Shock spread through Shane's body at this thought, and the more he thought about it, the more logical it seed.

The simplest reason for an advanced race to support the Dark Ice elves unconditionally would be the existence of sothing that belonged to both the Dark Ice elves and the advanced race, for example, an offspring of both races!

Maybe the woman was unable to endure the repulsive energies of two different races within her body like Princess Ilya.

However, that was not sothing Shane could know without asking, and the chances of him doing the sa were slim.

He couldn't just walk up to her and ask her questions hoping that she would answer honestly.

What he knew was that her purple eyes glowed faintly, while the black horns were sothing even variants of the Dark Ice elves, let alone mutants, shouldn't have.

Furthermore, she had a blessed state, which might as well be a trait of the advanced race.

There was also the thunder and darkness affinity the female Dark Ice Elf had!

Because of that, Shane grew more and more frustrated, thinking that she had even more advantages than him.

It was unfounded jealousy, fueling his anger towards the Dark Ice Elves race and advanced race that behaved as if other races were worthless.

'They're destroying entire civilizations, only to hide the fact that they're nurturing a halfling with an unknown amount of potential!?'

This made sense, to so extent if one were to think about it rationally without any hard feelings on the trillions of lives they had destroyed.

At the sa ti, it sounded ridiculous, but Shane could only shake his head in denial.

Just at that mont, he was called up to the arena, where he would face one of the opponents he was the least afraid of.

His mind was still thinking about the female Dark Ice elf, or whatever kind of being she was considered as, while explaining everything he assud to Talia.

It was possible that he would die any mont, and the risk quadrupled for him while participating in the primordial tournant.

Because of that, he instructed the mbers of the Astral Starlight faction to use the workshops and training grounds inside the Neptua Ladra region to manufacture goods and train their bodies, at least, until the primordial tournant was over.

The majority listened to him, but a few seemingly oblivious mbers ignored the well-ant advice and remained inside the Hidden Paradise, which was the decision they took on their own.

Shane was sure that he wouldn't die so easily, but he could be matched against the Dark Ice elf. It was sothing he wanted to avoid at all costs because he knew that he was not strong enough and didn't have a chance against her!

She was simply too strong, and Shane was aware of this, even if he had tried his best to stay ignorant to this fact.

Even the mana inside the Hidden Paradise couldn't help him, because the amount he would need to face her properly would rip him to pieces!

This was the disadvantage of his low mana purity with which he had to cope, and only his physique could be said to be at par with the female Dark Ice Elf after he had received his tad beast's amplification!

**

If Shane were to know that the Dark Ice elf, called gane, had not received a blessing from the advanced race, a part of her bloodline ca from, he would be astonished.

Rather, gane had received sothing from the depths of the calamity class dungeon, sothing that had changed her entire life, turning it upside down, making it even worse than it had already been before.

It was sothing dark, and the reason she would have wished to have never entered the dungeon inside the radiant mountain ring dinsion.

One could even say that it was worse enough to make her believe that her birth had been nothing but a mistake, that she must have done sothing wrong in her past life to deserve everything she had to endure in her current life.

That was because gane had obtained a sin!

This sin allowed her to forcefully control, annex, and devour the power she had been unable to control before, but at what price?

By gaining the power to devour everything, to beco stronger the more she devoured, gane had to give up on her emotions, on what she had believed, on everything she had wanted to protect of her personality, after being forced to do everything her family had told her to do.

It was cruel and she had reaped thousands of lives even before she could have activated the system, only to destroy her cultivation. She had been forced to start everything from scratch, to beco a perfect vessel that was stronger than anyone in the universe.

From the beginning, she had asked herself whether she was living her own life or a life that had been predestined by others, by those who wanted to make use of her unique existence.

In the end, the sin she had obtained was unsuitable for herself but perfect for the situation she was in.

gan was torn between two races that only wanted her talent, her strength, and that she annihilated everything bothering them, to obey them without exception.

It was as if she was both their personal assassin and slave.

The Sin was simply sothing that had been forced upon her both by the Dark Ice Elves, and the advanced race she also belonged to.

It was the [Sin of Gluttony, Belphegor]

gane hadn't received a description on what the sin would do, even after the system detected it.

This was sothing unheard of, but ti had made her realize that the Sin was the worst possible reward she could have found inside the calamity class dungeon!

According to her understanding, there hadn't even been a proper reason for the dungeon to force the Sin of Gluttony on her.

However, that was not the case because the reason was in fact simple!

She was the cause for trillions of beings to die and is destined to be the reason for even more deaths, only to allow her to be nurtured within the shadows, to beco stronger, to destroy and devour everything!

It was not even her fault, to begin with. She hated to have been born, to be the reason for countless beings to die, for others to suffer, but there was nothing gane could do about it.

Her mind had been forcefully altered since her birth from the external manipulation she had to withstand, but she had given her best to strengthen her will, to fight against the manipulations of both races she belonged to.

Despite every effort, it had been useless, and from the day gane had obtained the Sin of Gluttony that devoured everything, even her emotions that hindered her in becoming stronger, she had changed.

Killing had beco second nature to gane, and her strength increased steadily, while the number of corpses she had amassed continued to have a steep incline.

Every single opponent she killed made her stronger, while the aura of death looming around her was starting to manifest, perating the air, infesting the ground, devouring everything in its wake, only to beco a little bit stronger.

In the end, the only thing the old, headstrong gane had been able to do was to seal the last traces of herself in the deepest parts of her conscience, preventing the Sin of Gluttony, Belphegor, from devouring it.

This was her last resort to preserve the real 'gane', and everything that remained of her true self.
