Kranos’s expression changed drastically as he imdiately realized sothing was wrong, but it was too late.

The next mont, more than six flying projectiles ca from different directions and attacked him. Without a chance to dodge, Kranos imdiately linked his Ti Core from his ntal space to the ti surrounding him and froze it.

Pause!

Everything imdiately beca still. He quickly used his spatial movent technique to create so distance between himself and his opponent.

On the other hand, Demule was stunned.

He gave Kranos a deep stare, sure that Kranos would be injured in that attack, but it seed he had greatly underestimated him. Aside from that, he also realized sothing crucial.

"You’re not in the Foundation Establishnt Realm!" he glared fiercely at Kranos as he spoke.

During their initial clash, he quickly realized that Kranos was far stronger than soone at the Foundation Establishnt Realm. After analyzing, he realized that Kranos had actually stepped into the Golden Core Realm and was hiding his cultivation!

At this realization, he was shocked. How old was Kranos? He was only fourteen and had already stepped into the Golden Core Realm. Such talent was truly terrifying. If it wasn’t talent... then it definitely had to do with his secret!

Demule’s curiosity toward Kranos grew deeper. No longer restricting himself for fear of hurting Kranos, a sharp longsword made entirely of tal appeared in his hand.

Seeing the weapon, Kranos felt the aura around the blue-robed cultivator change slightly. He was stunned for a mont, then his expression turned serious.

He knew that the battle ahead wasn’t going to be easy.

...

What Kranos and Demule didn’t know was that just a few feet from them, a figure was watching their battle. It was Rose!

She was similarly with her own team of three; however, they were hidden in a formation, causing Kranos and Demule to not be able to sense them.

Hidden within the formation, a young man beside Rose asked, "You won’t join hands with him to deal with this young man? He seems to have hidden his strength deeply."

Shaking her head, Rose replied, "No, he must still have so trick up his sleeve." Rose had beco slightly more cautious towards Kranos.

Previously, upon their encounter in the antique shop, she thought Kranos was arrogant; however, now it seed Kranos was actually the cautious type.

Her pale green eyes glinted slightly as she stared at Kranos from the distance with a faint smile. How interesting...

...

Demule lunged forward, striking fiercely at Kranos. He noticed that Demule’s speed had beco faster. Kranos imdiately knew that he had to use his full strength to survive the battle.

Linking his Ti Core to the surroundings, he quickly accelerated the ti around him. Imdiately, Kranos’s speed increased as well, even faster than Demule’s, causing Demule to be stunned.

However, his attack didn’t pause in the slightest. In an instant, both weapons collided, creating a resounding explosion and sending both of them flying a distance.

Demule frowned. If the battle continued like this, he guessed that the guards of Old Valarya would quickly co, and he would have to abort his mission. He couldn’t let that happen.

Turning to the side, he glanced at the lady with the summoning elent who had landed not too far away from him. He imdiately signaled her.

He thought he could deal with Kranos alone, but now it would seem he would need so help. Imdiately, he engaged with Kranos once again.

Kranos parried his sword.

However, just as Kranos was about to send out an attack of his own, the longsword rapidly shapeshifted and ford a spike ball. Kranos was stunned. Before he could react fully, the spike ball lunged forward, aiming to crush his head.

Pause!

Kranos muttered inwardly and imdiately restricted its movent before creating so distance between them. However, just as he relaxed slightly, a gust of wind blew, and he felt a chill. Without thinking twice, he swung his sword at the location.

Bang!

A loud explosion resounded, and Kranos was sent flying a few ters away. He crashed into a nearby building, causing the people inside to scream. However, just as their voices sounded, a tallic light flashed, and their heads rolled slowly to the ground. Unwilling to attract attention so soon, Demule had instantly killed them all.

Kranos struggled slightly to stand up. He glanced at the location of the previous collision and noticed what hit him. Upon the realization, he was stunned.

It was a... demon? Kranos didn’t dare believe it and for a mont he thought the city had been infiltrated by demons. However, he noticed the silver glowing rune on the demon and how the demon didn’t seem to care about the lives of the others; rather, it was just staring at him like prey.

The demon is being controlled? Kranos was shocked! He didn’t know demons could be controlled... such a technique could really help humankind in their war against demons! But he didn’t have ti to think for long as both the demon and Demule’s figure disappeared and appeared beside him.

Kranos’s expression turned into a frown. He knew he could no longer hide his trump cards. Withdrawing a small array paper from his spatial ring, he tossed it at the demon. He knew that it would be very difficult to deal with Demule with it; after all, its power was just at the Qi Condensation Realm.

After tossing the Rank One Loop Attacking Array at the demon, Kranos once again struck fiercely at Demule, not giving him a chance to react. He was betting everything he had on this new sword technique he had mastered.

Back at the academy, he had purchased a couple of techniques, and this was one of them. Restrictive Sword Strike!

Kranos muttered inwardly. Just as Demule was about to block the attack, ti froze around him. He was shocked to see that he couldn’t move. He forcefully tried to move his body, but it was to no avail! In an instant, the results of the battle had turned, and Demule’s head flew up with a bang!

Kranos sighed in relief, seeing that he had successfully killed Demule. Then he turned his attention to the demonic beast. Seeing that it was still controlled, Kranos frowned.

There’s soone here besides Demule! he realized. After killing Demule, he expected the beast to no longer be under control, but now it seed he had soone else to deal with.
