The Tathagata had yet to speak when Bai Jin imdiately said with righteous indignation, "Lady Nuwa, I can testify that these words were indeed said by the Tathagata. He had previously ntioned them to the Buddha Bodhisattvas of Spiritual Mountain, and just now, he had also said it in front of the two Saints.
"I understand the Tathagata’s intention clearly. The fertility of living beings Between Heaven and Earth has its own principles. Lady Nuwa, your establishnt of the Creation Spring is an act that disrupts the laws of Heaven and Earth; it is a violation of the cosmic order. Thus, infants born of this would be considered nefarious fetus, ghostly offspring, and they will be subjected to divine punishnt and annihilation.
"Although I know that Lady Nuwa, you are of Great Compassion and do not agree with his words, I will still defend his right to express his viewpoint."
"Bai Jin, shut your mouth!" The Buddha fud with rage, trembling in hands and feet. He wants dead!
"Fellow Daoist, don’t be afraid of her. Now that you have the reason on your side, what is there to fear?"
Nuwa watched the Tathagata with a smile that was not quite a smile, "Duo Bao Tathagata, I really underestimated you."
Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad coughed and poured a cup of tea for Lady Nuwa, smiling as he said, "Junior Sister, please have so tea!"
"Thank you, Senior Brother," she replied, yet making no motion to drink the tea.
"Lady, please listen to my explanation. What Bai Jin just said is absolutely... absolutely not this disciple’s aning. This disciple holds the utmost respect for Lady Nuwa," the Tathagata urgently explained.
"Fellow Daoist, you must stand firm and exhibit the authority of the Tathagata, who is revered above all in Heaven and Earth. For the sake of the truth, even if it ans the soul is scattered and the spirit is lost, never bow down."
Duo Bao Tathagata was seething with anger inside. Soul scattered and spirit lost, why don’t you go through that yourself?! You want dead!
Lady Nuwa said indifferently, "It’s a bold statent, and I admire it.
However, Bai Jin is correct. In this era, you are the Ruler of the World, and indeed, I do not have the right to kill you. But for such an insult to , I certainly will not let you off easily."
The Tathagata opened his mouth but found himself speechless, unable to justify any further.
Saint Zhunti couldn’t help but say, "Senior Sister, could you perhaps consider granting so leeway on my account..."
"Fellow Daoist, I too have my dignity," Zhunti had not yet finished speaking before he was interrupted by Lady Nuwa.
Saint Zhunti fell silent imdiately. So be it, I’ll carry the burden of my own troubles.
Lady Nuwa turned towards the Tathagata and said, "You are the leader of a sect, possessing your own glory. I will not hit you nor scold you."
The Tathagata breathed a sigh of relief and quickly responded, "Thank you, Lady Nuwa!"
"In the Blood Sea, there grows a precious beast called the Blood Spirit Fish. Go and capture thirty for . You must do so with your own hands and cannot use another’s na."
The Tathagata let out another sigh of relief—a re fish, how simple. With gratitude, he folded his hands in prayer, bowed his head, and said, "Thank you, Lady Nuwa!"
The Tathagata then looked towards Bai Jin, his heart filled with rage wanting to vent.
Suddenly, the sky turned dark, as the Great Red Heaven turned into night, and seven substantial Ancient Stars floated above the night sky, shining with dazzling light, resembling a ladle.
Everyone looked up, wondering who had arrived.
A hum—each of the seven Ancient Stars shone a beam of light down below. The starlight ford a continuous curtain on the ground, casting a bright screen of stars.
A wave rippled across the screen, and an old grandmother holding a swaddled infant stepped out with a face full of tender, kind smiles.
Lady Nuwa showed a look of surprise—why has she co? She glanced subconsciously at Taishang Saint, her eyes filled with teasing laughter.
Bai Jin promptly gave a bow and said, "Disciple pays respects to Master’s mother!"
The Buddha also brought his hands together and made a respectful bow, saying, "Paying respects to Lady Yalong."
Nuwa and Zhunti Sect Master slightly nodded and smiled.
Taishang Saint smiled and asked, "What brings you here?"
Lady Yalong, holding the swaddled infant, walked over with a beaming smile and said, "I’ve brought a young junior to show you."
She sat down next to Taishang Saint, passed over the swaddling clothes, and said with a loving face, "Look how adorable this girl is, she doesn’t look anything like Tianpeng."
Taishang Saint reached out and tapped Zhu Er Ya’s little nose, laughing heartily, "Indeed adorable, about the sa as Long Ji when he was young."
Duo Bao suddenly felt a sense of foreboding; this old lady’s visit at this ti probably did not bode well!

The Buddha broke into a cold sweat and quickly said, "Reporting to the Lady, this is a misunderstanding. Our Buddha Sect has no intentions of harming their child."
Bai Jin also chid in from the side, "That’s right, it’s just a misunderstanding. I can testify that Buddhism absolutely has no intention to harm this infant. The Buddha Bodhisattvas of Buddhism are of great compassion. How could they do such a thing as murdering an infant?! What they wanted to harm was clearly the unborn fetus."
Lady Yalong imdiately flew into a rage and shouted, "You even lay hands on a fetus; what kind of Buddha do you practice?"
"It’s just a fetus, what’s so difficult about that? It’s not the first ti, either.
Moreover, all Buddhism wanted was to seize them and persuasively convince them to voluntarily abort, what does that have to do with Buddhism?"
The Buddha angrily shouted, "Bai Jin, shut your mouth, don’t talk."
Bai Jin feeling sowhat wronged, said, "Elder brother, I’m helping you!"
"Is that supposed to be helping ? You obviously want to harm ."
The Buddha quickly explained, "Lady, please hear my explanation. The monk had no intention to harm Marshal Tianpeng and only sought to discuss Zen with Tang Sanzang, nothing more."
Bai Jin said quietly from the side, "Monks should not lie!"
The Buddha didn’t even glance at Bai Jin, having never seen such a despicable and shaless person, whose intent to harm never ceases.
Lady Yalong gently patted the infant in the swaddle, irritated, and said, "Taishang, you must give this child justice, or else I am not leaving today."
"Very well," Taishang Saint nodded with a smile and then looked towards Saint Zhunti, saying, "Fellow Daoist, you’ve seen the situation for yourself. Duo Bao Tathagata attempts to harm my junior, what do you think should be done?"
