A week later

***

[Location: Red-Pool City]

In the City of Red-Pool, there are no uncommon businesses, just like the rchant City of the Red Continent and the White Heaven of the White Continent.

These cities were renowned for their business mindsets. Whether it’s legal or illegal.

It was a free city where citizens could sell and purchase any item without fear of discrimination or arrest warrant.

While you’re in these famous cities. Whether you are a hardened criminal wanted by everyone.

As long as you stay in these cities. You will be a free man.

This was why many who rented apartnts in these cities were criminals escaping from their fates.

Even with the knowledge of their cris. Authorities of Red-Pool City would still turn a blind eye.

As long as they did not break the rules of the City. They were free to live for years without discrimination.

It was nightti and yet the streets still remained busy.

So shops still remain open even at midnight. In this City, there are no cris.

It has the lowest murder rate in the whole of the Purple Continent. It was the safest haven for everyone.

But even so, the cri rate was never zero. It’s just that those cris were too hidden for the authorities to see.

Too secretive that it was never reported in the first place.

And this was going to be one of the few cases.

~~~
Inside Red-Pool, there are various types of taverns and nightclubs; this was one of the most outstanding. The tavern was ablaze with light and laughter.
It’s the wooden signs creaking in the wind outside. Inside, the patrons were rrymaking, their tankards of ale and mugs of ad clinking together in a joyful toast.
The fire pit in the centre of the room was roaring, casting a warm glow over the crowd.
Minstrels played lively tunes on their instrunts, and people were dancing in the aisles.
Their feet stomping on the rhythm.
Tables were laden with a feast, including roasted ats, stewed vegetables, and fresh bread.
The air was thick with the sll of roasting at and freshly baked goods. Patrons were laughing and chatting, their faces flushed with good cheer.
"He-he-he-he-he, It’s been ten thousand years since the last legendary era occured, a new era is coming" A voice resounded from the crowd, laughing heartily.
"Yes yes....I’m aware of that, who do you think will be the conqueror of our era? I hope it won’t be a Red bastard" A lady asked.
"The last conqueror, Great Principality Supre Conqueror was a Redman, I believe the next conqueror might be from either our Purple Continent, the Black Continent or the White Continent" An old drunk spoke, gulping down from his beer mug.
"No no, Crazy Demon Supre Conqueror was a Whiteman, we need a Conqueror from our Purple Continent" Another interjected.
"We really do, if we did....those accursed Reds won’t even dare challenge our authority and besides which mystical race will be extinct this ti?" Another asked.
"Eh? Mystical race? You’re talking about the Dragon’s extinction right?" A question was asked.
"Yes yes, back then Northern Immortal Supre Conqueror dealt with Undead race, Crazy Demon Supre Conqueror dealt with the Angel race"
"And even the last conqueror, Great Principality Supre Conqueror wiped out the Dragons, which race do you think will be purged this ti?" The lady asked.
"Well it might be the Vampires this ti, if it’s a Purpleman Conqueror, it might even be the Reds hahahahahaha" the others followed as they laughed at the old man’s jokes.
"Cheers to the new era" The old drunk raised his beer mug into the air, filled with excitent.
"Cheers"
The atmosphere was lively, with people having a good ti, and the night was young.
But not everyone was in a happy mood. Specifically him.
Standing behind the counter was a young bartender, who wore a gentle smile, yet his heart was etched with fear.
His purple hair radiated with the light but each ti he worked. He feared for his life, he feared they may co for him.
Why?
Because he’s not a Purpleman but a Redman. One of the seven spies hidden in Red-Pool City.
His na was Jordan, and it’s been a week since it started, one after the other....the magical connections he had with the other spies were thinning.
More and more spies vanished without a single trace. He was confused, overwheld with fear of being exposed.
He has already contacted the Red Continent to report this unprecedented occurrence.
But he couldn’t hope for any support. It took the Red Continent six good years to devise a ans to infiltrate the Purple Continent.
Now that their presence has been exposed. It will even take longer, they had to preserve their strength.
