Chapter 489
"I pay my respects to the War Angel, Archangel Nevaeh,"
Oberon said, stunned upon seeing her. Even now, he rembered the face of the strongest angel who had managed to defeat many demon lords and was the pillar of the angel race.
Her strength was comparable to that of a God, but she remained deeply loyal to the Goddess of Light, who was her teacher.
He didn't expect to see her here, and he had thought that she was already dead because her position in the angel clan remained vacant, and she had not appeared for many years.
Even so, none dared to replace her position, as the angel race believed that she was alive. Now, Oberon learned that she was truly alive.
He didn't know why her powers were only at the Divine Emperor level, but he didn't dare to disrespect her because he still felt danger emanating from her.
'Maybe she is just suppressing her powers not to alert others. That's right; it must be the case,'
Oberon mused, becoming more respectful toward her.
'As expected of an Archangel, she must have a big plan, and an insignificant being like cannot comprehend what a powerhouse thinks.'
Gabriella looked at him and said, "Oh, are you the child of Fantana, the Queen of Fairy? Your eyes are the sa as hers."
Oberon was pleased that she recognized him, so he nodded and replied, "Yes, Archangel Nevaeh. I was only a prince when I t you before and didn't have the right to speak to you, but I heard that my mother is your friend. I only saw you from afar and watched how you managed to slay a demon lord."
"Mother admired you the most, and I heard that she beca strong because you helped her before and saved her life when she was in danger. You are the benefactor of my family, so please accept my bow."
Gabriella smiled and said, "That was in the past. Don't call Nevaeh anymore; call Gabriella, as it was the na given by my master."
Oberon was stunned and he asked, "Yes, Archangel Gabriella."
He didn't know what had happened to Gabriella, but he didn't dare to ask her.
"What happened to Fantana?"
Oberon clenched his fist as he replied, "My mother died after the war because her soul was corrupted by a Demon Lord. I want to beco stronger to get revenge for her, but I am stuck at the Transcendental Being, and I know that I could never face a demon lord."
Oberon knew his limits, but he believed that his daughter had a chance to reach the level he never achieved.
Gabriella sighed and replied, "It's a pity; she was a good and strong woman. If she had just unlocked her hidden potential, she might have beco a powerhouse, and your race's status would have elevated."
Then Gabriella changed the topic.
"By the way, let the girls join the war because my master ntioned they can help and it will serve as training for them."
"Don't fret about their safety; I'll protect them and your daughter as well."
Oberon was stunned but nodded and said, "Thank you, Archangel Gabriella."
He felt grateful, ensuring his daughter's safety.
"Archangel, the master you speak of is the Goddess of Light?"
Gabriella shook her head and said, "No, you will et him, but not now."
. . . . . . . . .
Dave returned to check on the girls a day later and was shocked. Flamy complained they absorbed everything and endured until the end.
The talent of the two is outstanding. Flamy grumbled because he used so treasures to maintain the training.
Dave laughed and compensated him. The girls finished refining their bodies, and a year passed in his domain due to the changed ti ratio.
It consud much of Dave's mana to keep it working. When he checked them, both beca more elegant and beautiful.
Caryll now looks mature, her playfulness gone. She gained height, now matching Hannah's stature.
Caryll is at the Mid-tier of Divine Monarch, while Hannah is at the low-tier Divine Monarch.
Their bodies can even fight against higher levels than the two.
He assessed they could destroy Draco's body before his evolution with a punch at the sa level.
. ..........
"Now, for the last training, we will spar, and we'll stop only when you manage to last for 30 seconds against . Don't worry; I will suppress my level to the sa level as you two."
Dave looked at the two and smiled, appearing calm and confident. He then waved his hands, and both entered the Tower of Trials.
Since he completed the trial to the top, he gained access to the tower's arena where anyone can spar without worrying about dying or being resurrected in full health.
"Are you looking down on us so much, Sir Dave? We are stronger than before."
Hannah was astounded, feeling Dave's arrogance, while Caryll only shook her head, replying, "Hehe, don't compare Master to others because I bet we cannot even resist one of his attacks; he's already lowering his standards."
Dave smiled and said, "Who's first?"
Caryll stepped up, cupping her fist, and said, "Enlighten , Master."
She unsheathed her sword and dashed in front of Dave.
Her speed was so fast that she appeared instantly in front of Dave.
Boom!
Caryll dashed away, feeling that she hit the air, but Dave appeared behind her and punched her back.
Boom!
Caryll was destroyed, her body annihilated.
'Ooops'
"Kukuku, you are getting stronger, huh? Forgive today because I will be brutal."
Dave laughed, and Caryll was suddenly resurrected again, her face filled with horror as she realized she had died from her master's normal punch.
"Use your full power and control your destructive energy well."
Caryll cald herself and nodded as she prepared for the second round.
Suddenly, Dave saw Caryll's eyes turn violet, and her vision and speed tripled.
When soone looked into her eyes, they would be blinded instantly, but it consud more mana for the user.
Dave, however, was unaffected, as her eyes were inferior to his Chaotic God eyes.
Yet, he felt that Caryll had the potential to threaten him if she controlled her powers better.
Caryll swung her sword at Dave, who dodged as a destructive light covered him, destroying even the space it hit.
