The new [Anima Crucible – Tier 1] was an impressive sight. It was in a dedicated, circular alcove off the main hub of [The Veiled Path]. It was a raised platform of polished, night-black obsidian, easily ten feet across. Intricate silver and deep crimson runes, similar in style to the ones in Kharonus' Crucible but filled with a constructive, binding energy, pulsed with a soft, internal light across its surface. The air around it thrumd with a quiet, expectant power. It was a focused concentration of the Sanctum's ambient Essence, especially the new 'Soulfire Tempering' resonance, which seed to give a subtle warmth and vitality to the Crucible's energies.

For almost a full day, I stood before it, just thinking. The Obsidian Stormwarder Sentinel (Mark II) was a formidable guardian. Its imposing presence was a constant reassurance as it patrolled the Sanctum's periter. My [Aura of Cindered Dominion] grew more intuitive, more responsive with each practice session in the ditation Chamber of Attuned Flow. Kaelen, energized by the enhanced Essence Font and the general uplift in the Sanctum's vitality, was a blur of playful shadow and starlight. He'd occasionally bring small, 'hunted' dust motes with pride. Jeeves, with his usual quiet efficiency, was already exploring the enhanced capabilities of the 'Standard Grade' Alchemical Station and Runescribe's Lectern, ticulously cataloging new potential concoctions and runic arrays.

But my mind was on the Anima Crucible, and the potential it represented. A second soul-tethered companion. The Pri System had decided my S Soul Strength and S-Grade Soul Gate were strong enough to support another such bond. The question was, what kind of Anima did I need? What type would best complent our current team?

Jeeves was the king of versatility: a deep scholar, a logistics expert, a dostic manager beyond compare, and a terrifyingly precise Shadow Guardian in combat. Kaelen was a master of hit-and-run tactics, shadow manipulation, and disruptive starlight attacks. The Sentinel was an unyielding wall, a mobile fortress of defense and ranged elental power.

I, myself, was evolving into a more adaptable fighter, capable of potent Soulfire attacks, precise spellcasting, and agile lee with [Shadow-Weave Stride]. But none of us were truly dedicated frontline tanks, designed to wade into the thick of battle and soak up or dish out overwhelming direct physical punishnt. Kaelen was too fragile for sustained fights, Jeeves relied on finesse and stealth, and I was more of a versatile striker and area controller.

My gaze drifted towards the [Guardian Forge – Tier 2], the [Standard Grade Alchemical Station], and the [Runescribe's Lectern]. These facilities, significantly upgraded when the Sanctum hit Level 3, represented a vast potential for crafting powerful equipnt, potent consumables, and intricate enchantnts. A potential that, if I were honest with myself, was largely going unused.

I was a cultivator, a new Soulfire master, a survivor. I was not, nor did I realistically see myself becoming, a master artisan, alchemist, and runescribe all at once. Each of those skills required years, decades even, of dedicated study and practice to achieve true mastery. I simply didn't have the ti, nor, frankly, the interest, to dive so deeply into every crafting art. My path lay elsewhere. These magnificent facilities, a core part of my Sanctum's growth, felt almost wasted.

The ideal second Anima, then, would need to fill two distinct roles. Firstly, a dedicated crafter — soone with a natural talent and passion for using these advanced facilities to their fullest potential, arming us, supplying us, enhancing our abilities through their art, perhaps giving the elves a much-needed boost to their gear. Secondly, and perhaps more urgently, we needed a frontline presence. A warrior. Soone who could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Sentinel, or even charge ahead, breaking enemy formations, a durable force of nature.

Could one Anima be both? A scholarly warrior-artisan? It seed like a lot to ask. The soul-echo imprints that ford the basis of Anima appeared to often be specialized.

"Jeeves," I mused aloud, pacing before the Anima Crucible. "My intent for this next Anima is twofold. We require a master artisan, capable of fully using the Sanctum's enhanced crafting setup. And we require a dedicated vanguard, a warrior to spearhead our fights and absorb direct attacks."

Jeeves, who had been ticulously recalibrating a delicate glass tube at the Alchemical Station, paused in his work. He turned, his silver eyes thoughtful. "A challenging combination of archetypes, Master. The focused, introspective nature often associated with high-level artisanship can be at odds with the overt, aggressive tendencies of a frontline combatant. However, the Pri System's Anima forging process is based on soul-echo resonance. If a suitable progenitor echo exists that embodies such a duality, or if your own soul possesses underlying affinities that could bridge such different concepts, it is theoretically possible."

His words gave pause. My own soul… rated S . What did that truly an for the Anima I could manifest? Was it just about power, or did it also influence the nature of the souls drawn to my call?

