Chapter 302 Defeating The First Prince In A Battle Of Wits
"Rember how I emphasized our enemies as the Zeus Kingdom and its allies? It's because of that."
"I had never thought of the Zeus Kingdom as our enemy to begin with since they weren't worthy to beco one. With both the Supre Mage and Ultimate Knight in our military force, defeating the Zeus Kingdom will be as easy as lifting our weapons, but that will still co with a price."
"The Zeus Kingdom is a threat because of the neighboring kingdoms that could beco their allies. And because of that, we just need to deal with those kingdoms first."
Taking a break from his speech, the first prince continued after allowing them to understand his plans.
"Even if we can't earn the alliance from other kingdoms, we can still 'purchase' their neutrality towards our upcoming war against the Zeus Kingdom. With a bunch of resources and showing off our military strength, they would be forced to submit to us and not interfere in our war against the Zeus Kingdom."
"They will without a doubt accept our offer. Even if the Zeus Kingdom's offers are higher than ours, our offer is risk-free and they only needed to not interfere in our war against the Zeus Kingdom yet they can still earn so benefits from us."
"For both sides, it will be a win-win situation. Or at least… that's what we will make them think of our offer."
Drinking the cup of wine to quench his thirst, the first prince raised the wine glass as he continued with an evil glint in his eyes.
"After we defeat the Zeus Kingdom, why should we abide by our offers? The only threat to our military forces is the Zeus Kingdom so after dealing with them, we will be invincible in this world!"
"We will finally achieve our kingdom's dreams! Being above all humans but under only our Goddess Gaia!"
"For the glory of Goddess Gaia, will unify the world and make her religion the only devotion in this world!"
The first prince's plans coupled with his speech about his belief in their kingdom's goddess had riled up the emotions of those who not only followed the Goddess' religion but also believed in the authenticity of his plans.
In just a few minutes, the first prince was able to take the lilight away from his siblings and direct it to only him. And in that ti fra, he earned the support of the majority of the nobles within the ballroom.
Even those who supported the second prince started to have second thoughts aside from those who were loyal to the second prince.
'Should we support the second prince or not? In terms of wits, the first prince has far outshone the second prince.'
Similar thoughts were popping up inside their minds. Those who didn't support any of the siblings, to begin with, had already tilted their support towards the first prince.
This was the battle for the throne. Not only it required sufficient forces, but the successor must possess both charisma and wits. It just so happened that the first prince possessed that.
The second prince was still wet behind the ears in terms of scheming against soone while Alisceon didn't have any thoughts of such sches.
Without a doubt, Alisceon and Reid had already lost in a battle of wits against the first prince. A naive and innocent person like Alisceon and a straightforward person like Reid could never match against the first prince whose mind could rival the demon race in terms of malevolence.
Although Alisceon was smart and she only put up an innocent and naive facade before escaping from the battle of the thrones, she was only intelligent in terms of academics and decision making. But she couldn't hold a candle against the first prince in scheming.
Of course, even if the two of them were defeated, that didn't an that the person behind them was defeated by the first prince.
The likes of the first prince could never defeat a human who was only a step away from attaining 'perfection'. A human who possessed the knowledge and talents of what a human could achieve was soone that the first prince could never defeat.
If that human was that easy to defeat, then the Supre Academy wouldn't have wasted generations worth of research just to create such an unfathomable existence.
Seeing that the situation was tilting toward the first prince's favor, Allen Walker decided to step in before the situation was completely dominated by the first prince.
"You might have forgotten about one thing, first prince."
When that sentence ca out of Allen's mouth, silence perated the room.
In terms of respect and status, they thought of the Supre Mage and the Ultimate Knight as soone above the king. After all, unlike the king who was just a re human, the Supre Mage and Ultimate Knight were both monsters in human clothing regarding the profession that they mastered in.
Of course, they would still obey the king's command rather than the Supre Mage and the Ultimate Knight's words. But Allen's words had caused all of their attention to shift from the first prince to him.

To not let the crowd forget about his existence, the first prince responded to the Supre Mage while giving off a friendly vibe, as if the Supre Mage and he were good friends.
'Tsk! Even if you are smiling, I can see through those evil thoughts of yours. Even the Supre Actor can't hide their intentions from , let alone you who is still a newbie in this profession.'
The first prince might be good at putting up a facade to hide his intentions, it was easily seen through by Allen. And because of that, he no longer cared much about the first prince.
To him, the first prince was just so arrogant and ambitious weakling who wanted to rule the world yet doesn't know that soone was clearly above him.
'So what if you are the Supre Mage? I have already won the support of the nobles here. You are only a pawn in my plans and can only be my subordinate when I rule the world!'
'And by then, Gaia will finally notice and I can finally be soone suitable to be her wife! I wonder how it feels to fuck a goddess!?'
While the first prince was lost in his thoughts, thinking as if he had already won, Allen's words shattered his daydreams.
"Your plan might seem flawless. But you forgot about one thing. Your plan includes my and the Ultimate Knight's assistance, no?"
Although the first prince was halted from his daydreaming due to Allen's words, he still responded absentmindedly to Allen.
"Yes, for my plan to work, I need your and the Ultimate Knight's cooperation."
But when that sentence was spoken by him, the first prince instantly went pale. He wasn't dumb or else he couldn't sche against his royal siblings and because of that, he already saw through where Allen was going with his wordplay.
"As you have affird, you need my and the Ultimate Knight's cooperation. But you have forgotten about one thing."
"The Ultimate Knight and I allied with my little sister and the second prince, not you!"
"So even if you provided that plan, it wouldn't be a reality unless my little sister and the second prince both decided to make that plan a reality. In other words, all of us contributed aside from your campaign!"
Hearing Allen's words, the first prince already felt his heart beating loudly while his palms were sweaty. Buckets of sweat poured down the first prince's face and the arrogant yet calm facade could no longer be maintained by the first prince.
For the first ti in his life, the first prince felt that his plans were thwarted by soone! It was checkmate!
"With that being said, I know that you lot here are intelligent people."
"The first princess and the second prince had already allied. Both I, the Supre Mage, and the Ultimate Knight have already joined their alliance."
"As a representative of their alliance, I invite you all to join our noble cause of showing those Zeus Kingdom people their rightful place! Those bunch of peasants should just grovel beneath our feat as they tremble before the might of our Gaia Kingdom!"
Allen's speech stirred up the hearts of those who were inside the ballroom.
'A natural-born ruler!'
Even the king had such a thought in his mind when he witnessed Allen's actions and listened to Allen's speech.
During his speech, Allen had already activated all of his talents that could buff his charisma such as Supre Emperor, Supre General, Supre Politician, etc.
And to add the last ingredient to his dish, Allen even removed the suppression of his talent. Now, they were witnessing Allen's true appearance which was breathtaking and was no different from a god's appearance.
'Is he the apostle sent by Goddess Gaia to lead us to victory?'
