It was at the ntion of her daughter that Althea finally regained her stern look as she intensely looked around the room, examining everyone's expressions.

As one of the stronger S tiers there, her strength and attitude intimidated so of the weaker S tiers, and they were afraid to speak up their true thoughts. To them, they thought that Alex and Mira were a lost cause already, as if they were on the sa planet as A tiers or S tiers and were being pursued by them, then they were practically already dead.

The room quickly fell silent, with the murmurs of excitent and reverie quickly being replaced by the awkward atmosphere this question caused. Althea's sharp gaze passed over everyone, but particularly locked onto the person who had raised this question.

'At least soone here has so common decency.' She thought to herself.

"Yes." Althea spoke in a firm tone, commanding the attention of everyone present. "The primary concern is not just the threat itself, but ensuring the survival of the expedition team also. Mira's distress call was clear – they're in imdiate danger. If we don't act swiftly, we may lose htem before we even have a chance to face this enemy."

Principal Farnes, acting as a sort of father figure to everyone present with his authority and experience far outweighing everyone else present, stepped forward this ti. He knew of Althea's and Mira's relation to each other, and even though he wanted to rush over just as much as she did, he knew that due process had to be followed for sothing as urgent as this.

"Commander Mistborn," He started speaking, his voice calm and composed but clearly exerting his authority. "You've activated Red Alert based on this recording. Explain why you trust it without first checking the corroborating evidence."

Farnes did this in part because it was indeed as he had stated, Althea had jumped the gun basically, but also because that this wasn't just a decision he alone could make. There were over fifty S tiers participating in this montous operation in the Androda Galaxy, and each and every one of their support and cooperation would be vital to ensuring control and dominance in conquering the various areas they ca across.

In order to ensure the support of these people, he had to make sure that he also had their trust. If they didn't trust both him and Althea to make justified decisions involving the whole fleet, then this whole operation couldn't go as smoothly as planned.

Althea understood his intentions and t his gaze with her usual look.

"Principal Farnes, this is not just a recording. I know my daughter's voice, her tone, her words. Mira wouldn't sent a distress call unless the situation was dire. And if Alex is with her and unable to neutralise the threat to the both of them, then we're at least facing foes very powerful in the B tier, or even A tiers." Discover exclusive tales on empire

The room shifted, with Althea's reasoning now sinking into each of the S tier's brains who were still unsure of this whole thing.

Her rationale of Alex being just as panicked was enough to gain their trust, as Alex had already earned himself the reputation of an abnormal kid in the Federation.

He was a C tier that could sohow defeat higher lifeforms at the B tier, and strong ones at that. However, they were also convinced by Althea's words about Mira's authenticity. Mira ntioned dozens or even hundreds of B tier aliens in the ssage, which if turned out to be true, could potentially even be catastrophic to their entire operation in this system.

Even with their vast and expansive fleet spanning over 1 light year in diater, they only had around 10,000 B tiers in total, which they obviously couldn't mobilise all at once. So if they had to send out hundreds of them, then the potential losses could be catastrophic and not logically worth it just to take over this one system.

Farnes stroked his chin knowingly. "And the Private?" He gestured to Leon, who sat still as a log in his chair, afraid to even breathe loudly to not disturb the powerful gathering of S tiers. "What role does he have to play in this?"

Leon, realising he was now brought to the centre of attention in front of this extrely terrifying gathering of people, looked around nervously. "I- I'm just the ssenger, sir! I received Mira's ergency broadcast and tried to warn the fleet. My ship was compromised during my retreat so I couldn't send any communication, but I swear I had no knowledge of it until now! The data logs on my ship should confirm everything I've said!"

Admiral Olgierd, who stood nearby silently until this mont, finally piped up. "If the Jewel's systems flagged his ship as a threat, then it's possible the enemy is already probing us. If they're advanced enough to manipulate his systems without him knowing, they could be preparing for a larger scale incursion."

Althea nodded at his comnt. "That's precisely why I activated the Red Alert so preemptively, ti is precious and the longer we wait, the bleaker things look for us."

With everyone finally agreeing unanimously, Althea raised a hand to silence all discussions.

"We'll take a two pronged approach, first we'll take the primary team, consisting of , and two other S tiers who wish to join in on the action. Then, we'll have the secondary team, consisting of an A tier team leader and fifty of our strongest B tiers."

Althea's judgent for this rescue operation was based on the intel that Leon had brought back. With the realisation that a huge ship could have just entered the orbit of the planet, potentially carrying even more reinforcents or even stronger aliens, things could get very dicey very quickly.

Althea and the othert two volunteer S tiers would lead the fray against the strongest of the aliens, while the A tier team leader and his team would deal with the threats on ground.
