"Master, I am going to the city to buy so ingredients. Please don't follow . Use this ti to relax," Kent said after freshening up.
"Who said anything about following you?" Saintess Selene chuckled lightly before turning and walking away.
"At least she won't be following ," Kent muttered under his breath before heading out. He found Uncle Drew, and before long, they departed from Alderford Mansion.
Standing by a window, Saintess Selene watched the carriage roll away with a complicated expression. A part of her wanted to follow him, but another part felt compelled to respect her disciple's wishes. In the end, she chose to trust him and returned to her ditation.
Kent, now en route with Uncle Drew, grinned as the tower confird Saintess Selene had decided not to follow him.
