"Not yet, Your Grace. I assure you, I will make every effort," Bai Jin promised.
Bai Jin spoke with heartfelt affection, "Recently, I learned from my elders that a Chaos Xuan Turtle appeared near the Primordial World. I imdiately thought of you, Your Grace, and went straight into the Chaos, battling mightily despite grave injuries, all to hunt down the Chaos Xuan Turtle for you."
"When I left, Your Grace, you gave a chicken that you no longer needed from your free-range flock. I thought, a re chicken is of little value, so I casually offered it to Nuwa, with the intention of gathering information from her and to serve you better, Your Grace. All my thoughts are for you!"
As for serving her and infiltrate others, Wa Niangniang Ping Xin was not concerned at all. Her focus was entirely on what Bai Jin said about hunting the Xuan Turtle desperately for her. Hunting the Xuan Turtle to the death for , giving a free-range chicken to Nuwa, heh, it’s pretty clear who is dear and who is distant.
Wa Niangniang Ping Xin was in a great mood and said with a smile, "You, don’t take such risks for again in the future."
"To serve Your Grace is my joy!" Bai Jin imdiately responded with delight.
Wa Niangniang Ping Xin looked at the joyful Bai Jin but still felt a bit worried. Suddenly she rembered sothing and said with a smile, "Little White, there actually is sothing I need you to do."
Bai Jin asked curiously, "What matter?"
"There is a country in the Western Continent known as Daughter Country. Go and annihilate it," she ordered.
Bai Jin was shocked. Daughter Country, that’s where Tang Sanzang’s emotional trial is located? Why does Your Grace suddenly want to destroy Daughter Country?
When in doubt, just ask, "Your Grace, why must I destroy this Daughter Country? Is there sothing improper about it?"
"You’ll know when you go there."
"Yes!" Bai Jin bowed and left.
After Bai Jin left, Wa Niangniang Ping Xin sat on her Cloud Bed, smiled slightly and thought, Little White, you really must not disappoint . Otherwise, see how I deal with you.
Wa Niangniang Ping Xin spoke, "Nuwa, do you still rember Daughter Country?"
In Wa Emperor Heaven, Nuwa stood in a pavilion, a black chicken placed on a table. Thinking how best to cook the chicken, should she braise it or make a soup?
Suddenly, a voice ca through, "Nuwa, do you still rember Daughter Country?"
Nuwa waved her hand, and the black chicken flew away clattering like a streak of black lightning across the sky.
Nuwa looked up, surprise flashing in her eyes. Why would Ping Xin suddenly reach out? Could she have learned that Bai Jin gifted the black chicken that I’ve raised so carefully and thus feel enraged? And I wonder if she made things difficult for Bai Jin!
Nuwa calmly said, "Daughter Country? I’ve long stopped paying attention to it. Their future is for them to decide."
Back in Pingxin Palace, Nuwa’s voice suddenly rang out.
Wa Niangniang Ping Xin smiled slightly and said, "The Yin Heavenly Son from the Underworld has reported that Daughter Country is teeming with baby spirits. Nuwa, this is your karma."
In Wa Emperor Heaven, Nuwa’s expression changed, and she imdiately looked towards the Primordial World. Her gaze pierced through endless ti and space, landing upon Daughter Country, observing it in an instant, and her face instantly soured.
Wa Niangniang Ping Xin’s voice ca again, "Nuwa, do you dare to compete with ?"
Nuwa frowned and asked, "A competition in what?"
"I have already sent Bai Jin to destroy Daughter Country. Let’s see if you can instruct Bai Jin to save it and what choice he will make."
"Boring!"
"Don’t you want to know whose orders Bai Jin will listen to?"
"The loser is definitely you."
"Hehe~" Inside the Pingxin Palace, the Empress Ping Xin wore a smile on her face, thinking, Little White, do you really care about ?
In the Wa Emperor Heaven, Nuwa stood in a pavilion, raising a snow-white finger, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous light, muttering to herself, Bai Jin, you better not disappoint ! Otherwise, the little whip will be waiting.
...
In the Western Continent flows a vast river that snakes into a circular loop, enveloping a piece of land within it, where a peculiar civilization has been established, the Daughter Country.
Bai Jin hovered above the Daughter Country, looking down and frowning imdiately. Her gaze revealed that the entire Daughter Country was crawling with Heroic Spirits, perated by an aura of resentnt.
Bai Jin exclaid in horror, "How could there be so many baby spirits?"
Without delay, she dove straight down, entering the realm and walking among it, unseen by mortals.
Bai Jin proceeded forward, observing the local customs and ways of life of the Daughter Country and eventually arrived at the Imperial Palace.
The Imperial Palace of the Daughter Country was built in a very unique manner, with a valley behind it guarded by soldiers at the valley’s entrance.
Bai Jin passed through the Imperial Palace silently, entered the valley, and imdiately caught sight of a towering Divine Palace with thick chains locked on the gates, which were also sealed with closure strips.
Bai Jin’s gaze beca distant for a mont, as if she saw the scene of the Human Clan’s inception again. Out of a daze, it seed as if she had traveled through ti back to the days when the Human Clan was newly born, when she and Fu Xi protected the survival of the Human Clan.
Ascending the steps, Bai Jin pushed on the doors, and bang—the chains broke apart, clattering to the ground, and the doors creaked open wide, dust falling from above, and several plump spiders quickly scampered away from the doorfra.
Bai Jin walked into the Divine Palace and saw three statues standing tall. At the top was a statue of Nuwa, with two Assistant Gods standing beside her, Fu Xi and Bai Jin. It felt like revisiting an old place, as if she traveled back in ti to the early days of the Human Clan when she and Fu Xi sheltered the Human Clan’s existence.
Looking at the dust-filled Divine Palace, Bai Jin felt emotional and said, "It seems that the Daughter Country must be a branch of the matriarchal society left behind. Billions of years have passed, and they have long forgotten their history, otherwise, they wouldn’t have sealed this Divine Palace."
With a wave of her hand, a small tornado ford within the Divine Palace, sucking up all the dust and cobwebs, whirling toward the tornado and forming a dust vortex.
The dust vortex swept out of the Divine Palace, flew straight up into the sky, and disappeared.
Bai Jin bowed three tis to the statue of Nuwa, turned around and left. If she rembered correctly, there should still be a Supre Treasure in this valley, the mud pit where Nuwa created humans.
Bai Jin walked into the valley to the place where Nuwa created humans, and questioned in surprise, "Eh—where is the mud pit used for creation? Why is it gone? Could soone else have taken it?"
The place where the mud pit was located looked no different from the surrounding environnt; it was rugged with stones as if it had always been like that, without any trace of the mud pit ever existing.
After searching the valley for a while and still not finding it, Bai Jin finally turned and walked out, thinking to herself, there’s sothing strange about this place!
...
Three days later, Bai Jin stood by the shore of the Mother and Child River in deep thought.
An old woman helped a young woman walk over, scooping a ladle of water from the river, offering it to the young woman, and said, "Here, drink so Holy Water, and you’ll recover from your illness after drinking it."
"Mhm~" The pale-faced young woman nodded, took a sip of water, and her complexion instantly beca rosy.
