Just as he expected, upon hearing kranos’ words the eyes of the cultivators lit up, they felt this was their chance to finally defeat him, especially the lady that asked the question, she felt she could finally put kranos in his place!

Kranos muttered inwardly and before the lady could react she was froxen, the next mont kranos sword moved as fast as lightning, he imdiately struck her sending her flying a distance back. Although he could have knocked her out this fight was to hone his swordsmanship not to isplay his strength.
The others imdiately realised what happened and their expressions changed drastically, they couldn’t believe that the strongest among them was almost incapacitated in the blink of an eye, and... they stilll couldn’t see how kranos moved, they even felt for a mont that kranos used his space elent, but they eralised that how he appeared was vastly different from when he usually teleported.
It seed as though he had always been there and the lady just had to run straight to him, but of course they knew that wasn’t what happpened, they could only speculate in their hearts. Kranos didn’t give them the ti to think too much and idiately used another basic sword technique which had reached the expert realm.
With a horixantal slash he ssent a couple of needles that were sent towards him flying away, then he used a chop to cleave the spear taht was coming at him from a distance, even though he wasn’t actively using hism cultivation his physique which had been enhanced by his cultivation wasn’t sothing that the cultivators could compare to.
Kranos paused the two swordsn that were coming towards him then deflected their sword attacks. He then struck fiercely at them creating distance between them, at this mont warning sounds blared inwarly from kranos and without any hesitation kranos muttered inwardly, rewind!
As though everyone was moving backwards the ferocious lionheart sword attack that was aid at kranos’ head retreated along with thelady who sent out the attack, kranos imdiately turned around to face her and struck out with a stab, imdiately the hand which she used with the sword was injured, though kranos only gave her a slight injury which would heal in about a day’s ti, he still needed her to hone his sword techniques.
The fight grew more intense with different elents raining down and different attacks going about in the courtyard, kranos could feel pressured after all he wasn’t using his full strength but at the sa ti his comprehension of the sword techniqes was improving by leaps and bounds.
The way he transitioned between the ti elent and his swor techniques beca smoother and smoother, but he wasn’t the only one that was improving, the others had roughly began to guess kranos’ movent and could now block a strike or two from him before being sent flying.
After creating so distance between them kranos announced, "that is enough for today, go and digest your gains from the battle." after advicing them he tossed them 100 high grade mana stones. He then sat down on hsi mat and began cultivatiing, trying to correct the flaws in his cultivation techniques.
The others took their mana stones, looked at each other and walked away, kranos could faintly guess their thoughts, after all he too would have been surprised if he practiced a cultivation technique only to end up defeated by soone that used basic sword techniques.
Kranos continued absorbing his gains from the battle, at the sa ti he could feel that the condensation of the fifth golden core mark was in it’s final stages. Over the period of five months kranos had already broken through to the fifth stage of the golden core realm, because of the fact that he had watch over the cultivators during their battles he had to remain in peak condition sohe didn’t cultivate him ti elent for the an ti.
In the blink of an eye a month flashed by, kranos spent his day fighting against the cultivators, he even felt his sword techniques rapidly aproaching the profound level as though he had touched upon so truths but he couldn’t grasp it, it seed illusory for now, he didn’t dwelll on it, since he couldn’t grasp it now he would sooner or later grasp it.
In the an ti the cultivation of the others had improved drastically, two of them were now at the peak of foundation establishnt while the other two were slightlylower being at the eighth stage and seventh stage foundation establishnt realm respectively. There was also the lady with fire elent, who had stepped into the golden core realm, kranos praised her inwardly, she was truly a rare genius!
