The young man swung his spear, shattering all the silver needles hurtling toward him and sending their fragnts scattering in all directions. Without hesitation, he lunged forward, closing the distance between himself and the woman. With a sharp cry, he swung his spear at her waist, aiming to cleave her in two.
The lady was imdiately shocked and filled with rage. She faintly felt the feeling of death for a mont there, and she imdiately executed the movent techniques, appearing a few feet away from the man, creating so distance between them.
Her green Daoist robe fluttered in the air as she raised her hand. She thrust her hand forward, and in an instant, more than twenty needles flew out. They converged mid-flight and ford sothing similar to a shimring shield that surged toward the young man like a teor.
"This is bad." The man could imdiately see the crux of the problem: The needles had converged, and he knew if the shield hit him, he would definitely be pierced in different parts of his body. Besides, the attack was too fast; he didn’t believe for a mont that Kranos could save him in ti.
His mind moved rapidly, and he thought of a counterasure. Imdiately, his eyes lit up, and, gripping his spear tightly, he shot it forward. The ’shield’ was barely a few feet away when the spear rushed towards it at greater speed.
In the blink of an eye, the two weapons collided and both attacks were destroyed but just as the man sighed in relief, a gust of wind blew by... the next mont, his hair stood on end.
He felt sothing sharp prickling his neck. He turned around and saw that the female cultivator had unknowingly, at so point, appeared behind him in a gust of wind. At the sa ti, a needle was held in her hand, which pointed nacingly towards his neck.
If she wanted, in that mont, she could have killed him, he could faintly guess so things and had a rough idea of how he was defeated.
"Wind elent? How nice," Kranos praised from the side as he approached the two. They were both evenly matched, but because of the fact that the young lady possessed the wind elent, she was able to take her movent technique to a new level, while the young man, without an elental affinity, could only let his life be in her hands.
Upon seeing Kranos approach, both cultivators imdiately bowed in respect, "This disciple dares not accept the esteed one’s praise." The lady shook her head in response.
Kranos smiled faintly and tossed her a spatial ring. Catching it, she quickly probed its contents and gasped. Inside were three hundred high-grade mana stones. Her eyes widened in delight, and she couldn’t stop expressing her gratitude.
Kranos then tossed a smaller pouch to the young man, containing a hundred mana stones. "Cultivate more diligently," he advised.
Then he began to advise them on their cultivation techniques during the battle, "Young man, you seem to be fearful to head into the battlefield and engage in a head-to-head confrontation. If you were willing to endure so minor injuries to your body, you would have erged victorious in this duel."
Although Kranos wasn’t a grandmaster adept at cultivation techniques, he could roughly see the flaws in their battle techniques and the way they fought due to his high cultivation.
He then turned to the lady, "Although you did quite well in this battle, you only won due to your elental affinity. You should also cultivate a short-distance battle technique in the situation that your opponent closes in on you; also, try your best to maintain distance between your opponents and when they least expect it, attack them with all your might."
"If you had closed in on him before using that secret technique of the silver needles, he wouldn’t have had a chance to escape at all or use his spear to block the attack," Kranos continued, pointing out their inadequacies to their surprise. They couldn’t help but stare at Kranos, stunned; he had told them many things they didn’t even realize.
After Kranos was done, they imdiately bowed deeply once again, genuine respect blooming in their hearts. At this mont, they truly realized that Kranos actually cared for them, he wasn’t as heartless as they had guessed. After thanking him earnestly, they returned to their chambers, reflecting on his advice as they resud their cultivation.
As soon as they left, Kranos exhaled a breath of fresh air, after which he appeared beside the stool, took it, and appeared beside a tree in the courtyard the next mont. Seated under the tree, he continued his cultivation.
In the blink of an eye another two weeks had passed, and just as Kranos smoothly advanced to the third stage of the Golden Core Realm, he was interrupted by two cultivators. this ti it was the remaining two young n, one of them was fair with black hair, dressed in a blue turquiose robe and had a sword strapped to his waist, the other was dressed similarly and also had a sword strapped to his waist.
"A duel?" Kranos imdiately asked as soon as he opened his eyes and glanced at them, he also took the mont to study their cultivation realm; they were both at the fourth stage of foundation establishnt.
"Yes, esteed one," the two nodded. Kranos imdiately flashed and appeared at the edge of the courtyard, giving them the sa advice he gave to the two cultivators from before.
Imdiately, they both faced off, they seed to have cultivated similar sword techniques from the cultivation manuals. The fair young man imdiately drew out his sword and lunged forward, rushing at the man opposite him. He then swung his sword, executing the Fierce Slicing Technique.
With a swing of his sword, the air was sliced! The other cultivator, seeing this, imdiately withdrew his sword and slashed upward, executing the sa technique but from a different angle. Imdiately, a battle between both parties ensued. From their matched techniques and cultivation levels, Kranos surmised that this battle would likely end in a draw... except one party made an error, which would make them lose.
