[Congratulations.]
Alex stared at the sudden string of words in front of him in confusion.
[Hidden Requirent completed.]
'Hidden requirent? What hidden requirent? What the fuck is the System trying to pull now??'
Alex was completely dumbfounded when he read the ssage.
He tried probing the System for more information, but it didn't budge.
All the information he had to go off of was that there was so Hidden requirent, and that he had completed it.
But he had absolutely zero clue what the requirent was for, nor why he had suddenly completed it out of nowhere.
However, sothing about this gave Alex the feeling that it was deeper than it seed.
For the first, and most obvious reason, the System had congratulated him.
It had never done this before when he had completed other requirents.
Which must have ant that sothing was special about this one. Perhaps it was of a higher difficulty? Or of a higher leve?
Or maybe it was just the System throwing him through another loop?
He could only wonder, since the System decided to be so stingy with its information again.
He wasn't stupid, either.
He tried checking his Details the mont he realise the System wasn't going to give him such an easy ti, but there were no changes to it from the last ti he checked them.

No ntion of any requirents other than what was already there, and no extra information showing up.
'Weird.'
All Alex could do was give up for the ti being, at least before he could gain so information on it.
'Perhaps there's so information on such events like this happening to other people across the Federation?'
The idea was the best he could go off of.
And it was a decent idea.
There was a whole galaxy worth's of knowledge on the galactic net that he could search, and while so of it may have been erased thanks to the constant attacks of the Red Demons and so crucial servers being caught in the crossfire, all of the key data was still there.
Why should he suffer having to find an answer to his questions alone when he had the entire wisdom of civilisation to piggyback on?
With this in mind, he pulled out his communicator and started searching.
At first, he just typed [Hidden Requirents] in.
'Data is protected…'
The first result he got was…
No result.
Well, there were results, but they were behind a confidentiality barrier.
'No wonder, I'm not logged in!'
After inputting his details to login and reloading the page, he was given access to the results this ti.
They were as follows:
'Hidden Requirents for Unlocking Rare Class Mods in Popular VR Gas.'
'Hidden Requirents in Quantum Algorithm Design: A study of Subatomic Complexity.'
'The Hidden Requirents for Intergalactic Vias Approvals.'
'Hidden…'
'...'
"All completely useless.'
Alex groaned.
Seriously?
Nothing useful at all.
The list of results carried on for a few hundred more pages, but they were all of the sa type as the first three he read.
He wondered why these would be protected behind confidentiality barriers, but didn't want to stress his brain out any more by thinking about it.
There could potentially be sothing useful in that endless list of results, but Alex didn't have the ti nor the capacity to go through each and every one of them searching, even with his thinking speed.
Instead, he moved on and tried a different search query.
[Hidden Requirents, Primordial Expanse]
This ti he hoped for better results.
Alex sighed as he hit the search button. His hopes were low but he still clung onto the last shred of optimism he had left.
The results loaded quickly, and his eyes scanned the first few entries.
'10 ways to Spot Hidden Opportunities in the Primordial Expanse (You Won't Believe #7!)'
'... Clickbait garbage.' Alex thought, rolling his eyes.
Next:
'Navigating Bureaucratic Hidden Requirents for Resource Claims in the Primordial Expanse.'
"Sure, because interdinsional red tape is what I'm looking for…"
Alex muttered to himself sarcastically.
That was obviously skipped.
'Is there really nothing about it? Nothing at all?'
Alex's doubts had practically reached a new high at this point.
He tried scrolling down but the results only beca more and more ridiculous.
He was about to give up entirely, before he decided to just give it one last try at narrowing down his search.
[I suddenly got a ssage from the system that said I t so hidden requirents, but I have no idea what they are.]
When in doubt, lay it all out.
Since he was getting nowhere by being vague, he decided to be as specific as he could.
This ti, Alex noticed that the loading icon spun for much longer than usual.
This was odd, considering in this day and age information technology had reached a point where load tis had practically beco nonexistent…
Eventually though, the page loaded itself.
1 result.
Surprisingly, there was a result shown on the page.
Alex was 90% certain that he would just get shown 'No Result', in which case he would really give up.
But it seed he was in luck.
With his curiosity piqued, he took a look at the title of the only search result that showed up from his query.
Curiously, it was marked as top secret, but thankfully Alex t the requirents to access it.
Otherwise, he would have been in even more despair at the suspense.
[Have you suddenly been sent a ssage about Hidden Requirents by the System? Click this to find out more!]
'...'
Another clickbait title.
'It's obvious bait, but the fact that it was top secret still gives faith…'
Alex went ahead and opened it up.