With a deep breath, I stepped onto the Anima Crucible. I focused my will. My S Grade Gate flared as I channeled my Mana into the obsidian platform. The runes on its surface blazed to life, casting intricate patterns of crimson and silver light across the alcove. The air thrumd, the Sanctum's 'Soulfire Tempering' resonance filling the Crucible with a potent, vitalizing energy.

I projected my intent, my desire, into the swirling energies: "A crafter of skill and passion. A warrior of strength and courage. One who can shape the raw materials of this world into tools of power, and one who can stand unyielding in the face of our enemies. Co forth!"

The light of the Anima Crucible intensified, becoming almost blinding. A vortex of pure, condensed Essence ford above the platform, drawing power directly from my soul and the Sanctum's core. It pulsed, once, twice, and then, with a sound like a distant, triumphant roar and the chi of a thousand tiny bells, the light coalesced.

Not into one figure, but two.

My jaw nearly dropped. Standing before on the Crucible platform were two distinct figures, both vaguely human-like but clearly having lion features. Their forms shimred, solidifying rapidly.

The first was… massive. Easily seven feet tall, with a body that scread colossal, brute strength. His muscles were thick and powerful, covered in short, tawny fur that deepened to a rich, golden brown around his powerful neck, forming a dense mane. His face was distinctly feline, with a broad nose, powerful jaws, and piercing, golden eyes that blazed with an almost manic, joyful light. He wore simple, rugged leather breeches and bracers. In one massive, claw-tipped hand, he clutched a claymore that looked almost too large to be wielded by anyone less than a giant — a brutal slab of dark, unadorned steel. The mont his form fully stabilized, he let out a deafening, earth-shaking roar that echoed through the Sanctum.

"I AM REXXAR! POINT TO YOUR ENEMIES, MASTER, AND I SHALL FELL THEM WITH A SINGLE, GLORIOUS STRIKE! THEIR SKULLS WILL BECO MY DRINKING CUPS, THEIR BONES THE DRUMSTICKS FOR MY VICTORY SONG! RAAARGH!" He punctuated his declaration by slamming the poml of his claymore onto the obsidian platform with a resounding crack, narrowly missing his own foot. A shower of sparks erupted.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not ant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

My eyebrows shot up into my hairline. Beside , Jeeves' usually impassive expression twitched. A flicker of sothing that might have been astonished disbelief crossed his silver eyes. Kaelen, startled by the sudden roar, had puffed up his fur and was hissing softly from behind my legs.

Then there was the second figure. He was the absolute opposite of his… twin? He too had lion features, but he was slender, almost delicate, maybe a foot shorter than his loud counterpart. His fur was a lighter, sandy blonde, and his mane was thinner, almost scholarly in its neatness. He wore spectacles perched on his feline nose. His large, intelligent amber eyes were wide, darting around the Sanctum with an expression of utter, unadulterated fascination, completely oblivious to his brother's dramatic pronouncents. He clutched a thick, leather-bound to to his chest as if it were a sacred object.

While Rexxar was still bellowing about imminent glorious slaughter, this second lion-man had already stepped off the Crucible, his gaze falling upon the [Guardian Forge – Tier 2]. His jaw dropped, his spectacles nearly sliding off his nose. "By the Shaper's Sacred Anvil…" he breathed, his voice a hushed, reverent whisper. He scurried over to the Forge, his clawed fingers tracing the intricate runes on its surface. "The energy matrix… the containnt fields… the refinent potential! And is that… a Tier 2 Alchemical Station? With phase-distillation capabilities? And a Runescribe's Lectern that can handle multi-layered inscription matrices? Oh, glorious, glorious day!" He seed to vibrate with sheer, nerdy excitent, completely ignoring Rexxar, , and Jeeves.

I stared, utterly dumbfounded. Twins. I'd asked for a crafter and a warrior, and the Essence, in its infinite, mysterious wisdom, had given … this. A berserker powerhouse who seed to have a shaky grasp on subtlety, and a timid, scholarly artisan who looked like he might faint if soone raised their voice too loudly — which his brother was currently doing with great enthusiasm.

Rexxar, having finished his initial series of battle cries, finally noticed properly. He dropped to one knee with surprising speed for his bulk, his massive claymore planted point-down before him. "MASTER! YOUR HUMBLE SERVANT AWAITS YOUR COMMANDS! SHALL WE BEGIN THE CONQUEST OF THIS REALM AT ONCE? I SENSE MANY FOES AWAITING THE KISS OF MY BLADE!"

The other twin, whose na I didn't yet know, was now practically hugging the Alchemical Station, murmuring about reagent purity and catalytic converters.

