“That’s right. How about you make it your ultimate skill?”

Hearing that, the girl lowered her head slightly like she was considering it. But with the innocence she still had, she looked at him, with a bright smile right away.

“So, it will be like Papa’s Nesis skill, right?” She asked in a delighted voice.

Wisana paused at that a little. He glanced at Jinnie, wondering how his daughter knew about the ultimate skill he used to finish off the item hunters one ti. The AI only smiled wryly at him in response, and then she nodded, implying that she was the one who told her about it.

“Yes, just like my Nesis skill.” Wisana agreed with a sweet smile.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, so, I have my ultimate skill, too, now. Heavy Voice, Mo’s ultimate skill. So cool!”

She said, jumping around, making Wisana relieved a bit. At least Mo would not shoot that beam to destroy things randomly now. So, Vanilia should be safe from her.

After the thoughts, Wisana stopped his feet at the entrance of the town. There was a sign made of wood above their heads with the words, ‘Vanilia, Village of Healing.’ The entrance gate was also made of wood and opened wide like it was welcoming every visitor who passed by.

However,...

“Are we at the right place?” Wisana asked.

“Yes, we are, Master. This is Vanilia. It’s literally written on the sign.”

After Jinnie’s words, the three of them glanced up at the wooden sign above with fearful eyes.

“Papa, is this what’s called a haunted house?”

“No, sweetheart. It’s called a ghost town.”

“...”

Jinnie did not say a word. She just hurriedly searched through information on many windows she opened up without her master telling her to do so. The first thing she was looking for was the answer to whether this town was really a ghost town or not!

“Well, since we’re already here. Let’s take a look inside a bit.”

Wisana suggested and everyone nodded in agreent, but Mona Lisa was climbing up to her father to get carried by him with a nervous face. Even a naughty kid like her could be creeped out by this atmosphere, too.

What they saw was a dead silent town. The sign at the gate was shabby and broken. And inside the town, the first thing that crossed their sight were piles of dust and sand, which was strange. The area around this town was rich in forest with nice weather, so why was the town full of sand like a town in the south like this?”

“Jinnie,” Wisana called her na in a whispering voice.

“Yes, Master?”

“Search for any living things in the town’s area, both players and monsters.” After speaking, he looked around cautiously. “I kind of sll sothing fishy here.”

“, too.” The little girl said, nose sniffing around. “But I sll fire and gunpowder.”

Wisana did not say anything in response to his daughter’s words.

Everyone walked further towards the town carefully. Vanilia was a town that should not be larger than 1,000 square Wah. It was supposed to be a cute-looking town with people walking around with shops and tourists.

But it was not anything like that...

This town was completely quiet. Houses and buildings were run down. Many glass windows were broken into pieces. The fountain in the middle of the city did not have a single drop of water. Its basin was also shattered. The only building that seed to be in good condition was the biggest building which was located on the furthest side of the town.

There was no NCP here, not even an official building.

“It looks like soone just had a big fight here.”

Wisana pointed out in a quiet voice. He saw many weapons left on the ground with arrows and bullet shells, too.

“It’s like a civil war.” He said discreetly.

“But a small town like this doesn’t look like it’s suitable to be a battlefield at all. It doesn’t make sense for any player to attack a tourist town.”

Jinnie spoke right to the point, while she was trying to find any information about this town and searching for anyone around here at the sa ti. However, no matter how hard she searched, there was nothing written about Vanalia town on any news or web board at all.

“You have a point, but it’s just weird,” Wisana said. “The map says that this town is a tourist attraction. If this is a ghost town, the tourist icon should have been deleted already, right?”

After that, his body stiffened. His eyes widened as they looked around the area right away. And so did Mona Lisa and Jinnie who had the sa reaction.

“Everyone be careful. I can sense sothing.” Wisana said.

“I can sll it, too. It slls like humans.” Mona Lisa sniffed her nose.

“My radar’s detected sothing as well, and there’s not just one.”

They all looked clearly cautious. Wisana tightened his hand around his daughter’s.

His amber eyes were looking through the place, focusing. It was empty and quiet, but this was not good. They had walked into a town with limited space with one way out. It would be very bad if anything went wrong.

That would not be a problem for Jinnie or him.

But Mo was still too young. If there was a fight, she was not going to make it.

If there was a fight here, he would have to handle it all by himself.

WHOOP!!

As fast as he thought, there was sothing flying out fast from a blind spot. Wisana’s hearing sense kicked in strongly, and his amber eyes widened. He pulled his slender body away from his daughter, spun around, and reached up to catch sothing before it hit her face.

“An arrow?” He whispered.

After that, the doors of the houses around there swung open harshly, followed by many people shouting and yelling through the area!

“That’s just a few here. Take them!!”

“You stupid dirty. Get the hell out of our village!!”

The bawling ca from about ten grown-up n. Each of them had a weapon in their hands, and their target was totally Wisana’s party. Seeing that, the man clenched his jaws, held his daughter up, and tossed her to Jinnie right away.

“Jinnie, take care of Mo!” He shouted,

“Eh! Papa, I’ll fight, too!”

The little girl shouted in a high-pitched voice, but her father did not listen.

“Go sowhere high. I’ll handle this.”

“Yes, Master,” Jinnie responded.

“Sister, let go, I’ll go help Papa!!”

“Hold still, Mona Lisa. Master will be fine. We’ll just slow him down there.”

The little girl wriggled in Jinnie’s arms, but the beautiful AI did not mind her protesting at all, because the master’s order was absolute. So, right now, the slim one floated up in the air, leaving Wisana who was ready to fight in the circle of people who were launching themselves straightly at him.

“Wait, hold on, I’m not an enemy, okay?!”

He tried to warn the first man who got to him. He had a thick beard and was dressed in common villager clothes. Nothing about him made him look like a warrior!

“Stop talking. Damn, now it can talk, too?!”

After speaking, the bearded man drew his sword up to slash it down on Wisana. The man pressed his lips together, before deciding to dodge it and smacking the ridge of his hand at the man’s neck with full strength.

“Uncle Berm!”

Another one of them shouted when they saw Wisana attacking their people. And that was all for three more n to rush toward him with weapons in their hands.

Without hesitation, Wisana got ready to dodge their clumsy attack easily, and seeing how they fought like that, he squinted with surprise even more. However, his slender hand reached out and touched each of them on the chest gently.

Fist Destruction!!
