Then, without giving Grax a mont to speak, she closed the door on his face and locked it.
However, Grax was not angered by her tone or her disrespectful actions. Her refusal only added fuel to the fire. He liked them proud. It made their eventual fall all the more satisfying.
With one final glance at the closed door, he sat on the chair Orn previously provided him.
Grax was currently on shift to ensure Kaida did not escape. Of course, even if he was not tasked with guard duty, the likelihood she escaped the Ravenscroft territory was zero.

While toying with the dagger's sharp edge, a lustful chuckle escaped his lips, 'Then, I'll offer her another deal. One that she would've never agreed to, but now… heh, heh, she has no choice but to accept. Kaida, don't bla , bla yourself. You should have settled for being my temporary concubine, now, you can only settle for being my permanent slave.'

As the guests stared at the word, the atmosphere in the auction house grew tense. So of them felt a strange pressure emanating from the word, while others felt their heads spinning, forcing them to look away.
From the auction stage, the Chief Auctioneer, ng Ruo's voice rang out, "Ladies and gentlen, I am honored to present to you the next item — a Grade 1 Bloodline Appraising Turtle."
After ng Ruo finished speaking, the atmosphere in the venue grew slightly awkward. A few of the guests were even subtly frowning, but ng Ruo paid it no heed.

In the VVVIP Room, Lily's eyes lit up with interest and excitent. The turtle was exactly what her Big Brother Lucian wanted. It was a Grade 1 Magical Beast and even more so, it had a powerful Skill, perfect for helping him find rare and powerful Magical Beasts.
"Finally sothing good!" She whispered.
"Mn, this is exactly what Chef Lucian wanted," Garrett said, then continued via Voice Transmission. [Lily, rember to win it.]
[Don't worry brother, if it's for my Big Brother Lucian, Lily will never lose.] Lily replied, causing Garrett to feel two arrows penetrating his heart.
He was called brother, and his little sister's obsessive way of addressing Lucian was also too much for him.
"A Bloodline Appraising Turtle… is rare… but, sadly, it's a useless Magical Beast. It lacks offensive and defensive capabilities. However, that's not even the real problem."
Lily, Garrett, and the rest of the Lion's Liver mbers furrowed their brows in confusion.

But quickly, they realized no matter what Grade the so-called Bloodline Appraising Turtle reached, the turtle didn't learn the Skill. It's like the turtle doesn't even know it has a Skill, or so theorized the relic was a prank by a bored Mage. Therefore, it's a useless Magical Beast. Those who know about its truth stay away from it or use it as a pet. Other than that, it doesn't have any uses."
