Su Qing sneered even harder when she heard that.
Zheng Yanyan had no choice but to look at Zhou Yuwen with a pitiful expression.
Zhou Yuwen patted her leg and said, “Calm down for a bit.”
“I’ve never played golf myself. If you want to go, make an appointnt by yourself. Then you can go with Su Qing to learn from her—you might actually find it useful soday.”
When Zheng Yanyan realized Zhou Yuwen wasn’t willing to take her, she got a bit disappointed and said, “I’m definitely not going with her. If I go, I’ll go with Linlin.”
“Like I even want to go with you!” Su Qing rolled her eyes dramatically.
The two started bickering again.
Zhou Yuwen just sighed helplessly. After all the noise and chaos, three hours later, they finally arrived in Jinling.
Since the school hadn’t started yet, and Shen Yu hadn’t arrived either, it didn’t feel appropriate for Su Qing to stay at school alone. So Zhou Yuwen took all of them to his spacious apartnt.
Zhou Yuwen’s large apartnt conveniently had three bedrooms. Lu Lin had been living in one for a while, and with a bit of tidying, the space could comfortably accommodate four people.
The only awkward part was figuring out where Zhou Yuwen would sleep at night.
In February, Xu Huai was already bright and sunny, but upon arriving in Jinling, it felt even warr—likely because it was a larger city. The girls here seed more uninhibited too.
On the streets, there were already several wearing short skirts and shorts.
At the doorway of the apartnt, Lu Lin ca out to greet them, dressed casually in a flannel pajama set and looking sleepy.
When Zheng Yanyan saw Lu Lin like this, she couldn’t help but laugh. She said, “Oh my God, Linlin, what’s with your look! You’re not even a little bit polished.”
“What’s the point of being polished? There’s nobody else around here.” Lu Lin yawned and replied.
Zheng Yanyan laughed so hard she covered her mouth. “You’re really sothing. Zhou Yuwen sees you like this all the ti!”

Those words were music to Zheng Yanyan’s ears, but Zhou Yuwen also caught Lu Lin’s look and thought to himself, her words are loaded with aning.
Still, no matter how wistful she might be, there was nothing he could do in a situation like this—he couldn’t just pull her into his arms in front of everyone and comfort her.
Zhou Yuwen ntioned there were so local specialties in the trunk.
“Lu Lin, help grab them.”
The trunk was filled with local dishes and clothes Mrs. Zhou had packed for them. Zhou Yuwen hadn’t thought it necessary to bring so much, but his mother had insisted on stuffing the trunk full.
Since it didn’t require any effort on his part, he figured he might as well bring so along.
As it happens, Zheng Yanyan really enjoyed a particular specialty from Zhou Yuwen’s hotown—sothing called “pancakes.”
She found Zhou Yuwen’s family’s pancakes wrapped with small fish and chili incredibly delicious.
Now, she grabbed Lu Lin’s hand and said, “Oh Linlin, let tell you, I tried this amazing dish at Zhou Yuwen’s house. Once we’re upstairs, I’ll let you taste it. I swear, pancakes with chili and small fish are to die for!”
“How good could it possibly be?”
“Trust , you’ve never had anything this good before! Zhou Yuwen’s mom made it herself for us!”
“You t your future mother-in-law already?”
“Ugh, stop teasing !”
Lu Lin really had a way with words—just a few sentences, and Zheng Yanyan’s face was already flushed with joy, looking utterly pleased.
The things Mrs. Zhou had packed for Zhou Yuwen, combined with Su Qing and Zheng Yanyan’s luggage, left the group carrying quite a few bags.
Once they got inside the house, Zheng Yanyan imdiately sprawled on the couch, sighing, “Finally ho!”
She seed to feel more at ho here than she did back in her place in the Capital City!
After all, this apartnt was luxuriously decorated and offered stunning views.
Staying here was genuinely comfortable.
Su Qing glanced at her in her “natural habitat” and snorted internally before placing the pickled vegetables prepared by Yang Lirong and her mother into the fridge.
Lu Lin helped out as well.
At this point, Zheng Yanyan realized she was lying down too soon. She hurried over in her slippers to offer help.

Zheng Yanyan replied, “You’re lucky to even get a taste. Think about Shen Yu—she hasn’t even had a bite. Let’s take a picture and show her. Zhou Yuwen, do you want to try so?”
Zhou Yuwen was on the couch making a phone call and casually replied, “You guys go ahead, don’t mind .”
Before the holiday started, Zhou Yuwen had organized 4,000 workers for a factory job. With so many people, accidents were inevitable. Thankfully, Zhou Yuwen had preemptively purchased insurance, but there were still matters that needed handling.
He had already asked Liu Shuo to handle the situation beforehand. Now that he was in Jinling, Zhou Yuwen called Liu Shuo to check on the progress.
