He had used his utmost efforts to accomplish the third floor's task with the final rewards being two limitation crystals.

Having one limitation crystal was already good but two were simply great.
However, after he had cald down from his excitent, Shane was unable to decide what kind of item or manual he should target with the limitation crystals.

Thus, everyone who had lots of value points, turned into the target for those with few points who would try to hunt them.
Given the fact that one required 100 points to pass, and others would have less, there had to be a way to make up for the points they were missing out on.
This was where taking away others' points would co into play!
Estimating that one wouldn't voluntarily give away their previous value points, fighting against each other was likely to happen, and similarly encouraged by the fluare tower dungeon.
Thus, only the rule that killing was forbidden would prevent everything from turning into a massacre leaving behind only a few dungeon challengers alive.
Shane found the fourth floor's task interesting, but he would have preferred so rest too.
As such, he took a look around and sensed that every dungeon challenger had been teleported into a plain area that was in fact the center of the fourth floor.
Further away, Shane could see the crowded forest in one direction and a swamp, a mountain range, and desert region in the other directions.

A few minutes had passed, and they had already crossed a distance of several kiloters before Shane told Cosmo to stop using his spatial affinity for now.
"Ilya, I think you understood the hidden aning of the fourth-floor task, right?" His question was blunt and straightforward which might sound rude to others, but Princess Ilya was already accustod to Shane's behavior.
As such, she knew that he was currently not bothering about formalities because sothing else was more important; finding and using the most efficient way to clear the floor with the highest completion rate.
"Yes I did. It's similar to a battle royale, just without killing each other. Like this, everyone can make a coback until the period of 30 days is over!"

"We should rest for a few more days and take a look at the situation. There should be a few dungeon challengers who will form large teams in order to hunt the rest. This will probably cause the others to form teams too.
Because we can't trust anyone else, it will be best for us to stick to our small team of two. Well, we are four with Cosmo and Umbra, but still."
Princess Ilya was of the sa opinion as Shane before she said,
"Did you obtain a limitation crystal from the third floor's reward too? You also chose it from the Karn kingdom's treasury and were extrely overjoyed about it. After reading the description I understood that it's a treasure, but there should be restrictions and I think you will know them.
Please explain them to , so that we can make use of our rewards for this floor's task!"
As requested, Shane told Princess Ilya everything he knew about the limitation crystals, which seed to make her mood hit rock bottom.
From the looks of it she had been under the wrong impression that she could turn her mana purification technique to that of 100% which was sothing Shane would have loved to see too!
As this was not the case, Princess Ilya was unable to tell what item she wanted to improve.
It was only a few seconds later that she exclaid,
"How did I not think of the item I chose from the Karn kingdom's treasury!?!"
