Suddenly, a deafening voice bood from the city gates, shaking the very souls of those present. "All idle demons, be silent!"
The sheer power of this voice caused the gathered demon gods to tremble. An oppressive divine aura descended upon them, making it difficult to breathe.
Turning their eyes toward the city gate, they saw a massive three-headed demon dog, its fierce eyes scanning the crowd. Its very presence radiated aggression and authority.
"Who is that?" a demon god asked curiously.
"Be careful," an older demon god whispered. "That's a Three-Headed Demon Hound. It's an overlord-level demon god—its strength is extraordinary. In the past, so demon gods tried to cause trouble in Chaos City, but they were devoured alive by it. You must not provoke it. If it finds a reason to act against you, it will not hesitate. It has a terrible temper and great authority as the gatekeeper."
"A gatekeeper?" A newly arrived demon god was stunned. "An overlord-level demon god is guarding the city gates?"
"Heh, guarding the gate is the least of it," the veteran demon god sneered. "Before the 90th epoch, nine overlord-level demon gods tried to wreak havoc in Chaos City. Do you know what happened? They were swallowed whole by the Chaos City Lord, leaving not even a trace of their existence."
The gathered demon gods felt a chill down their spines.
"The Three-Headed Demon Hound was late to the scene and escaped death, but the City Lord still punished it. Now, it is bound here as the gatekeeper until it repays its sins. Do you think it would be in a good mood?"
Hearing this, the new demon gods were utterly dumbfounded. The thought of an overlord-level demon god—one capable of ruling its own domain—being reduced to a re gatekeeper was shocking.
"What kind of being is the Chaos City Lord?" soone asked.
"The Lord of Chaos City is the Primordial Ancient Serpent, a being of imnse supernatural power," the veteran demon god explained. "Since it is the ruler of this city, we respectfully call it the Chaos City Lord. No one dares to speak its true na lightly."
"I see..."
The newly arrived demon gods nodded in understanding, their curiosity about the Chaos City Lord growing stronger. If this entity could suppress overlord-level demon gods so effortlessly, its power must be beyond imagination. Listening to its teachings would undoubtedly bring them imnse benefits.
"Move along! Stop dawdling here!"
The Three-Headed Demon Hound's voice rumbled through the air. "You're annoying ! Get inside and don't disturb my sleep!"
A veteran demon god imdiately responded, "Hurry! The Three-Headed Demon Hound seems to be in a decent mood today. If we delay, it might beco irritated and make things difficult for us."
Hearing this, the new arrivals wasted no ti and rushed toward the gates.

One by one, the demon gods entered Chaos City.

Suddenly, the Three-Headed Demon Hound roared once more. "How many tis must I repeat myself?! You must assu human form before entering Chaos City! Do you wish to die?!"
"What?!" The demon gods were stunned. They hadn't expected such a rule.
"But... I don't know how to transform into a human form," a chaos demon god said hesitantly.
"Then get lost!"
The Three-Headed Demon Hound's furious voice shook the air. With a single burst of its terrifying aura, it sent the untransford demon gods flying, blood spraying from their mouths as they crashed into the ground.
Seeing this, the remaining demon gods paled in fear. They had no doubt about the Hound's power. Even among overlord-level demon gods, its strength was formidable.
Without hesitation, they hurriedly shifted into human form, compressing their size and entering the city in an orderly manner.
"Heh, a bunch of weaklings," the Three-Headed Demon Hound scoffed, watching them scurry inside.
Though it was bound to this gate, unable to leave until its punishnt was lifted, it still found satisfaction in bullying new arrivals and occasionally devouring those who refused to obey the rules.