[ALERT: ANIMA FORGING COMPLETE. DUAL SOUL-ECHO RESONANCE DETECTED AND MANIFESTED.]

[Anima Designation: Rexxar – The Unbreakable Fury (Warrior/Berserker Archetype)]

[Anima Designation: Leoric – The Erudite Artificer (Crafter/Scholar Archetype)]

[Soul-Tether Established with User Eren Kai.]

Stats for Rexxar began to fill my vision:

NA: REXXAR (SOUL-TETHERED ANIMA)

CORE ATTRIBUTES (Initial Manifestation):

SOUL STRENGTH: S (Imprint)

SOUL GATE INTEGRITY: Grade B (Imprint)

ESSENCE MANIFESTATION:

BODY: 515 (Tier 5)

MANA: 385 (Tier 3)

SPIRIT: 395 (Tier 3)

KNOWN SKILLS (from Echo): [Claymore Annihilation Arts (Epic)], [Berserker's Rage (Epic)], [Indomitable Resilience (Rare)], [Battle Roar (Uncommon)], [Intimidating Presence (Uncommon)]

A gasp nearly escaped . Rexxar's Body attribute had breached the Tier 5 threshold — a level of raw physical power that dwarfed my own current standing. His Mana and Spirit, while still formidable at the very peak of Tier 3, clearly paled in comparison to his sheer brawn. He was a dedicated engine of destruction, a true frontline monster.

Leoric's stats appeared next:

NA: LEORIC (SOUL-TETHERED ANIMA)

CORE ATTRIBUTES (Initial Manifestation):

SOUL STRENGTH: S (Imprint)

SOUL GATE INTEGRITY: Grade B (Imprint)

ESSENCE MANIFESTATION:

BODY: 290 (Tier 2)

MANA: 495 (Tier 4)

SPIRIT: 420 (Tier 4)

KNOWN SKILLS (from Echo): [Masterwork Forging Principles (Epic)], [Alchemical Synthesis Mastery (Epic)], [Runic Inscription Theory (Epic)], [Material Analysis (Rare)], [ticulous Dexterity (Uncommon)], [Encyclopedic Knowledge – Crafting (Uncommon)]

Leoric was, as expected, Rexxar's opposite. His Mana was exceptionally high, nudging the upper limits of Tier 4, perfectly fueling his crafting work and any potential spellcasting. His Spirit was also solidly in Tier 4, supporting sustained ntal focus and intricate work. His Body, however, was at the higher end of Tier 2, aning a clear lack of physical strength but still capable of basic self-defense — assuming he wasn't too engrossed in a blueprint to notice danger.

The System's logic was clear: one Anima specialized in overwhelming physical might, the other in profound ntal and energetic sharpness. While their primary attributes were a Tier apart, their secondary stats were kept within a closer range, maintaining a semblance of internal balance even in their extre specializations.

"Why," I finally managed to say, addressing the Pri System interface in my mind, a note of genuine confusion in my tone, "do I consistently manifest Anima with such strong eccentricities? Jeeves is a picture of formal competence, but even he has his unique quirks. Now… them." I gestured vaguely towards the roaring warrior and the enraptured scholar.

The familiar, clinical blue text of the Pri System responded instantly:

[Anima manifestation is a complex process influenced by multiple variables. The primary catalyst is the 'Progenitor Soul-Echo' selected or attracted during the forging. However, the 'Origin Soul' — in this instance, User Eren Kai — acts as a significant resonant lens, subtly shaping and amplifying certain latent traits within the chosen echo. The resulting Anima's core personality and behavioral patterns are thus a synergistic amalgamation, reflecting aspects of both the progenitor echo and the unique spiritual signature of the Origin Soul.]

I blinked. My unique spiritual signature. The System was, in its own detached way, telling this was my fault. My S Soul Strength, my journey through chaos and overwhelming odds, my own blend of ruthless pragmatism and occasional impulsive decisions… it was sohow… … that was leading to these larger-than-life personalities. I wasn't sure whether to be horrified or amused. Probably a bit of both.

Rexxar was now attempting to teach Kaelen a "proper battle stance," which involved much roaring and dramatic posing, while Kaelen looked utterly bewildered. Leoric, anwhile, had discovered my stash of rare ores and was cooing over them like precious gems.

Jeeves glided to my side. His expression was a carefully maintained mask of neutrality, though I could see the faintest hint of strain around his eyes. "Master," he murmured, his voice barely audible over Rexxar's enthusiastic instructions to Kaelen, "it appears your request for a warrior and an artisan has been fulfilled. Albeit… in a sowhat bifurcated and energetically expressive manner."

"Understatent of the eon, Jeeves," I sighed, rubbing my temples. This was going to be… interesting.
