In the evening of the third day of the war, the sky started changing color to the night tone as ti passed by. Also, this day was the day that the red pirates would assign the holy crystal to Valentine as planned.

A golden crystal the size of a football was sparkling on the palm of a man who was standing next to Valentine. He was a small guy with golden brown hair and one of his eyes covered in an eyepatch, “Vis” the one who joined the Hunting Gate with Wisana back then.

“All’s good, Boss.” Vis turned to speak with Valentine after examining the crystal in his hand and finding it to be the real one. After that, Valentine nodded in response, before glancing at William and other unit leaders who were standing in a line by the exit of the red pirates’ army’s temporary base.

“Well, then, I better get going and move my unit to Albasta now,” Valentine said.

“There’s no need to rush like this, Miss Valentine. We can move our forces tomorrow to invade Tristan at once. Is it necessary to move your unit to the frontline now?”

William spoke in a delighted voice.

Valentine shook her head slowly after hearing his question.

“I think it is because I heard that the blue warriors would send their force to Tristan by tomorrow as well. Also, I’m afraid that the other army with Sven as the adviser would probably know that we would invade the city tomorrow as well. So, it is necessary to be prepared sooner.”

“Is that so?”

William said smilingly, thinking that there was no point in this kind of preparation. The point was that the more they stayed away from the battle zone, the safer they would be.

“It is up to Leader Valentine then, but the ti to invade and take over Tristan is still 10 o’clock tomorrow as we’ve planned. There’s no invasion before that.”

“Noted.”

Valentine shrugged at those words, before turning to look at Vis as a sign that they should start moving now.

After that she turned the other way, passing hundreds of her forces who were walking in lines, then Valentine’s eyes caught a red-haired girl acting upset toward a man.

And when she looked better, she realized...

That was Fasai clinging to Shin’s arm, while she was yelling at him as well.

“I don’t understand, Shin. You just helped them once and there’s no need for you to stick with them all the ti. You do not belong to their guild!”

Fahsai shouted aloud after she found out that Shin was not going to fight with her guild in Tristan, and that he asked to travel with Wisana’s guild instead.

“As you can see, I’m wounded,” Shin said briefly, holding both his hands up for Fahsai to see.

And obviously, the man’s hands were covered with magic bandages. However, Fahsai still frowned out of displeasure anyway.

“It’s okay. This kind of condition is never your problem anyway. Just co with us!”

“Well, I’m just a human, too, you know, not so kind of a monster to be strong 24/7.”

Shin said wearily, before putting his hands down and looking away.

“I think you better hurry and go with Rak, you’re one of the main damages for the unit anyway. And I am now confirming to you that I’m not going to fight in the frontline this ti.”

"Why?” Fahsai spoke up softly.

“I just said I’m wounded.”

“And why does it have to be the Nesis?!!”

Finally, she shouted at the top of her lungs, making anyone around turn to look at them. So of the Bunny Burner guild mbers who were about to leave the base stopped and paid attention to these two who started to fight harder.

“It has nothing to do with the Nesis. I just did what was right for the situation.”

“What was right?” Fahsai repeated in a high-pitched voice. “Are you sure that is all you thought about?”

The last sentence sounded harsh. Her eyes were staring directly at the other. Of course, Shin avoided her eyes because everything he said was the other way around from what he felt.

“But that has nothing to do with you, doesn’t it, Fah?”

He said in a gentle voice.

And she barely changed her expression. Her attractive lips pressed together like she was blaming him.

“You always change the subject like this. Actually, why exactly do you want to go with the Nesis? Because of the right to the situation, or...”

“My reason has nothing to do with you anyway.”

“It does!” Fahsai shouted aloud. “I’m your fiancée.”

“Who the adults assigned without our consent.” Shin completed her sentence. Those lavender-colored eyes looked at the younger one again, before he let out a sigh. “If I have to break it to you honestly, we’re not anything other than brother and sister. I’ve probably told you that millions of tis. Even Rak, who is my sister, doesn’t get to tell what I should be doing, so what’s your right to do that?”

With these words, the smaller one was stunned right away.

Many of those who overheard it pouted. They had heard before that Shindanai was the type that did not talk so much. But who would have thought that when he did, his words would hit so hard that it could probably knock out a dinosaur like this!

That was all to make a teardrop run down her clear cheek right away. Shin did not seem surprised by the other’s reaction. He just let out a sigh and shook his head slightly.

“Right, I’m just soone else to you!” She yelled at the top of her voice, before turning and running away instantly. “I hate you so much. I’m done with you now!”

And then, she disappeared from his sight as those who were marching moved away from her path at the sa ti. Shin’s eyes caught his sister watching them from afar. So, he took a deep breath harshly like he was getting it together again, before nodding slowly at her.

Valentine did not say anything. She just smiled wearily and nodded in reply.

After a while, Valentine’s unit started fading away from the main base.

There was only one man left, who was watching his sister’s army walking out. He then held a hand up to rub his forehead tiredly.

“Those words were such a harsh thing to say. Such a poor girl to hear that.”

Suddenly, a sweet voice of soone spoke up, making him turn and see that it was from Waree who was walking with Maysa. She purposely said it like she was not telling that to anyone specifically.

The man put his hand up like he was about to object.

But that was probably too late because Waree and Maysa walked past him already. Even though Maysa was holding her hand up in apology, Waree’s action made his headache worse still.

“Girls.” He said, letting out a sigh of pity for himself.
