Chapter 391: Rescue
The little Leviathan, Lili had sensed Shane’s presence the mont he had erged on Neptua ladra.
However, instead of sensing his strong life force and vigorous mana fluctuations, she realised that he was about to die!
Levi, the mother leviathan could also sense this, and she was about to erge next to Shane when she sensed that his family had already arrived to save him.
Despite perceiving that they were competent enough to save his life, Levi noticed that they had exhausted all ans possible to bring him back from death’s door.
As such, without hesitating, she decided to erge and help out Shane, whom she and her daughter both liked!
[What happened to Shane??]
She transmitted the question to everyone in the vicinity without a second thought.
This included Shane’s family, more than ten thousand Artisans, and the few thousand mbers of the Starlight guild who could hear everything.
A mont later, they sensed the presence of a terrifying beast approaching them from the ocean, suppressing everyone except a small space around Shane.
The mbers of the Astral Starlight factions couldn’t even breathe properly as a few mbers who had been in the training grounds had turned towards the nearest window.
“Oh my fucking god!!!” Jack, who was currently training the new recruits, exclaid as he saw how the gigantic head of a purple scaled snake broke through the tidal waves, roaring out as it gazed towards the nurturing grounds of the Astral Starlight faction.
With the seconds that passed, more and more young n and won saw the Leviathan and the horrifying pressure that lood over them.
The pressure increased the closer the Leviathan approached them, but weirdly enough, it didn’t release any killing intent.
Rather, one could sense worry within the pressure that was subconsciously released.
The entire beach had been flooded, and the sea level rose, almost reaching the elevation at which the nurturing grounds were situated.
It was only then that the tidal waves subsided while Levi had arrived just in front of Shane and his family, who were only a few ters away from the forr cliff of the Neptua Ladra region.
Shane didn’t notice anything around him because his mind and body had forced him into a state of coma where he was unable to do anything at all.
Recuperating was the most important and as a faint do made out of water manifested around Shane out of a sudden, his tense body began to relax.
A soothing calm spread through his body, while the do was slowly filled with highly concentrated mana.
In certain tales, Leviathans were considered the gods of snakes, and nobody was aware of what kind of existence the Leviathan truly was.
If John Stella and the circle of friends around him had known just how strong Levi truly was, they wouldn’t have dared attack her dozens of years ago!
Instead, they would have prepared to abandon the entire planet in fear that a single serious attack of the Leviathan might destroy the entire planet!
Fortunately, nobody had known about the Leviathans’ true cultivation base, otherwise, the current situation would have changed completely.
The atmosphere was tense, and John, who had wanted to take Shane back to his mansion, couldn’t help but stare at his son. He had the best dical equipnt that was even strong enough to slowly heal him and his friends from lethal injuries.
It was the first ti Shane’s aunts and uncles saw that John was truly worried about sothing, but this was also clearly indicating how lethal their nephews’ injuries truly were!
Only when the young Leviathan, Lili, erged from the water surface right next to her mother, did the entire tension subside as one could hear a faint voice reverberating through their minds.
[Mama, can you help Shane???] Lili had only sensed how dangerous Shane’s situation was and didn’t even care about anything else.
He had played with her in the past, and only recently his tad beast had been playing with her too.
Thus, Lili knew that they were nice to her which caused her need to help Shane only increase further.
[I will!]
The mont Levi had spoken out these words, she released a faint green gleaming aura from her ginormous body.
Shane’s body began to glow faintly in the sa light, and one could visibly see that his painful distorted expressions were slowly easing as the most deadly injuries on his body began to heal.
When John and the others saw this, they couldn’t help but feel fearful, thinking back on the ti they had attacked the Leviathan to scare it away.
“Did we just survive the fight against the Leviathan because it didn’t want to kill us??” Uncle Kai mumbled with a single tear streaming down his cheeks as he sensed that his nephew was out of danger.
His skin still bore the cuts, but the blood was washed away by the highly concentrated mana the Leviathan had manifested in combination with the water do, the mont she had arrived.
This revealed his entire body and the torn clothes that had been covered earlier by the thick layer of blood.
Only then did everyone, even those without knowledge about the severity of certain injuries understand, that Shane had been on the brink of death.
In the end, Shane’s entire body was gravely injured which even Shane wouldn’t have thought.
He had just wanted to give his best to fight against gane, and couldn’t even feel pain due to the passive skill [Warrior’s Heart]!
After his blood was washed away, Shane’s broken ankles were also visible while the gaping hole in his thigh and arm had been revealed causing everyone to frown.
“What kind of existence must he have fought in the Primordial tournant to end up like this?” Uncle Lars mumbled as Uncle Max added.
“The system’s announcent popped up a few monts before Shane had appeared here, right? Doesn’t that an he was in the finale?”
Everyone nodded their head, still unsure of what exactly had happened.
Only Talia, Cosmo, Umbra, and a few more people had the permission to use the Hidden Paradise to their heart’s content.
This included looking through the soul bound world’s portal to take a glimpse at what Shane was doing.
Thus, nobody except Talia and Shane’s tad beasts really knew what had happened.
“He must have fought the Dark Ice Elf, and looking at his injuries, Shane was forced to exceed his limits several tis, over and over again…
That only ans that the Dark Ice Elf is dangerous, and it seems as if Shane hadn’t exaggerated everything he had said…even the fact that the Primordial dinsions and System might cease to exist could be true…”
Upon hearing his father, everybody grew astonished, unsure what they should think about the words John had spoken out.
The system announcent didn’t say anything about the disappearance of the Primordial dinsions or the system that might suddenly vanish too, however, there was a certain clue that could hint to this.
This clue had been the fact that the system ntioned that the |Basic| Primordial dinsion was the *last* one!
Obviously, it could have a different reason, but if one were to add the intel Shane had provided, the situation looked much graver than everyone had expected.
At that mont, the Leviathan mother, who had heard everything, took note that Shane seed to know more than anyone else.
However, Levi knew even more than Shane did.
Despite that, she didn’t say anything either, and simply returned to the depths of the ocean when she noticed that Shane’s condition had drastically improved.
‘As long as Shane is here, nothing will happen…’ She thought, rembering sothing that had happened a very long ti ago.
‘Will he be able to weigh the responsibility of it?’
