[Innate Skill]: Taming |Trash-★( )|

Shane had forgotten the existence of his Innate Skill, which he obtained when he awoke his system.

And it was a Taming Skill at that!

He had never heard about an Innate Skill similar to his, but there were a few magicians who could summon tad beasts. It seed sohow similar, while regular tars also existed.

If he rembered correctly, these regular tars could ta beasts at a lower rank than themselves without further restrictions.

They could store their tad beasts and summon them as and when required. However, their combat prowess was weaker than their equivalent to the exact sa race in most cases.

As such, Shane started to wonder if the sa would happen to the beasts he could ta.

According to the information provided by certain tars, it took them a long ti to ta beasts and they were extrely proud of their own feat and the tad beasts.

Would he also need a long ti to ta a weak beast? If that was the case, he would have to catch a Low-Wild beast to test it out!

'A Shadow-snake wouldn't be bad, right?' Shane pondered. As he wasn't sure if taming would require much ti or not, he would have to be in a safe area in order to experint with his Innate Skill, and not within the territory of the Shadow snakes.

After thinking for so ti, Shane decided to purchase three things.

He paid 2 gold coins to purchase another Nightsight and concealnt potion and another 3 silver coins were used for a [Mortal(Trash)] leather bag. It was barely able to hold out attacks by Low-Wild beasts without tearing apart, as long as nothing sharp was used.

The Shadow-snake had only sharp fangs and they couldn't be effectively utilized in order to tear apart a bag.

As such, Shane would be relatively safe without wasting much of his wealth and he was still left with 20 silver coins.

With 28 minutes left until the potions' effects wore off, Shane continued with his plucking spree of Nightshade flowers.

He wasn't sure if he should venture to the main Nightshade flower field or not, because the possibility to et a [Shadow-Python] would be much higher and its strength ranged from

[Mid-Wild to Low-Elite] which was an extrely wide range.

Shadow-python was the most commonly chosen evolution path a Shadow-snake normally took when it reached its racial limit, while there were still so other rather uncommon paths.

According to Shane, the possibility of finding shadow pythons in the main field was higher than that of the outskirts as the darkness perated mana was thicker inside the main field.

Due to their slightly more advanced ability to conceal themselves in the darkness, Shane would have to be alert, even if he only skimd through the outskirts.

As such, he would at first, plunder the outskirts with their slightly smaller bunches of Nightshade flowers.

But even then, he would make a huge profit.

When the effect of his potions was almost used up with only one minute remaining, Shane gulped down the newly purchased potions, while childishly looking at his [Finances]

The most ti he had wasted, was to find the valley and to slowly descend without drawing too much attention to himself.

Now, as he looked at his profits while standing inside the valley's ground, he couldn't help but feel proud of himself.

The efforts he went through to evade the main field with its tens of thousand Nightshade flowers had been worth it.

His wealth had increased significantly, and he had already accumulated a small fortune of 3 gold coins and 38 silver coins with so spare bronze coins.

This could be considered a massive amount for soone who had entered the Primordial Dinsion for the first ti, but Shane was still not satisfied.

He had roughly crafted a plan for the next few months and according to this plan, more gold coins were absolutely needed.

However, in Shane's opinion there had to be a reason for the human race to avoid this valley, even though only a few adventurers visited the Soul-Onyx Jungle Dinsion on their own accord.

There was still the possibility that humans shunned the forest and only harvested the Soul-Onyx-Wood, but this chance was relatively small because the valley was surrounded by Soul-Onyx trees.

Because of his suspicion of the main field, Shane continued to plunder the outskirts even though he had to deviate from the initial path.

The heavy rain continued to pour down in a steady stream making matters worse for him. and once his potion had only [1H:30M] left, Shane decided to search his way back ho.

In the beginning, it was still easy to find the path he went but after five minutes everything seed hazy and Shane lanted about his stupidity.

'I knew I forgot sothing… It was already weird that I had so many gold coins left.'

As of now, Shane had accumulated 13 gold coins, 52 silver coins, and 60 bronze coins.

It was more than enough for Shane to continue with his plan but the first thing he had to do was to search for a way out of the Valley.

He knew he had forgotten sothing important and seeing the tracer with invisible markers inside the System´s shop as recomndations, soured his mood even more.

But lanting his situation wouldn't help him at all, and he decided to follow his gut feeling.

He could roughly rember the path he took and walking back would most likely work...partially.

Shane retraced his footprints on his way back and knew he was right. Though, in his haste to accumulate the nightshade flowers he had walked all over the muddy ground so he had a tough ti figuring out the right way. Thankfully, he was able to remain calm as the [Hunter's Mind] was fully utilized.

Shane took more than 10 minutes before he finally found the way to the top of the valley. Relieved, he started climbing up but he accidentally stepped on a smooth and slippery spot, where he stumbled a little.

He scrambled to find sothing to hold on to, but his hands went through empty air as he lost his balance and fell on his back.

As if that wasn´t enough, the soil below him seed to be loose. It gave way under his weight, taking Shane further down into the valley´s center, the very place he had wanted to avoid at all costs.

Cursing in his mind, Shane was about to stand up, when he noticed that he had landed directly into the Nightshade flower field. He saw a motionless black-scaled body with a length of more than one ter protruding out of the soggy ground.

'Ohh... please….' He thought and even though his mind was relatively calm and stable due to his fathers' lessons, Shane could hardly contain his feelings. It was only due to the [Hunter´s Mind] passive support, that he didn't shout out loud when he fell down into the main field of the Nightshade flowers.

The only positive thing, Shane noticed, was that the Shadow-Python lying right next to him appeared to be either in a deep slumber or most likely in hibernation.

If that was the case, he would be extrely lucky. He slowly stood up, trying to be as discreet as possible, while keeping an eye trained on the Shadow-python next to him.

He didn't forget to look around for other Shadow-snakes, but the most imminent threat was right next to him, and the rest could wait patiently for his attention.

Seconds felt like an eternity as he slowly proceeded to take his first step. However, Shane noticed the Shadow-Python move a little, causing droplets of sweat to appear on his already wet face.

Fortunately, nothing more happened and Shane slowly backed off, not letting the huge body out of his gaze.

When he had put enough distance between himself and the snake, he turned around.

Before anything could happen; Shane climbed up the sa tiny slope he had fallen down from, a while ago.

And [Artemis´ Blessing] didn´t betray him, as he found the path to the top of the valley that he had cut open previously, once he was able to stand firmly back on a higher ground.

The shock of having survived the short adventure was still there, and Shane wanted nothing more than to rush out of the valley as soon as possible.

Taking one firm step after another, Shane ensured that he wouldn´t slip another ti, as a single adventure like before was more than enough.

When his potion effect countdown reached 50 minutes, he reached the patch, where he had seen the tiny Shadow-snake previously.

At least, he thought this was the place as he looked around a bit before he spotted two yellow slits gazing at him, hidden beneath the muddy, loose soil.

While Shane peered closer to take a better look, a sudden idea ford in his mind with a sly smile erging on his face.
