"You’ve arrived just in ti. I too have matters to attend to with Your Majesty. Where is Your Majesty?"
"Your Majesty is in the Zining Palace!"
Bai Jin’s figure flashed and vanished, and the next mont he appeared outside the Zining Palace, striding toward the inside.
Inside the Zining Palace, the Heavenly Emperor Hao Tian sat in the main seat, frowning and deep in thought, pondering how to deal with the Demon Tribulation.
Tap, tap, tap~ A series of footsteps echoed.
Hao Tian looked up to see Bai Jin and imdiately stood up with expectation, saying, "Bai Jin, what did the Saint say?"
Bai Jin entered the great hall, clasped his hands in a salute, and said, "Your Majesty, I went to pay a visit to my Master and my Eldest Uncle. My Master said that such trivial matters need not trouble him, whereas my Eldest Uncle ntioned that great cultivators of the Primordial World plan to descend to the Lower Realm to preach the Tao, aiming to enhance the moral values of the primordial beings with the thoughts of saints."
Hao Tian frowned slightly and said, "Preaching the Tao is indeed a long-term plan, but it doesn’t solve the imdiate predicant."
"You are entirely right, Master. This disciple also thought so. Therefore, after returning, I secluded myself in contemplation within the Bird’s Nest, sharing your urgency, Master, and eventually thought of a thod."
Hao Tian casually asked, "What thod is it?" He did not hold much hope for Bai Jin’s so-called thod. If even the Saints could not manage, what good thod could he think of? Kui Gang was not a concern, but the identity of the Lord of Demon Tribulation was recognized by the Heavenly Dao, and that was difficult to suppress. What should be done?
Bai Jin suddenly said, "Master, why don’t we establish a Heavenly Tribulation of our own?"
Bai Jin’s voice was like a bolt of lightning that crossed Hao Tian’s mind, and a gleam of insight flickered in his eyes. Establishing a Heavenly Tribulation was indeed a good idea, but there was a problematic aspect. After hesitating, he said, "My nephew, if we establish a Heavenly Tribulation just like the Demon Realm has its Demon Tribulation, wouldn’t that seem like we are copying them, lacking in pride?"
Bai Jin spoke solemnly, "Master, how can it be considered copying when it’s for the sake of all beings in the Primordial World? Besides, the Heavenly Tribulation we propose to establish is completely different from the Demon Tribulation; it’s rely a coincidence that they are sowhat similar."
With no alternative, Hao Tian said, "Since you insist on establishing a Heavenly Tribulation, I can only agree, Bai Jin. Please share your thoughts in detail!"
Bai Jin’s expression was strange; what did his Master an by that? It sounded as though I was forcing him. Hearing Hao Tian asking, he didn’t have ti to think further and imdiately said, "Reporting to Master: During my seclusion, I pondered deeply. The acceptance of the Heavenly Demon Tribulation by the Primordial World indicates that it fulfills the requirents of the primordial beings.
What does the Primordial World require? It took deep contemplation to guess. Now in the Primordial World, cultivation has beco too easy. Beings simply need to obtain a cultivation thod and can then practice orderly, easily reaching the Immortal Realm and, barring accidents, living as long as Heaven and Earth, sharing the sun and moon’s luster. In the long run, wouldn’t the Primordial World be filled with beings of longevity? Would the world’s resources be sufficient to sustain this?
Therefore, the Heavenly Dao recognizes the ergence of the Heavenly Demon Tribulation as a ans to reduce the number of primordial practitioners. These are just my humble opinions; please feel free to correct , Master~"
Hao Tian nodded repeatedly and said, "Bai Jin, I didn’t expect you to think of this; it’s like waking the drear with a word! You’re absolutely right; is that why you plan to establish a Heavenly Tribulation?"
Bai Jin nodded and said, "Exactly! Since the Heavenly Demon Tribulation poses a great threat to the Primordial World and is uncontrollable, why don’t we set up a controllable Heavenly Tribulation to counteract the Heavenly Demon Tribulation? Even if it cannot completely eliminate the Heavenly Demon Tribulation, it can minimize its impact."
Hao Tian stood up and walked down, coming forward and patting Bai Jin on the shoulder, happily saying, "It turns out you had a well-thought-out plan in mind. The matter of the Heavenly Tribulation is your strategy, and I entrust it fully to you." He exclaid, "I truly should thank the Primordial Senior Brother for sending you here."
