Hours had passed since Lucian first began teaching Lily how to use the Thousand-Faces Skill.
Despite her propensity to cause chaos and mischievous personality, she was a diligent learner.
Many tis, Lucian even wondered if Fenwick did not have the ability to teach.
From the initial stemless Pink Begonia to a limbless, wingless 'butterfly, Lily had transford forty-seven tis. With each transformation, her progress was clear to see.
And now, standing in front of him, was the fruit of her hard work — a beautiful and equally cute young girl.
Pink hair fell to her waist and then curled outwards. Her pink eyes were large and bright. Her white legs were wrapped in pink stockings that extended just above her knees, and her arms, now shaped perfectly, were adorned with frilly pink arm warrs.
Her overall appearance was like that of a porcelain doll.
"You've done it." Lucian praised her.
"Hehe~!" Lily gave a delighted twirl, causing the edges of her frilly pink dress to flare up as she spun. Creamy-white thighs greeted Lucian's eyes, delighting him.
'Thighs.' He subtly licked his lips.
"Does this Lily look just as perfect as the real Lily?"
Lucian nodded repeatedly.
"Every detail is the sa." But then, Lucian paused, as a sudden frown appeared on his face. "Now, you'll have heads turning everywhere you go."
"Humph! Lily doesn't want slly n or won to turn their heads." Lily snorted and instantly changed her physical appearance to an above-average-looking brown-haired brown-eyed young girl, matching her real age of eighteen.
"Only Big Brother Lucian is allowed to see Lily!" She declared with a blush.
Lucian smiled, while, on the other hand, the System loudly exhaled through its nose.
"You two go find a room."
"We're in a room." They replied simultaneously, rendering the System speechless.
It wanted to rebut by saying to find a room for just them, but it realized, it would only be t with being kicked out of the room.
'A wise System knows when to keep its mouth shut.'
Even though it had that thought, the System still opened its mouth to say, "Host, you haven't fulfilled the other condition."
Lucian blinked.
"What other condition?"
He shalessly acted oblivious.
However, after feeling a poke on his waist, quickly followed up by a hope-filled gaze, he was left with no other choice but to drop his act.
Turning to the perpetrator, Lucian said, "Lily, did you co up with a good na?"
During his hour-long lengthy explanation, Lucian had inford her about the System's obsession with wanting a na.
"Lily has a na." Lily nodded thoughtfully, as she walked up to the Nine-Tailed Fox and reached out with her hands towards it.
The System hesitated but then allowed itself to be picked up and cradled in her arms.
"How about the na Nyx?" Lily asked as she gazed into the Nine-Tailed Fox's eyes.
"The Goddess of the night?" Lucian blinked, surprised.
"Feared even by Zeus — the king of the Gods." A smile blossod on the System's face.
Lily's brows furrowed in confusion.
"Big Brother Lucian, who is the Goddess of the night? And she's even feared by Zeus, the king of the Gods? I thought Big Brother Lucian was the king of the Gods."
After blurting out a bunch of questions, Lily tilted her head to her Big Brother Lucian.
A wry smile ford on Lucian's face.
"Of course, you wouldn't know the Gods from Earth." Lucian shook his head after realizing Nyx was most likely a na used on Arcadia. "Also… Zeus is the king of the Gods in Greek Mythology. Moreover, even though Ancestral God Lucian was the strongest Ancestral God, he was not the king of the Gods. At least, he never declared he was."
"Oh." Lily nodded, indicating she understood, before shaking her head. "Now, Lily likes the na Nyx even more! On Arcadia, Nyx is a gender-neutral na. It's not a popular na yet, but that's because it's a relatively new na."
"As do I!" The System nodded like a chicken… no, like a Nine-Tailed Fox pecking at rice, "From now on, I'll be called Nyx."
"Suit yourself." Lucian shrugged. As long as Nyx's condition was t, then he was happy. Nyx being happy was only an added bonus.
As the three were conversing, all of a sudden, a knock resounded, bringing everyone's attention to the door.
Nyx explained, "Host, it's thirty minutes to midnight."
Lucian nodded as he went to open the door and saw Lucius, who was kneeling respectfully with his head lowered on the other side.
