Of course, it's not a peaceful place.

As the collection of Purple Silver Pearls began, the entire Sea of Mist was engulfed in hidden surging currents!

The Green Light Safe Zone, known as the safest of the three major regions in the Sea of Mist, was now experiencing terrifying events.

In the left sea area of the Green Light Safe Zone, three Divine Kings from the Snow Desert Divine Kingdom were initially preparing to act separately when suddenly, a Purple Silver Pearl flew straight towards them.

One of the Divine Kings, overjoyed, imdiately reached out to grab the Purple Silver Pearl.

As soon as the Pearl landed in his hand, the next mont, the Divine King suddenly felt a trendous force beneath his feet.

In an instant, his entire being was seized and dragged towards the seawater by an inexplicable power!

When he looked down, he was shocked to discover that his foot had been unknowingly entwined by a blood-red tentacle.

Despite his combat power, he was completely unable to resist the tentacle's pull.

Boom!

In an instant, amidst horrifying screams, the Divine King was dragged into the seawater.

The other two Divine Kings beside him, who had been joyous and slightly jealous of their friend for acquiring a Purple Silver Pearl, were suddenly alard when they saw him being pulled into the sea.

Boom! Boom!

The two imdiately dove into the seawater, attempting to rescue their friend.

Then, sothing chilling happened.

At first glance, the sea surface showed no silver lightning sparks or glimrs, but upon diving into the water, the two discovered a massive, terrifying blood-red demon over a hundred ters long lurking in the sea below them.

This horrifying creature, hundreds of ters long, had nurous blood-red tentacles. At that mont, one of its tentacles was directly wrapped around the foot of their friend.

Their friend had already been dragged to a depth of several dozen ters underwater.

Seeing this, the two Divine Kings didn't dare hesitate any longer. Their Divine Power flared instantly, and each activated a Divine Weapon, charging at the blood-red demon.

Underwater, their Divine Power was heavily impacted, yet these two were formidable.

In their joint attack, they managed to sever many of the demon's blood-red tentacles.

The tentacle gripping their friend was also cut off, finally freeing the Divine King with the Purple Silver Pearl.

The three scarcely had ti to react to the sudden turn of events when the blood-red demon, now missing several tentacles, seed to recognize the danger posed by the trio. It let out a piercing scream and fled.

However, as it escaped, the blood-red demon spewed out a massive amount of ink-like blood, instantly turning a vast area of seawater into crimson.

The trio barely had ti to react before this blood-ink substance stained their bodies.

As soon as they were tainted, the three were horrified to discover their protective divine light eroding at an unimaginable speed. Eventually, several parts of their bodies were pierced through by the blood-ink.

Under these circumstances, the trio dared not stay underwater any longer. Desperate, they swam frantically towards the surface.

Only after reaching the Void above and expelling the blood-ink from their bodies while healing their injuries did the trio's lingering fear subside.

They were lucky—encountering such a creature in the Green Light Safe Zone ant it wasn't overly deadly.

Otherwise, all three might have perished here!

Even though they survived, their Divine Power was greatly depleted, especially as the blood-ink had pierced through much of their bodies. Despite channeling Divine Power to heal themselves, their Life Essence suffered significant loss.

This incident completely deterred the trio from acting separately again.

Next ti, should they encounter such peril without aid, luck would not suffice!

anwhile, on the right side of the Green Light Safe Zone, a group of over ten Divine Kings was battling a sea demon with bizarre teeth.

This sea creature had already flown out of the water into the Void.

Its physical body was enormous, spanning a thousand ters and resembling a leopard-like monster. Its abrupt appearance in the open Void drew the attention of several Divine Kings searching for Purple Silver Pearls from afar.

The battle comnced as soon as the bizarre-toothed monster erged from the sea, engaging directly with the ten Divine Kings nearby.

As the conflict progressed, the Divine Kings grew increasingly alard at the creature's terrifying combat power. Despite being outnumbered, it managed to tear through several of them fiercely, leaving blood splattered everywhere!

Realizing the dire situation, Divine Kings from other regions flew over to join the fray, ultimately managing to slay the bizarre-toothed sea monster.

However, by then, three Divine Kings had already fallen to the monstrous creature.

The Divine Kings had inadvertently provoked the monster by entering its territory, drawn by the lure of over a dozen Purple Silver Pearls, each emitting a pungent odor.

Blinded by greed, they ignored the stench that signified the area belonged to the sea monster!

After this deadly confrontation, even within the Green Light Safe Zone, no one dared to relax their vigilance.

Many began forming teams after thoroughly discussing future Pearl distributions, avoiding solo ventures.

If the Green Light Safe Zone was unsettling, then the Yellow Light Danger Zone was utterly perilous.

Many Divine Kings with fortunate luck had already collected so Purple Silver Pearls.

Others, like the five Divine Kings Ye Chen had encountered earlier, had already perished amid treacherous ambushes in the Yellow Light Danger Zone.

So t their ends in battles against sea demons lurking beneath the waves.

Others were rcilessly swept away and killed by sudden supernatural storms and tsunamis.

More terrifying still was human greed.

Divine Kings who obtained Purple Silver Pearls beca targets, and so ended up murdered for their treasures.

