Then he smiled.
"Do it slowly; I’ll be here, even if you swerve, to bring you back to the right track. But I know you won’t. You’ve always been better at using your mind from the beginning than , so I’m sure you’ll understand my words." He replied.
Charlotte smiled and looked at him again. "Don’t overestimate , but I don’t want to give you trouble, so I’ll start moving differently then. But I’m not promising anything. Humanity is such scum that just the sight of it makes nauseous."
"Hehe, then I’ll be here to get you on the right track. This ti, I ca here because I wanted to tell you that and because I wanted to teach you several things I have learned. You should be training in the Path of Control right now, right?"
She nodded.
"Yes, I am also teaching certain little ones, among them your dear friend Holr and your rival Vanessa, but they are a bit hardheaded. Although Holr seems to be doing sothing different with my teachings, who knows what she is doing?"
"They’re both your subordinates?" he asked, surprised, and Charlotte nodded.
That was good to hear because Mia Holr was trustworthy, or at least she had shown him that during their ti together.
"Mia Holr has a brilliant mind; you must use it well. She’s a good girl and may co up with so interesting things in the future," Matthew replied, sparing a word about Vanessa.
Charlotte nodded at him. "Yes, she’s a good girl."
Matthew smiled again and spoke.
"Then I can teach you what I want. We have a different way of looking at the Power System in the vampire race, so looking at it this way might help you." After telling her this, they both moved so that Matthew could impart the knowledge to her.
Matthew wanted to explain several topics on how to get into the Universal Paths to her. The vampiric race has always been the most knowledgeable about this, as they have a system of power based on understanding it.
So, even if Charlotte rembers more things from the past than Matthew, it is possible that Matthew knows more than Charlotte in this regard.
This is because the Power System by which the human race is governed does not base the whole system on understanding the Universal Paths but on understanding the Mana.
Mana is the center of the human Power System and of most races, as in practically all existing races that base their System on the understanding of their core power. Because of that, humans are several steps behind vampires, and that is why Matthew today had a lot to tell Charlotte.
From the right way to start learning the Path of Control, the most important, to mastering the First Level. This is complicated, and while explaining it is relatively easy, doing it is very difficult.
Although Matthew explained all that to Charlotte, he didn’t forget to tell her that to master the First Level of Control, she needed to understand other paths.
They spent more than one full day on that until Matthew finished with everything he had to say.
Charlotte smiled, "You look exhausted. You must have been doing a lot of things lately. Co, let’s go to my place. I’ll make your favorite tea, " she said.
Then she got up, grabbed him by the hand, and disappeared.
As they drove toward the Nevod Mountains, Matthew questioned if this was a good idea.
"My vampire aura is easy to sense. If they discover that you, the hope of the humans, have contact with a vampire, you will put yourself in danger."
Charlotte gave him a sidelong glance before shrugging.
"There are plenty of ways to get rid of that, so don’t worry. Only authorized personnel visit my mountain."
A short ti later, they arrived in the vicinity of the mountain.
It had nurous powerful guards, but sohow, they could both cross the fence of guards, walking among them unnoticed.
Matthew looked at her in shock.
"You’ve improved trendously."
Charlotte smiled, "This is the skill that best complents any of your abilities, Matt. I’ve struggled for many years to master it, and only lately have I realized how great it can be when mixed with your power. So, be patient; soday, you will see the pinnacle of crowd control." Matthew knew she would deliver, so he said no more.
After reaching the top of the icy mountain unnoticed, Matthew frowned and looked from side to side.
"This is..."
Without thinking, he disappeared from where he was and appeared on the other side of the small house here.
His eyes sparkled with amazent.
Charlotte appeared behind him with a smile.
"You haven’t forgotten, huh? It’s been a long ti, but I could make it again. This ti, I’m not going to let sothing destroy it." She said, smiling softly.
Matthew was looking around the yard and then the house. He looked down the small hallway, which seed very familiar to him.
This small house was identical to what they both built on a mountain on Earth. In a small house like this, with a beautiful downward and upward view, they both had that longed-for ’honeymoon’.
It was built by both of them and inhabited only by them; it was a little corner of the world that belonged only to them. Sadly, this one was destroyed by an attack of beasts.
Matthew couldn’t help but smile as he saw that even the small chess table was in the sa place as always.
He approached it and touched it a little.
"You’ve infused your skill into this board - what’s its scope?" he asked.
Charlotte replied while making the special tea.
"I can’t cover the whole world anymore, but it should reach as far as Richter Realm; it’s possible that it can reach the Blacksmith Realm. I’ve focused on improving the skill of its combat power rather than its range, so it wavers a bit." She spoke.
Matthew’s eyes widened after hearing her say this.
In this world, the Human Empire is bigger than any country on earth, let alone the Dark Kingdom, which is several tis bigger than Russia. The fact that her skill can reach it there shows how incredible it is.
That’s no small feat at all, considering that there is a lot of room for improvent.
"As expected of you. Even in a World that loves and protects Vampires, you have spread your skill into the deepest corners of today’s most powerful clans. You are amazing, Charlotte." He gave her a heartfelt complint as he walked over to where she stood.
Charlotte was preparing tea at a small table nearby when Matthew embraced her from behind, drawing her to him.
"Filling with complints isn’t the best way to make reconsider which way to go, you know?"
"Nothing stops from showering my wife with complints; like I told you, I’ll put you back on track if you ever stray." He kissed her softly after saying this.
She sank into that soft kiss before continuing to make the tea she loved making the most since it was Matt’s favorite.
"Have you accepted those girls into your life?" She asked curiously.
