The ti during the war passed by quickly like turning a book page.

After Nesis declared themselves as an independent force that did not belong to anyone, this holy war got all twitched. 15 days had passed in the ga, and no one had seen even a trace of shadows of the Nesis until now. And no one could guess where they were and what they were going to do next.

However, there was one thing Vincent left for them, a new rule in the war. The rule that no one belonged to anyone. Thada announced a couple of days ago that it was “The one” rule.

“There will not be only two armies from now on,” Thada said, shortly after Pride’s server was available again. “The winner of the war is the only one who has at least one crystal with them. The battle rules will be free, every player can do however they like. They can make a pact and deal with any guild, or form an alliance to fight in battle now. The war ends when there’s only one force left with a holy crystal in their hold. It ans that you can destroy others’ crystals or take them away.”

The new rule made many players alert instantly. So of them agreed with this because they would be freer in the war. So did not, because right now, those who held the crystal were all top-tier players. For this reason, being the victor of this war sounded more like a dream to smaller guilds that did not want to be subordinate to the four gods.

The team staff was concerned about this, too, so they added a new system to support those forces that might have fewer players and war materials than the four gods, but still want to participate in the war and rewards that were acceptable for their efforts.

This system was ‘Challenge Rule,’ the system that allowed a force to challenge another in a battle with any rules that both forces agreed to. Of course, the winner would get imnse EXP, gold, and items that the other placed in their bet. Moreover, there would be points collected from winning each challenge. These points could be used to challenge those who owned the crystal, and the crystal owners would have to accept the challenge without any conditions.

Briefly, the more tis winning in challenge rule mode, the more chances to take the crystal from the holders. However, the points that had to be collected were up to 8 million. So, it would not be that easy, because when losing in the challenge mode, so of the collected points would be deducted as well. Additionally, in each challenge, the staff would be a special judge, scoring both sides according to their performance in battle. In other words, the more skills they perford, the more collected points they would get.

With these new rules that supported both high-ranked and low-ranked players, the war seed to be more vigorous, and the feedback of the rules turned out to be really good as well.

ARRRRRRGH!!!

The scream was heard throughout the area. At the entrance of the Kravenza Forest, there were many players drowning in their puddles of blood in a state that was obvious from the first glance that they were already dead. Moreover, the clothes these players were wearing obviously made them look like total bad guys, too.

“Who the hell are you?!”

“Boss, we better get away from here than asking for her na!”

“What are you so afraid of? It’s just a woman.”

“But she’s the woman who’s freaking killed dozens of us now.”

At the sa ti, another voice followed with the sound of weapons hitting the others harshly. The battle was going on under the moonlight from the sky, but the darkness of the night was not a problem for this slim woman at all.

She was wearing a long cloak covering her entire body. Her hands were holding a large, pitch-black blade scythe, swinging it at the group of players in front of her to death, easily like breathing.

While she was intensely killing these people, there was another group of kids who did not look like they were ones of the ones getting killed, too. They were sitting and curling in with each other, looking scared. They feared Black Skull thieves, who tended to rob items and gold from players. These thieves threatened them that they would kill them all, revived them to live, and killed them again until their EXP was all out. And then they feared this mysterious woman in a cloak who suddenly showed up and rushed in with that large scythe, wiping the group of thieves down dead on the ground.

“Wh ...who the hell are you? One of the GMs or what?”

A man, one of the thieves, shouted aloud, his hand was holding a large sword. One of his eyes was covered in an eye pad with a skull and crossbones printed on it. Moreover, he had two huge n who were about his size fully ard standing on each side of him as well.

“Don’t ask anymore, Boss. I think we should run. This woman is a total monster, beating up about 50 of our players like that.”

“Are you crazy? She’s seen our faces. We’ll be dood if she reports us to the GMs.”

The man with an eye pad yelled.

“But boss, we’re not a match for this woman at all!”

Hearing that, all three buff n turned to look at the lady in a cloak with terror looks in their eyes. At the sa ti, her eyes looked right into theirs, giving them goosebumps with fear.

“D ...don’t co any closer!!”

That was all it was said, before the one-eyed boss started running away, leaving his two n flinch behind him. Then, a second later, they started following their boss out right away. The one covered entirely by a cloak let out a sigh like she was bored.

WOOP!

Like a wind blowing, the lady in the cloak rushed forward quickly. She ran to block the n’s way in the blink of an eye. Before they realized it, her blood-red eyes were already staring at the prey before them.

No words were spoken when the large scythe was leashed down at the thieves. Their blood was shed everywhere horrifically as they fell to the ground. The scythe then disappeared from the lady’s hands right after that.

Everything cald down a mont later. There was no sound coming from the kids who were shaking from fear in another corner. Maybe that was because they just witnessed the cruel massacre right before their eyes.

Dead bodies were piled up on the ground. The color and sll of blood were spreading everywhere. Even the lady in a cloak covered her nose with her hand.

“Such a disgusting sll.”

She said in a deep voice. After that, she glanced at the three survivors right away. The first second her eyes were on the kids; they all jumped at the sa ti.

She walked to them with steady steps, walking over so of those she just killed like she was unbothered. Then she stopped right in front of the kids. They still could not see her face so clearly even from close range. And they still remained silent, not even daring to look at her directly.

“E ...er, thank you a lot for saving us.”
