“Samie is a straightforward person like that. If she gets to believe in sothing, she’ll hold on to the belief. anwhile, if she loves soone from the bottom of her heart, she’ll love that person forever.”
“Thanks a lot!” Wisana shouted. “But I know that ever since she told . ‘You don’t have to love back. Just let love you. That’s all!’ it was these words that my girlfriend put on Manny Pacquiao’s energy and right hooked in the face!”
Lex reached his hand up to cover his laugh. He tried not to be rude, but it seed like an impossible thing to do. And when he made eye contact with the grumpy one, he did not feel sorry for him at all, instead, he just found it very amusing.
“So, you called for help with that, right?”
“Yeah, please help,” Wisana said tiredly.
Lex shook his head as he laughed so hard that his eyes squinted. And finally, he stopped, curling up a smile.
“Well, you asked for help about that, then all I can do is to say, please take care of her well.”
Wisana raised his brows, while a sound like ‘Huh?’ was let out of his throat.
“What’s that supposed to an?!”
“It ans that I can’t help you.” Lex shook his head slowly. “Even though I’m the headmaster of the dragon warrior class, I still don’t have the right to command or take any bonded dragon from anyone. I might be able to help if this was so wild dragon.”
“What do you an bonded?” Wisana frowned his brows. “Samie isn’t bonded to , and according to the dragon bonding rules, the dragon warrior has to defeat the dragon, get accepted by it, and most importantly, there has to be the giving ceremony first to succeed the bonding, that’s how it’s written in the dragon bible you gave , isn’t it?”
Wisana tried to put all the information in his head into words. If he could highlight this part in the book, he would have brought it out to support his statent now, too.
“That’s correct, Mister Vincent,” Lex said smilingly. “To make a bond with a dragon required many steps and ceremonies. However, I still confirm that Samie has been your dragon successfully now.”
“But about those steps...”
“You did all of them without even realizing it, Mister Vincent.”
Hearing that, Wisana was stunned for a long while. He tried to recall it for at least 10 seconds if he had ever done sothing like that. But the more he tried, the more he was sure that he had never done it before.
And only looking at his face, Lex could tell that Wisana was confused. So, he sighed briefly.
“Then I’ll explain it to you about everything.” Lex smiled widely. “You already know about the ceremonies. First, the player has to defeat the dragon outright, which you did successfully.”
“?” Wisana yelled. “That’s ridiculous, Lex. Do I have to remind you about who actually beat the crap out of who? It was her who was so savage, brutal, and the craziest one!”
“Right, but you did defeat her, by stealing her egg without getting any scratches. Plus, you ssed up her head totally by throwing many kinds of magic at her.”
“...Well, ...that,” He started to lose words to argue now.
“To defeat it outright here doesn’t an to attack and disable the dragon or beat it until it’s close to death, but it is to make the dragon accept your abilities, to impress it with your skills so it doesn’t doubt you about anything. And you did all that without even knowing it.”
Wisana did not know what to say, because back then, he ssed with Sarquros quite a lot, too.
“Okay, I might outright defeat the dragon and get her to accept ,” Wisana admitted irksoly. “But what about the giving ceremony? I totally didn’t do anything about that!”
“Yes, you totally did.”
“Huh?” Wisana was stunned again.
“Don’t you rember that you cut Samie’s tail off in your fight?” Lex paused for Wisana to recall his mory. And then he nodded, “So, do you rember what the tail that you cut off beca afterward?”
The listener paused as well. He slowly widened his eyes. He was shocked as he instantly opened his inventory window to find sothing that he had forgotten about for a long ti.
The silver ring with a dragon engraved in it.
“That’s right, it’s the Sarquros’ Command.”
“Sarquros’ Command?” Wisana repeated.
“Yes,” Lex nodded. “It’s an S rarity-ranking item that only dragon warriors can own and use. And that’s the giving item for the bonding ceremony.
“Huh? You’re telling that taking the ring that dropped from cutting her tail made the bonding ceremony successful?!”
“Yes, but not willingly.” Lex smiled. “At first, she didn’t want to give the ring to you that much. In fact, you’re the one snatching it from her. Aren’t you?”
Wisana froze for a mont. He recalled when Samie said, ‘You’ve taken it from .’ right away. So, this was what she ant when she said that?!!
“It might be a normal thing for a player to do. But for dragons, their dignity is everything, Mister Vincent.” Lex wrapped up for him. “Samie got taken down by you, her significant things got stolen from her, so, she doesn’t have anything left to be but love you. And to be honest, Mister Vincent, she isn’t wrong for loving you. But it’s your fault for making her love you, even though it wasn’t your intention.”
The listener was shocked a little, he never thought that he would get blad by this Lex guy before. And the more he listened, the more he started feeling weirdly guilty now.
“So, I really did complete the ceremony,” Wisana admitted wearily.
“That’s right.” Lex nodded. A smile was on his face. “She’s completely yours now, so I can’t do anything to help you. In other words, it’s your family issue, not my place to butt in.”
Okay, that was a fact. However, to hear it from that mouth with a mischievous smile, Wisana got the urge to put on Manny Pacquiao’s energy and punch that annoying face through the communication window so much!
But he remained quiet as his only hope to escape this was put out. At first, his plan was to ask this guy to convince Samie back to Drago Hild willingly. However, it turned out that the guy totally agreed with the dragon girl to stay with him here!
Thinking about that, he reached to pull on his hair harshly, making the other man on the screen chuckle.
“You don’t seem so fond of Samie. Does she annoy you or sothing?”
Lex asked straightforwardly. He could tell that Wisana was not willing to make the promise bond with Sarquros and he was now thinking about what to do next so hard.
“No, she doesn’t. But you probably know that I already have a girlfriend, and she’s not happy to see having another girl around, even though that said girl is just an NPC.”
The listener paused. The smile on his face suddenly faded.
“You’re saying that these NPCs don’t have feelings, Mister Vincent?”