Their spies needed to be inactive.
But the sudden disappearance of their sleeper cells was shocking. Jordan knew how hidden those sleeper cells were.
How could they have been found so easily?
How could they have disappeared without a single trace?
Just when he thought about this, another ca into the tavern with a gentle smile, behind him was soone whose presence caught everyone’s attention.
How could they not notice soone like her?
Even though she had her mask on. She still gave the aura of a Sword Level, Sword Grand Master.
While the entity she escorted had nothing on him. This was because Caden’s Mana Core is still sealed.
And he also wanted to look even more ordinary, they were both seen walking through the tavern.
"Are we sure we are in the right place?" Alyssa asked with a whisper, Caden’s eyes glead "That’s correct" He nodded.
He was the one responsible for the disappearance of the six spies hidden in Red-Pool City.
After a day of resting. He’s hunting the seventh and the last spy, who was guided by the Primordial System.
Just when he faced the bartender who stood behind the counter. His eyes flickered with ferocity.
[Reporting....]
[Last Redman Spy has been identified]
[Task Report: 6/7]
[Only one remains to complete the task]
[Leveling Point: 90/100]
"Gotcha" Caden’s lips curled into a faint smile at first when he received the report that there were Redn spies still hiding in Red-Pool City.
Caden ca to understand why the Red Continent’s information about him was at a fast pace.
There wasn’t even only one spy hidden. There were seven in total, all delicious als for him to climb to the next level.
Even though he knew he was being used by the system. It was still extrely beneficial to him.
After all, the Primordial System is the fastest way for him to grow stronger.
"He’s the one", Caden secretly transmitted. Alyssa glanced at the bartender for a second before looking the other way.
Caden was the one who approached the bartender, his gentle smile broadened even more.
The bartender gulped, swallowing his saliva "Greetings custor, please may I know what wine you would like?" He asked.
Caden nodded as he sat on the wooden stool placed before the bartender’s desk, he softly exhaled.
"I won’t lie, my wife and I are just returning from a rcenary work, and we would like to have so delicious wine"
"I’ll pay you any amount, just get the best wine you have, I know it’s not here" Caden said.
The bartender Jordan imdiately nodded, "Please excuse , I’ll go get the most expensive and delicious wine" He said with a smile.
Turning his back to leave the scene, he went inside the private areas of the tavern.
Seeing that, Caden glanced at Alyssa, and they gave each other signals, and with that, Alyssa vanished.
Her disappearance was strange but nobody suspected anything. It was a blissful and party mood after all.
With a crowd dancing on the stage.
anwhile, inside the private area, Jordan walked into a room, where a collection of expensive wines was kept by the tavern.
He quickly grabbed the most expensive wine they had. Turning his back to leave, his heart skipped a beat.
Flustered by the sight of Alyssa who stood before him, he staggered back in shock "Who...who....who are you?" He stamred.
His hands quivered and the wine bottle slipped, crashing on the ground and spilling the delicious wine.
But Alyssa stood unwavered. Without a hint of emotion in her heart, she has no hatred towards the Reds.
Even during the legendary immorial era. The Conqueror of that era, with whom she fought, was a Redman.
Even so, she couldn’t care if the Reds burn. All she needed to do was follow the commands of her master.
Alyssa took a step forward, Jordan scread out "Don’t co close to , please don’t co close to " He could be seen sweating profusely.
Alyssa softly exhaled, "No hard feelings, child, this is my master’s command," She whispered.
She was quick, moving at lightning speed as she stabbed his neck with a syringe, injecting black content into his body.
After hearing her words, Jordan’s body shuddered, he stumbled back. His eyes widened in shock "Are you the one who took out the..."
"No I have to report to the Red Continent...." Jordan tried to look for a way to escape.
But before he could move an inch. He lost his footing, staggering back as his eyes blurred.
He could hear his heart racing fervently, collapsing on his knees, and both his eyes and ears bled.
He collapsed on his knees, his eyes blurred as his body quivered.
Seconds later, the world of Jordan turned dark.
