Seeing Zhou Yuwen paying little attention to her, Zheng Yanyan climbed directly into the driver’s seat, into Zhou Yuwen’s arms, and coquettishly asked if he was angry.

Zhou Yuwen said, "What have I got to be angry about?"

"Lucky we switched to a bigger car, now you can crawl all over the place," Zhou Yuwen said.

Upon hearing this, Zheng Yanyan burst into giggles.

While waiting for Lu Lin, Zhou Yuwen finished his call with You Changjin. You Changjin was delighted and imdiately called Jiang Xinyi, asking where she was.

Jiang Xinyi answered, "I’m at the dorm."

"I just had three job interviews today. The pay is too low, and they even require unpaid overti. Mainly, it’s far from where I live. Sigh, if this goes on, I might really surrender!"

Hearing his girlfriend’s complaints, You Changjin couldn’t help smiling and said, "Why don’t you co out for dinner tonight? I have so good news to tell you."

"What good news?"

"I’ll keep it a secret for now. I’ll tell you when you co out!"

And so, You Changjin rode his little electric scooter to Jinling University. He often went to see Jiang Xinyi like that, only since she started her internship, she had beco much busier, and they rarely had als together.

If Jiang Xinyi could intern at Zhou Yuwen’s place, You Changjin thought, they would have many more chances to et.

Jiang Xinyi stood at the entrance of the cafeteria waiting for You Changjin, asking, "What’s the matter? Why insist on eting to talk?"

You Changjin parked his little electric scooter, then took out the costics Zhou Yuwen had brought for him, saying, "My student went to Hong Kong and helped buy so costics on the side, do you like them?"

Jiang Xinyi glanced at the costics in the box. Actually, she seldom used such costics, but seeing the hopeful look in You Changjin’s eyes, she didn’t want to disappoint him and said, "Oh, how much are they? I’ll transfer the money to you."

"No need to transfer, consider it a gift from ."

Jiang Xinyi wanted to use her previous argunt with him, but he insisted that she keep it, even proudly believing he had a good excuse—he said these were bought in Hong Kong and were much cheaper than on the mainland.

Jiang Xinyi wasn’t foolish; she knew they couldn’t be that much cheaper, but seeing his insistence, she thought that later, she would return the favor with an equal gift.

Right now, Jiang Xinyi indeed didn’t have much money on her, after all, her financial support from her mother had been cut off.

"You haven’t had dinner yet, have you? Let treat you to a al," said Jiang Xinyi, who could only afford to invite You Changjin to a al with her al card.

"Hey!" You Changjin was very happy, and then, while walking with Jiang Xinyi into the cafeteria, said he had more good news to tell her.

"How’s the job search going?"

Jiang Xinyi said, "Didn’t I just tell you? I found three, but none worked out."

You Changjin asked again, "What kind of job are you looking for?"

Jiang Xinyi sighed and said, "Actually, my salary demands aren’t very high, just enough for to live on. My graduate courses are not finished yet, and sotis I still have classes, so I’m looking for a part-ti job, preferably close to the school. But I find such jobs are hard to co by."

Jiang Xinyi beca more and more intrigued as You Changjin spoke, and seeing the timing was right, You Changjin said, "Actually, I do have a job that might suit you quite well."

"You? What kind of suitable job could you have?" Jiang Xinyi found it odd.

You Changjin told Jiang Xinyi, "You ntioned your job search to before, and I took it to heart. I also asked my student to inquire around, do you know about your school’s Xianlin Express?"

"Yes, I’ve talked to you about it. I think Xianlin Express is doing quite well. In the past, students working part-ti jobs would earn around ten yuan, but they offer twenty directly. I guess that the boss behind it must be a student with ample funds because jobs like these definitely require so capital upfront," Jiang Xinyi said with so interest when Xianlin Express was brought up.

In just under a month, the previously chaotic campus delivery market suddenly beca orderly, and one used to have to pay fifty cents to pick up a package.

Since Xianlin Express arrived, there was no charge at all.

Best of all, for so large items, those students working at the delivery stations were even willing to deliver to doorsteps, though for a fee. But for students like Jiang Xinyi, who would not quibble over a yuan or two, what mattered was the quality of service.

Just on this point alone, Xianlin Express was doing exceedingly well. Experience tales at .Côm

Now, on campus, it was common to encounter students in blue uniforms working part-ti, and even so students delivering food had donned the blue uniforms. Jiang Xinyi could vaguely sense sothing and was quite curious about who had started such a large organization.

"Would you believe it, the boss of Xianlin Express just happens to be friends with my student," You Changjin said with a smile.

"Friends?"

"Yes, they were classmates in high school. My student told that the guy never focused much on studying back then and liked to dabble in all sorts of things. This ti he’s taken over half of the delivery points in the university town and set up Xianlin Express. Then, I asked if he could find you a job. And he did help ask," You Changjin explained.

"Then, his friend ntioned that they just happen to need soone for an accounting position. The salary might be on the lower side, though, only one thousand and five hundred yuan a month!" You Changjin blurted it all out at once.

"One thousand five?" Jiang Xinyi was taken aback.

She had a background in finance and could see things for what they were. It was clear that Xianlin Express was an improvised setup, probably in need of a professional accountant, but they definitely wouldn’t offer one thousand and five hundred yuan for a part-ti accountant.

If there were accounting matters that needed handling, it would be more cost-effective to hire soone from an accounting firm. There was no need to spend one thousand five hundred yuan to hire soone directly.

Jiang Xinyi was curious about why they would offer one thousand five hundred yuan.

You Changjin said sowhat proudly, "It must be because of my face. I told my student that your auntie here is looking for a job, and to ask around for ."

"Then once he heard, he said that anything concerning his teacher’s wife is his own business, and he decided on the spot!"

You Changjin had intended to show off a little in front of his girlfriend, but Jiang Xinyi thought it was strange. If this was his friend’s company, how could he have possibly made that decision?

"Well, um..." You Changjin beca a bit embarrassed; he had carried on the pretense too far. Zhou Yuwen had only called him after a good while, and not only had You put on such an act, but he had also inflated the salary by 50%. Anyone with a clear eye could see sothing was off.

All the more so for Jiang Xinyi.

Full of curiosity, Jiang Xinyi asked, "What’s the na of this student of yours? Do I know him?"

You Changjin hesitated for a mont, "It’s that one, Zhou Yuwen."

"Zhou Yuwen?"