Bai Jin was sowhat embarrassed and said, "Master, please don’t praise . I tend to beco arrogant easily."
Hao Tian laughed and said, "For resolving the Heavenly Demon Tribulation and benefiting the beings of the Primordial World, you can certainly be proud. I will spread your fa throughout the Primordial World."
His expression changed and he said, "Bai Jin, would you like to take on so more responsibility? How about overseeing the Cycle Star Gods as well?"
Bai Jin imdiately shook his head and stepped back two steps with annoyance, saying, "Master, I wholeheartedly assist you, and yet you seek to harm ."
Hao Tian was startled and said, "How have I hard you?"
"Second Master told when he asked to go to the Heavenly Court," Bai Jin coughed and lifted his head, puffing out his chest as he imitated the voice of the Primordial Venerable, "Bai Jin! Your Master sent you to the Heavenly Court for you to enjoy the good life. Once there, you just need to hold the title of a Great Emperor in na. Then you don’t have to worry about anything else, just spend your days tasting tea, listening to music, and enjoying the dances."
Glancing at Hao Tian, he said, "Uncle Master, you now seem to want to keep loading responsibilities on , while you go off to taste tea, listen to music, and enjoy the dances, living a happy and carefree life every day. This way of doing things seems rather unrighteous."
Hao Tian choked and coughed a couple of tis, then said, "Did Second Brother really say that?"
"Why don’t you go and ask him yourself!"
Hao Tian shook his head and said, "Forget it, if you’re unwilling to take on the burden, then so be it."
He asked, "Bai Jin, what do you think the nature of the Heavenly Tribulation should be?"
"Naturally, it should be primarily the Thunderbolt Tribulation. The vast thunder can drive away the Demonic Qi, weaken the power of the Heavenly Demons, and can also be assisted by the forces of Earth Fire, Water, and Wind, forming the Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water Tribulations."
Hao Tian nodded and smiled, saying, "It seems that you have a complete plan, good! In your opinion, who would be best to handle the Heavenly Demon Tribulation?"
Speaking seriously, Bai Jin said, "Uncle Master, it’s still best to consult the Taoist Ancestor about this matter beforehand. If the establishnt of the Heavenly Tribulation fails, we would beco a laughingstock."
Hao Tian nodded repeatedly and said, "It should indeed be so. Sit here for a while, I’ll make a trip to the Zixiao Palace." After saying this, Hao Tian took a step and instantly vanished without a trace.
Bai Jin casually found a seat to sit down, and a goddess ca forward with refreshnts and tea, respectfully placed them on the table, and then retreated.
After Bai Jin finished his cup of tea, the space within the great hall rippled once more, and Hao Tian erged from the ripples with a pleased expression.
Bai Jin quickly stood up and eagerly asked, "Has the Taoist Ancestor agreed?"
Hao Tian nodded, joyfully saying, "Bai Jin, I have to thank you this ti. The old Master said that this thod is more beneficial to the Primordial World than the Heavenly Demon Tribulation."
Bai Jin let out a sigh of relief and said, "That’s good!"
Hao Tian looked at Bai Jin and smiled, saying, "Nephew Master, would you be willing to beco the Master of the Heavenly Tribulation?"
"Uncle Master, being the Master of the Heavenly Tribulation involves the balance of the Primordial World, requiring a person of utmost fairness and justice. To control the Heavenly Tribulation, one cannot show a hint of bias. How am I qualified for this?"
Hao Tian frowned and said, "You make sense. If the Heavenly Tribulation is not controlled by soone of utmost fairness, it will be harmful and not beneficial to the Primordial World—we might end up with another Kui Gang."
Bai Jin’s eyes glead, and he said, "Uncle Master, I actually have a candidate in mind."
"Oh? Who?"
With a smile, Bai Jin said, "In our Jie Sect, there is one who can balance both internal and external factions.
My Master has a Disciple who is unbiased and commands the respect of ten thousand immortals.
I have an elder Sister, whose wisdom is firm, capable of setting an example for the Primordial World."
Hao Tian’s expression shifted and he smiled, saying, "If it weren’t for the last sentence, I would have thought you were talking about yourself.
The Jie Sect’s Eldest Sister, Wudang Saint, indeed fits the role. Since you initiated the Heavenly Tribulation, the subsequent arrangents will also be your responsibility, and the role of the Master of the Heavenly Tribulation will be decided as the Wudang Saint, according to your wishes!"
