Without much hesitation ko placed took out the pill from his spatial ring and placed it on the table. He had already seen that the pill seed similar to the nine serenities pill in the ancient scroll he previously ca across which was why he dared to make this bet.
Otherwise, there were also all sorts of pills that looked similar.
Upon seeing the pill on the table, the worm demon was stunned, the pill was too similar to the nine serenities pill but, how did it get to the lower realm? The worm demon was puzzled, because of this it dared not approach the pill, sothing felt off.
Seeing this, ko’s expression changed slightly but it quickly returned back to normal, "master, you should know that taking the nine serenities pill will return you back to your peak strength, then we can conquer this world and head to the immortal world." a flash of ambitious light seed to shine in ko’s eyes.
The worm demon noticed this and thought for a mont, before ultimately disagreeing, the worm demon was always very cautious. Although it looked similar to the nine serenities pill who knew if it had been tampered with?
Seeing this, it’s tiny worm-like eyes inside the container stared at ko then it answered firmly, "no, save it for another ti."

Outside the cave a pair of eyes was staring at the interaction between ko and the worm demon, this young man was kranos. Upon hearing the discussion kranos imdiately knew that it would lead nowhere, the worm demon would ultimately not end up taking the pill.
It seed his plan was doom to fail, however he also noticed sothing strange, this demon’s aura seems to be very weak? Almost at the golden core realm... Kranos noticed as he rubbed his chin in deep thought.
He faintly felt that the demon’s aura was now similar to his and was no longer as terrifying as before. Why don’t i test it out? Kranos imdiately had this idea, he didn’t want to be impulsive, at the first sign of anything going wrong he would be the first to use space flash and teleport away!
Thinking of this kranos imdiately entered battle mode, he took out the ti sword and his figure flashed silently appearing in the dark cave.

Just as ko was about to pursuade the worm demon to take the pill he imdiately felt a chill, beside him an angry roar resounded.
"you were followed?" the worm demon imdiately realised. With its angry roar what followed was a shattering sound as the glass it was previously inside burst apart.
Soon it’s tiny worm-like size began expanding, in an instant it reached the size of a middle-aged man and stopped. However just as its figure finished expanding kranos appeared behind it silently.
Eternal hunger slashed forward at lightning speed, at this mont kranos was using ti to acelerate his movent, the instant his ti sword moved it had already slashed at the worm demon.
A low roar imdiately resounded, it sounded pained, kranos imdiately backed away, however he had confird his guess, the creature was indeed injured to the extent it dropped by one major realm.
Kranos was pleasantly surprised, however, on second thoughts, how could it be so easy to escape death? Even though the creature seed to have a sort of resurrection ability the price it paid must be similarly great!
At the sa ti the worm demon’s voice once agian resounded in the dark cave, "damn human! If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m injured I would have killed you with a single breath!"
As its angry voice rang out similarly multiple purple tentacles numbering up to ten erged from its body, they wriggled and pulsed with a dark light. Seemingly tracking kranos’ figure, they lunged forward at lightning speed slithering all the way.
Kranos felt his hair stand in end, even though the worm demon’s cultivation had dropped by one major realm it was still in the sa realm as kranos.
With a thought kranos’ figure vanished and he appeared beside one long tentacle, eternal hunger imdiately slashed it apart the mont kranos appeared, at the sa ti the worm demon imdiately realised sothing was wrong.
It didn’t feel it at first but now it had noticed that it’s lifespan was rapidly draining? It was shocked and terrified at the sa ti, if this continued, wouldn’t it turn to dust?
However kranos didn’t give the demon ti to think, and with a rapid succession of moves from eternal hunger, more than six tentacles had been smashed apart.
At this the worm demon imdiately retreated fiercely creating so distance between kranos and it. It didn’t dare get too close to kranos, the noise of the battle must have attracted the cultivators outside so in a matter of monts it felt kranos would definitely die.
However after waiting for a few monts it imdiately realised sothing was wrong, there was no footsteps approaching, not good, this masked cultivator must have done sothing to my puppets!
Coming to this line of thoughts it could only turn it’s attention to the only cultivator around. It noticed ko standing there dumbfounded, he hadn’t been able to reach in the anti while kranos and the worm demon battled.
It was only at this mont that he finally regained his thoughts. The worm demon’s voice also ca to him.
"join let’s slay this human together!"
At this ko could imdiately guess that the situation was bad, afterall if it wasn’t how could the worm demon who, despite being injured was still much powerful than him call for his help?
Without any hesitation he tossed the pill and imdiately ran away, the worm demon was imdiately furious, it glared fiercely at ko wanting to shred him to pieces however ko was already too far away, and it feared kranos might take advantage of the chance to attack it once again.
At this mont it couldn’t help but notice the ’nine serenities’ pill which ko had thrown away before he ran away, if it could regain it’s full strength it would be able to crush kranos to death in an instant.
