A shadow flickered beneath the blood-red skies. The shadow’s eyes were hollow; however, upon closer look, one would notice that there was a spark in the eyes of the shadow.
"Finally at the Scarlet Moon Organization after three months of traveling!" Desmond said in a low, guttural voice. It sounded extrely hoarse, as though two tals were scraping against each other.
Glancing at the blood-red tower in front of him, Desmond’s figure flickered and appeared inside. The mont he did, three figures appeared, each of them wearing a mysterious black mask.
Their horrifying auras pressed down on him, and for a mont, Desmond felt he was closer to death even more than when he was fighting Kathryn.
Having no chance to resist the pressure, he quickly shouted in his hoarse voice, "It’s , Masters! Desmond!" His voice sounded like a struggle, not only due to his incomplete fusion of his special elents but because he was trying to endure the pressure as well.
"Desmond?" one of the black-masked n said in surprise. Desmond quickly recognized this voice as the Librarian, his master, whom he had studied under previously.
"Yes. I was able to survive Kathryn due to certain reasons," Desmond spoke vaguely, still unwilling to reveal his soul elent.
However, the Librarian, who had already discovered it a while ago, understood that this was one of the special abilities of the soul elent. With that, his eyes underneath the mask burned with greed.
However, he controlled himself. He had to let Desmond grow so more before harvesting him! Sensing that the other elders were also curious about how Desmond survived, he quickly changed the topic.
"Kathryn?" he was slightly puzzled. He didn’t recall sending Desmond on such a mission.
"Yes! I took the mission to discover Kranos’ secrets. However, Kathryn, the princess of the Elven Immortal World, interfered and almost killed ."
The elders were shocked. They could sense Desmond’s aura, which was in the Dao Palace Realm. They also knew how strong he was. How could Kathryn almost kill him?
"Desmond, tell us everything that happened."
"No, it’s not that I was weak, but I discovered that she is an... Anomaly!!!" Desmond’s voice almost sounded like a shout.
At his words, the elders were shocked, and their expressions under the masks were filled with disbelief!
"An anomaly? What kind of anomaly?" all of them asked frantically.
Desmond’s shadow nodded repeatedly. "Yes, Masters. I couldn’t completely tell what kind of anomaly she was, but I’m sure what I saw within her soul was a Heavenly Dao Engraving."
"A Heavenly Dao Engraving!" The black-masked n turned silent at these words. They glanced at each other and could see the emotions, which mostly contained... excitent?
An ethereal voice spread out from one of them toward the whole Scarlet Moon Organization.
"Pass down the order. An anomaly has been found. Whoever kills the anomaly will beco an elder of the Scarlet Moon Organization. All those below the Monarch Realm are forbidden from partaking."
The mont the decree was passed down, everyone was shocked. What did it an to beco an elder? One could only beco an elder of the Scarlet Moon Organization when they stepped into the God King Realm!
This was a transcendent level. The whole secret realm was in an uproar, and imdiately, countless figures flew out of their caves, courtyards, and so on.
The black-masked n glanced at each other, then nodded.
"You have done great rit to the organization. Your rewards will be decided when we’ve dealt with the Elven Princess."
As soon as the first black-masked man finished speaking, a large ship appeared midair. Everyone soon boarded the ship, and they set off for the Elven Immortal World. The ship was almost on the sa level as Kathryn’s starship, moving at the speed of light and capable of transcending space.
In re monts, it had crossed a few small worlds.
Desmond was also inside the ship. He glanced around for a mont, studying everyone before blending into the shadows.

A few hours passed in the blink of an eye. Just as Kranos opened his eyes slightly, he noticed a figure sitting beside him, staring at him as though she was deep in thought.
Kranos’s gaze remained on her for a while, and he faintly felt that she was... beautiful. He quickly shook his head. How could he have such thoughts?
She reminds of my granddaughter... Kranos overlapped the images of the two of them, and soon his thoughts began to wander to the past.
His breathing returned to calm. However, he still felt weakened—he could barely move his mana through his body. Kranos smiled wryly.
"What happened to ?" muttering a few words, he asked Kathryn, who was still lost in thought and hadn’t realized he had regained consciousness.
Hearing the weak voice, she was stunned for a mont before turning her gaze to Kranos.
"You’re awake?" she sounded joyful and elated.
"Yes, I am. Thanks. What happened to previously?" Kranos asked once again. He was curious—was it related to his soul?
"You were infused with the God Slaying Poison," Kathryn said after so hesitation. Noticing the change on Kranos’s face—a mixture of shock and puzzlent—she remained quiet.
"What is the God Slaying Poison?" Kranos asked curiously. He had never heard of anything like that before.
"The God Slaying Poison is a poison that, when injected, can kill even a God Realm cultivator," Kathryn replied.
"A God Realm cultivator?" Kranos was shocked and slightly terrified. Why would they inject him with sothing like that out of nowhere?
"Then how did I get healed?" he asked. For him to recover so quickly after being injected with sothing so deadly—it was definitely far from ordinary.
"About that..." Kathryn hesitated to answer his question.
Kranos noticed her hesitation and frowned.
"Tell what happened..." his gaze was solemn.
At this, Kathryn sighed, then explained, "I... I begged my father to give you so of the Elven Blood from the Heart of the World Tree. Even though it’s precious, since I’ve never asked him for anything, he decided to do this favor."
Kathryn finally said after a while of silence.
Kranos was imdiately shocked. He didn’t expect Kathryn to go to such lengths just because of him. Why is she helping so much?
Although Kranos was pleased in his heart to have soone care about him like that, he felt that there was sothing wrong with it... He still recalled she was an Anomaly and felt that there would definitely be sothing strange about her helping him so much like this!
