots; they're easy to convince, after all."

"Despite that, you didn't do it before. It seed more like you just wanted to instill fear in them but leave the door open for them to betray you."

"Well, it's not my job to convince idiots." Matthew shrugged.

"I guess that's true." Martin Allen looked towards the large buildings in the distance, and among them, a mansion that stood out above the rest.

"I can sll Becker's fear from here. It looks like he's been left behind."

"Yes. Relish and Edevane found out about our movents beforehand, and that made them afraid. I suppose Charles was just a scapegoat so they could escape."

"Do you think we could beat both Clans if they ca together?"

"We're strong, aren't we, Martin?"

"We are."

"But we're not idiots," Matthew declared.
