“That’s your job to figure it out.”

“Wha...” Wisana drawled.

“Use your hands, feet, or whatever you have. I forbid you to use those two.”

Wisana narrowed his eyes and turned to Shin. Shin halted.

“And why does Shin still have his Four Seasons? That’s legendary, too.”

Bonk!

Now, it was at Wisana’s temple. He sank down again.

“I just told you yesterday that Shin will be mastering the spear. Why do I have to confiscate it when it’s bad enough for him to fight with it? He’s different from a certain spoiled young man who only does things that he finds comfortable.”

It was the truth that Wisana could only pout back. He looked into his teacher’s eyes before he unwillingly took off both weapons and gave them to Baron.

The woman smiled at him and did not hesitate to throw the weapons into her item window as if she were throwing away trash. Wisana opened his mouth widely at the sight.

Baron smiled at both of them and put out her hands.

“And what are you waiting for?” She said sweetly and tilted her head a little. “Go train, little pricks!!”

The shout prompted the boys to dash out. Baron and Stella looked at each other and smiled.

“If you can’t reach the twenty-fifth floor by noon, you can say goodbye to lunch, understood?”

----------------

The commandnt worked so well. The boys started to slay the monsters as if their lives depended on it. The deeper they got, the stronger the monsters were. Wisana could feel that there were fewer monsters as they went down. However, what substituted that was the stronger abilities they had. So of them were very good with their movents and had such strong attacks. It would be hard enough for soone fully equipped. Wisana had to fight them barehanded. This was bad!

As for Shin, he seed to be more used to the Longinus now. So curses were not effective on him anymore. The Crusaders were really built to fight alone. When Shin went all out, he did not even have to depend on Stella’s healing magic. His self-healing skill was at a high level now. The anti-curse skill like the “tal Blood” also helped him raise his “Immunity” against new curses. There were only bad curses now from the heavier usage of the spear. Shin was trying his best to get used to the spear as much as he could.

Everyone had to admit that Snow was a genius. She must have calculated that Shin was the only one who could use the poisonous spear to its 100%, even though he had to go through all these hardships.

And because of the obvious difference in their improvent...

The result turned out just like how Baron had predicted.

Right now, Wisana had already lay on the ground, while Shin was still fighting the monsters not so far from him as if he had never been out of strength. He was so accurate like a war machine.

They were already on the twenty-fifth floor, but because of the accumulated fatigue and wounds, Wisana could not move an inch anymore.

“Where does his strength co from?” Wisana glanced at Shin. “Only this that I have to give him. He’s totally a terminator.”

“I’ll heal you, leader.”

Suddenly, a sweet voice sounded at the side. The boy turned to the source with his glowing eyes like those of a hungry puppy.

“Please, Ms. Stella. I can’t even get up anymore.”

“Okay.”

The nurse sat down and cast her healing spell on Wisana. As soon as the healing light hit him, his facial expression changed to a happy one imdiately.

“What about Samie and Mo? I’ve never seen them since this morning.” Wisana asked.

“Ms. Baron wanted them to train in another path. They should be back here soon. Don’t worry. Samie’s very good.”

“Right.” He said wearily.

Pow!

However, the conversation was cut short when a shoe hit right into Wisana’s shoulder so hard that the man was startled. He looked up and saw that Baron was there with her hands on her hips. The boy smiled awkwardly at her.

“Hehe.” He laughed dryly.

“Hehe.” Baron imitated him. “What’s so fuckin’ funny, your dad?”

Wisana was startled by those words.

Why was it always my dad? He must have been sneezing so much by now.

“You’re beyond rescue.” Baron started the lecture. “Even with such lowly monsters, you’re so worn out like a puppy in a sewer already. How are you planning to fight the Cores?”

“Hey! You’re the one who took my weapons off. How can I fight without them?!”

The boy tried to argue, but that was not what Baron wanted to hear. That was why she roundhouse kicked at the boy’s shoulder so hard again that Stella’s face wrinkled. If his parents saw this, they must have been shocked. (Actually no, because she IS his mother, Stella.)

“That’s not a good excuse, little shit,” Baron said. “See Shin for example.”

Wisana slowly turned to look at Shin.

He saw the young crusader hitting the monsters in a smooth manner. He did not seem to be putting too much strength in his movents. Each step of his looked like a slow dance. And with that, he could still sweep the monsters away. He could hit them even before they could reach him. His lavender eyes always kept track of each monster. His movents were flawless. Both the fight and the defense were balanced out, and everyone could see how much he had improved.

Seeing that, Wisana let out a long sigh.

“That’s right. It’s because you didn’t take his weapons. That’s why he can still fight.”

“Hahhhhhhhhhh~!”

Baron let out a long sigh. She was at it with this kid being such a slowpoke. She intentionally sat down on Wisana’s stomach, and he let out a soft “ouch”. Stella had to stop her spell casting since she was about to heal his stomach right then.

“This is the second day, you little Vincent. Can you please at least process faster? You haven’t figured out my intention yet?”

“H...Heav...” Wisana could not speak.

“If you say it, you’re dead,” Baron said.

“S... So light... Very light... Even lighter than cotton.”

Baron grinned. She rested her chin on her hand and pointed at Shin.

“Look at his movents and figure it out, little boy. His movents are incredible. You’ve been with him all this ti, it’d be nice if you noticed your friend in the party, too. I’ve been keeping my eyes on him, that’s how I know that his movents are getting sharper. Do you know why?”

Wisana shook his head. Baron bead.

“Because Shin started to gain control of the Signetic in him.”

Hearing that, Wisana frowned.

“The danger around you prompts so much more Signetic rush than usual. Have you heard that people will suddenly gain incredible strength when their house got on fire? You can easily pick sothing so big up as if it was as light as a feather.”

“But isn’t that because of the adrenaline rush? It makes our heart beat faster and every part of the body can work faster.”