Near the area where the Yellow Light Danger Zone bordered the Green Light Safe Zone, a Divine King from Qianjue Divine Kingdom was being relentlessly pursued by another from Snow Desert Divine Kingdom.

The fleeing Divine King's arm had already been severed.

Desperately, he fled toward the Green Light Safe Zone, knowing he could survive once he crossed into its no-kill boundaries.

His pursuer, the Snow Desert Divine King, had witnessed him collecting over twenty Purple Silver Pearls and refused to let him escape.

Fuelled by unbridled greed, the Snow Desert Divine King unleashed every ounce of his Divine Power in this frantic chase.

Finally, when the fleeing Qianjue King crossed into the Green Light Safe Zone, the Snow Desert King reluctantly halted his pursuit, glaring ferociously before leaving.

After all, the Green Light Safe Zone strictly prohibited murder—a law of the Heavenly God Mountain's second world he dared not defy.

Safely escaped, the Qianjue King, now missing an arm, vowed never to return to the Yellow Light Danger Zone.

The three-month period for collecting Purple Silver Pearls had begun.

From the very first day in the Sea of Mist, countless calamities unfolded.

Ye Chen, of course, was not spared.

Venturing into the Yellow Light Danger Zone, Ye Chen also encountered attacks by sea monsters during the subsequent four days.

The pan-snake sea monster with five heads that had killed five Divine Kings earlier reappeared in his path on the second day within the Heavenly God Mountain's second world.

Ye Chen was unsure whether it was the sa monster from before or another one.

This creature's speed was terrifyingly swift—had Ye Chen's strength faltered, he would have been devoured like those five Divine Kings.

Through mastery of the Mysterious Spirit Thousand Sword Skills and use of his flying sword, Ye Chen ultimately slew the creature.

Following this battle, Ye Chen encountered seven more sea monsters of various kinds.

Every one of those creatures possessed Heavenly Divine Venerable-level combat power, most in the Lower tiers—two even reached the Superior tier.

Only Ye Chen could slay these beasts; anyone else encountering them would face near-certain death.

Indeed, the abundance of dangers Ye Chen faced was partially due to his own choices.

While other challengers cautiously explored small regions of the sea, Ye Chen boldly scoured vast areas at high speeds.

This increased the probability of encountering perilous foes.

Yet, the expansive searches provided clear advantages—Ye Chen had far greater opportunities to find Purple Silver Pearls.

In just four days, Ye Chen successfully collected 103 Pearls, inching closer to the thousand needed for advancing to the next tier.

That said...

Ye Chen wasn't the top collector of Purple Silver Pearls.

The highest collector turned out to be Mu Qingxue from Tai Qing Divine Institute of Wanmu Mountain Divine Kingdom, who had separated from Ye Chen earlier.

On the fourth day in the Sea of Mist...

Mu Qingxue was sitting quietly near a secluded sea area.

Unlike Ye Chen, she didn't frantically search across various regions.

After parting ways with Ye Chen, Mu Qingxue spent half a day flying to this specific area, guided by an inexplicable intuition that Purple Silver Pearls would appear here. She decided to wait.

Mu Qingxue's intuition proved remarkably accurate.

Over the next four days, she discovered incredible successes: on the first day alone, she found over 30 Purple Silver Pearls; on the second day, more than 50. On the third day, she stumbled upon a small cluster of Pearls numbering over 200!

These substantial rewards thrilled Mu Qingxue beyond asure!

Then, on the fourth day, as she ditated and observed the surrounding seas, a mysterious purple storm suddenly erged.

Though the storm blew fiercely against her, Mu Qingxue endured it with her impressive combat power.

As it subsided, Mu Qingxue was astonished to discover a large pile of Purple Silver Pearls floating not far from her.

Far larger than the cluster of over 200 Pearls she had collected earlier, this heap was the size of a basin.

At first glance, Mu Qingxue scread in excitent, "So many Purple Silver Pearls!"

She darted toward the heap, collecting it speedily. Upon counting, she realized it contained a staggering 3,693 Purple Silver Pearls!

Holding these jewels, shimring with purple-silver divine light, Mu Qingxue was overwheld with elation!

These Pearls not only fulfilled the thousand-piece requirent needed to ascend to the third layer of Heavenly God Mountain but exceeded it by over 2,000.

Each surplus Pearl was worth one billion Black Divine Coins. Collectively, these two thousand Pearls equated to over two trillion Black Divine Coins—a fortune rivaling even so Immortal Divine Venerables!

A divine windfall!

This was undoubtedly an unfathomable treasure! Mu Qingxue's delight soared through the heavens for amassing such wealth in rely four days!

Amid her exhilaration, Mu Qingxue was storing the Pearls in her spatial storage when the surroundings suddenly grew eerily quiet.

The next mont, Mu Qingxue noticed a figure in the Void, staring at her with unmistakable greed in his eyes.

This figure was none other than Sima Liao, ranked second on the Heavenly God List and recently advanced to Lower Earth Divine Venerable!

Mu Qingxue's actions in harvesting the colossal heap of Purple Silver Pearls had inadvertently drawn Sima Liao's attention!
