“...What the hell is going on with this man?”
A hoarse voice rang as if she did not want to believe what she was seeing. Her amber eyes were opened widely. Her rosy lips parted in awe. She panted so heavily. A big drop of sweat was on her tanned cheek.
“Is that all you got?”
Another voice was from a heavily panting man. He was covered with wounds, yet they were not severe.
There were more than two hundred puppets lying around. They were all destroyed and could not get back up anymore. Of course, it was the man’s doing.
“It seems this is really all you got, Ms. Puppeteer. I’ll tell you that it’s not enough to bring down.”
Tunwa’s words got the girl’s lips pressing.
It was true that she could not do anything to this man, and she could not say that it was not her full power. Even though she had not unsealed her power just yet, she was certain that what she had right now would be enough to take down a no-na player. She was wrong!
No matter how many tis she hit him, the man guarded them all. His defense was flawless. He took small chances to destroy her puppet one by one so calmly and with potential. The result was this...
She only had a few puppets left to defend herself from this man, let alone the enemy’s army out there. This was the only chance for her. If she waited longer until soone ca and helped him, that would be the end.
“A secret technique, Black and White Puppet!”
Miguel did not hesitate to bring out two more puppets. Tunwa gritted his teeth and put up his round iron shield.
The puppets parted ways and ran towards him at the speed of a wild animal. His green eyes looked at the enemy who intentionally ordered the puppets to attack him from both directions. Tunwa decided to go for the black puppet first. It was a big manly figurine with a sword.
Crash!!
Even with so much pressure that his shield trembled, it seed like the hit was bounced off to the puppet itself so hard that the sword broke to pieces. Its arms were the sa, even though it was the one who initiated the attack.
“Damn it! It’s like this again. What the hell is this man’s shield?!”
Miguel swore loudly. This was not the first ti that her puppet got destroyed for nothing!
Miguel flicked her hand and ordered the white puppet to go for Tunwa from behind. Tunwa gritted his teeth tightly and turned around just in ti. It was a female figurine with a big spear pointing at Tunwa!
Clank!!
As expected, Miguel’s attack could not penetrate the shield. The spear broke along with the arms!
“It’ll still be the sa, miss.” He smiled. “You’re wasting your energy. Everything you do is worthless. Your puppets can’t do anything to , even with hundreds or thousands of them.”
What the hell...
Every hit was bounced off. It was like fighting a wall!!
“What’s going on with this man...”
Miguel murmured softly. She scrutinized the man in front of her. The more she thought, the more she was confused. She had been observing the Nesis for months and Tunwa should have been the easiest one to deal with since he was a defensive type without many tricky moves, especially when he was without supports...
And what was this...?
What was happening to the Nesis?!
“It can’t be helped.”
Miguel sighed softly and smiled.
“I’ve never thought about waking him up, but it seems like I don’t have a choice. I’ve underestimated you, Mr. Tunwa. So, now it’ll be a real fight.”
“What?” Tunwa raised his eyebrow. “A real fight? Don’t joke around. You’re telling that these toys aren’t all you got?”
“That’s right.”
Miguel smiled. Tunwa pressed his lips tightly and smiled (awkwardly).
“Let’s do it, then. If you think the result would change.” Tunwa said. “I want to know, too, if your ‘real fight’ will be able to penetrate my shield.”
The tanned girl threw away the two threads in her hand. The black and white puppets dropped down on the ground. Then, Miguel took off her brown robe, revealing her nice shape in a black one-piece lolita dress.
She tied her hair up in a ponytail with a thread she created.
“A secret technique, summoning a death beast, Death Scythe!”
BOOM!!
A black coffin punched out of the ground, startling Tunwa. He stared at it. He did not like this kind of thing in the first place as it gave out an eerie vibe. He felt intimidated.
Crash!!
In the blink of an eye, the lid of the coffin was thrown off. It floated only an inch away past Tunwa’s face. A wrinkly hand slowly grabbed the side of the coffin.
“You’re one of a few people who are able to force my Death Scythe out. I’ll make sure to pay you back ten folds, Mr. Tunwa.”
A high-level puppet summoning technique, Beast Manipulation!
A red thread ca out of Miguel’s ten fingers. They were attached to the coffin. Tunwa knew what she was trying to do. A figure in the coffin slowly got up from there.
Tunwa broke a sweat. Firstly, it was about five ters tall. Secondly, it was a skeleton. Thirdly, it was holding a giant scythe that looked very scary. And lastly, its bones were covered with black flas that indicated how powerful it was!!
“Now, let the blood splattering begin, Mr. Tunwa.”
Miguel flicked her fingers, and the skeleton pointed the weapon at Tunwa.
The man swallowed his saliva and tightened a grip on his shield.
“...Damn. This isn’t going to end well.”

“Breaking news, everyone! There’s sothing big going on in the south of Tristan!!”
A female reporter said and pointed through the small window of the helicopter. She was clearly excited.
BOOM!!
The sound of disaster startled her. The flas gushed out from below.
“It seems like the fight of the three monsters that we’ve predicted has finally begun! It’s been twenty minutes in and they’re still going for it. They don’t seem to hesitate at all with each of the attacks. That’s why Tristan is looking like this.”
The cara shot the city below and everyone could see that what was once a city was not there anymore. Everything had been wiped out. It was not even debris, but more like a smooth surface. No one could tell how anyone could do that!
And in the center of it, the three n were still at each other. The more they fought, the more powerful they got. The magic kept affecting a wider range. The fist and the sword had changed their objective from ‘hit them’ to ‘kill them’.
“Of course, the fight is being witnessed by everyone around the world. It’s trending live. The casinos are starting to bet on it. I, Kannika, will keep an eye on this fight for you.”
She touched her ear as if she was listening to sothing from her earphone. She nodded and continued.
“As for the other battles, there’s no major update just yet. It seems like the four gods and the Nesis have already penetrated the alliance base. William, the leader of the alliance, is still nowhere to be found. Moreover, the sacred crystal of the alliance is still safe, even though their cannon which is supposedly activated by the crystal energy has been destroyed by the Nesis’s ship. However, they still stand, so that ans the crystal’s still fine. I’ll keep you updated when there’s more...”
“Safe my ass!!”
The reporter had not finished just yet when the small TV screen was shut down.
“If it was safe, I wouldn’t have to run pathetically like this!”
A tall man shouted angrily. There were over ten people behind him, carrying a sacred crystal that shone brightly.
“Leader, are you sure that we should escape now? There’re still our people in the field. If you run without telling them to retreat...”
“Why would I do that and alert everyone? They all want my head!”
