Chapter 448: Enemy
The Creator had his own reasons for everything he had been doing since the creation of the Primordial Dinsions and the system. It had been an arduous task but it was necessary.
Unfortunately, his whole plan had gone awry due to the other beings that were supposed to be his allies but had betrayed him, driven by their envy.
This envy was unfounded because it was mainly focused on the fact that the Creator had been able to combine the system he had created with the ability to bind soone’s soul without letting them know.
It was, in fact, an inferior ability of the common soulbond without many restrictions, and the reason for the Creator to be able to drain a fraction of energy from those that voluntarily activated the system.
Nobody expected the Creator to suffer a loss by maintaining the system and Primordial Dinsions because the dangers he and other beings had been facing for a very long ti threatened the entire universe.
In the end, the Creator’s great plan turned into a failure, because only two beings had been able to accomplish the tasks given to them so far.
That ant only two beings out of the billions had the capabilities to face the opponent that was arriving.
The Creator was by no ans weak, but the foes that lurked in the shadows might be weaker than him, but their number was shockingly high!
Despite his plan having failed miserably, the Creator didn’t feel discouraged because his expectations had been too high, to begin with.
However, while the number of beings that accomplished his task was way below his expectations, their capabilities and talent was exceptional.
Having freed gane from the manipulations of her race, the Creator had done his job. Despite that, the young, yet scared halflings’ biggest issue was to learn how to trust others once again.
This was sothing she would learn over ti and the Creator believed that the young halfling would be able to make sothing great out of her existence.
Having survived childhood as a halfling was already a big step and possessing a perfect foundation could only help her future growth.
But that was not everything because gane was handpicked by one of the seven sins.
Because of that, the Creator was glad but at the sa ti, worried about the fact that he had given others the rights to create dungeons and secret realms inside the Primordial Dinsions.
The granted permission was only given to those who had helped him trendously, making everything he had established possible.
As such, the Creator had accepted the request of the ones that supported him, helping them in return to look out for promising successors.
In the end, the System and Primordial dinsions were by no ans ordinary, yet, at the sa ti, they were only the fundantal constructions, allowing weaker races to make the best out of the situation, only to be thrown into the real world.
Because of the current situation that was becoming increasingly difficult for the Creator to handle owing to the System and Primordial dinsions’ existence, he didn’t think of lying to Shane.
There was simply no need for him to do so, and the worst that could happen was that one of the two beings with a perfect foundation would die.
This was also one reason for the Creator to continue supporting the sustenance of his creations, including the Dinsion portals!
Shane’s origin planet was about to be destroyed and it was sothing inevitable if there wouldn’t be any interventions.
However, that was not sothing the Creator was supposed to do, and he never had the intention to do anything like that, to begin with.
There was only one thing he could do- giving Shane the sa present as he had given gane; granting a single wish.
That was the only thing the Creator could do without attracting the attention of the other beings that preyed on him as well as those behind the veil.
In the end, the Creator decided to share the whole truth with Shane, sothing he had not even given gane.
‘This will be my present to you. Thank your ancestry and the na you have been born with!’
With that thought, the Creator took a step towards Shane, who was deep in his thoughts, trying to piece together the snippets of information.
“If you want to understand everything, you’ll need more information!”
After the Creator said that, he raised his hand while releasing faint currents of mana.
However, those ‘faint’ mana currents were already manifold compared to the entire amount of mana his soul world was probably able to store.
Gulping down nervously, Shane could only try to suppress his emotions with his sheer willpower as the Creator’s index- and middle finger touched his temples.
“Don’t fight against the stream of information, just accept and digest it slowly!”
Shane didn’t know what was going on, or how the entire situation could have escalated like that.
Yet, a mont after the Creator had said his last word, Shane’s entire mind felt a stream of information slowly enter his body.
‘Isn’t that the exact feeling one has when learning skills or receiving the knowledge of cultivation techniques with the help of the system?’ He wondered, only to notice that the stream of information accelerated.
Shane’s finger stiffened and his lip twitched only a few seconds later as the steady stream of information seed to have turned into a tidal wave, flooding Shane with more information than he had learned in his entire lifeti.
He was not sure how much ti had passed, but when the Creator lifted his fingers from Shane’s forehead, the young man slumped to the ground.
“Organise your thoughts first. After that, you should be able to gauge the dangers the universe has to face.
The information I transmitted to you was only the basics, but I doubt that you can handle more for now…”
Ti passed slowly, and Shane’s mind that was filled with chaotic thoughts was only slowly adjusting to the information that flashed through his mind.
However, once he got the hang of the first snippet of information, Shane couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.
Apparently, the System and Primordial dinsions governed only a tiny fraction of the universe. This was sothing Shane had already figured out through the Creator’s words.
Yet, what Shane hadn’t realised was the fact that the Primordial dinsions were comparable to a tutorial with several stages. anwhile, the system was the tutorial guide that helped unlock the hidden potential within those that passed the tutorial to a certain extent.
And the vast expanse of the universe was considered the real ga, filled with the true dangers one had to face without the system’s help.
This included the fact that one would have to face opponents that were several cultivation stages stronger than those, one would face in the Primordial dinsions that had several restrictions.
But that was still not everything because the real threats were not beings inside the vast universe, but rather beings that had suddenly appeared out of a place they called [The Veil].
Shane didn’t know what exactly the veil was in the beginning, but the information in his mind was slowly arranging itself which allowed him to realise that the veil was in fact, shattered spots in the void!
This sounded illogical, and Shane was unable to comprehend most information.
He only understood that the shattered void ford connections between multiple universes, creating what the Creator and other beings that protected their universe had nad- the Veil.
As such, not only were the dangers from within the universe threatening the lives of countless beings, but even beings from outside their universe tried to invade, conquer and destroy them!