"Master, it's ti for the 'trade'." He said, while still keeping his head lowered, not daring to glance inside the room where his Master's wife could be.
"Alright, wait outside with the rest. We'll be out shortly." Lucian replied as he closed the door.
True to his words, the door opened monts later, and Lucian stepped out, with Lily following closely behind. She was cradling Nyx, who had transford into a robotic kitten to not draw attention.
Lucian had spent that brief minute to patiently warn Lily of the importance and dangers of the trade.
As soon as Pei Buhan and the Bai Family saw Lily they hurriedly bowed and greeted her respectfully, "Welco Mistress Lily."
A deep scarlet swiftly covered Lily's face up to the tips of her ears. At the sa ti, she lowered her head and fidgeted with her hands before she mustered enough courage.
"Big Brother Lucian and Lily will be relying on you all. Please keep us safe."
"Mistress Lily, fear not. This old man will keep you safe with his life!" Pei Buhan shalessly boasted.
After eyeing the shaless old man with ridicule, Lucius said, "I will do everything in my power to protect both you and Master."
"He's just a Low-Tier Tendon Tempering Realm Mage. With us two and father, what can he do?" Luke snorted in disdain from the side. He could already imagine the scene of his father's friend lying unconscious in a pool of his own blood.
anwhile, Bai Shishi remained silent. Even now, he did not dare look at his Master, fearing he would accidentally gaze into his Master's eyes.
After gazing at Bai Shishi and marveling at the power of his Dragon's Gaze, Lucian laid out the plan he thought of so ti ago, "Nai Yulan expects to see only Bai Shishi, Lucius, and Luke at the abandoned alleyway. If he saw others, or worse, others lurking around, he might beco wary, and the trade would be called off. Worst case scenario, my existence might beco known to them. I doubt they would think that I planned to take them down, but they will at least be able to tell I have malicious intentions toward them. Also, my plan of having you guys infiltrate their gang would be as good as over."
The four servants all nodded their heads, and waited for their Master to continue.
"Moreover, to not get in your way, Lily and I will stay out of your sight."
"Master and Mistress Lily could never be in our way. We -"
Lucian raised his hand, stopping Luke's bootlicking.
"To avoid raising suspicion, we'll be acting like a couple out for a moonlit date," Lucian said then turned to Lily and gave her a wink, "Though I don't think we'll be acting."
Hearing his words coupled with the wink, Lily's face turned crimson and her heart raced with excitent.
'Our first date~. Hehehe~!'
However, as much as Lily was excited, she quickly realized she could not go out unprepared.
The first date had to be perfect!
"Lily will be right back," She announced suddenly, as she threw Nyx into Lucian's hands before rushing inside the room.
On the other hand, Lucian caught the little kitten, watching as she disappeared into the room with a wry expression.
After shaking his head with a faint smile, Lucian turned back to his servants. At the sa ti, his expression returned to indifference. He said, "Once Nai Yulan has been captured, Lucius, co find us and let us know. If you don't co looking for us after thirty minutes, we'll assu you guys were captured… and, well, if any of you die, I'll know. Needless to say, if things go wrong, don't expect to be rescued."
"Master and Mistress Lily's lives are far more important than our ager lives." Pei Buhan hurriedly said.
"Pei Buhan is right. If I don't co looking for Master and Mistress Lily after thirty minutes, please leave Alabaster City. Your safety takes priority."
"You don't have to tell twice." Lucian shrugged without a change in his indifferent expression. His and his Lily's lives were far too important.
"Master, you haven't told what to do." Pei Buhan suddenly said.
"I didn't forget if that's what you an to say. I have a special job for you." Lucian said as he walked up to the old man before leaning down and whispering a few words in his ears.
After Lucian finished speaking, he stepped back, leaving the stunned old man.
Only after a few seconds Pei Buhan recovered enough to speak, "Yes, Master. It shall be done."
At that mont, the door opened, and Lily walked out. Her long pink hair was styled into waves, adorned with a small, jeweled butterfly hair clip. She wore a light pink dress that complinted her warm, glowing cheeks.
Even though she looked beautiful, it was a far cry from Lily's real appearance.
'A true Yandere!.' Lucian nodded.
"Lily is ready for our date." She said with a shy smile.
