“If Vincent heard you said that he would have wanted to resign from the leadership right away.”

Even though Shin said that with an emotionless face, the joke was still quite satisfying for Manoch, so he laughed aloud.

“You’re right though. My leader is impulsively crazy that even May can’t hold him down. If he wants to do sothing, he never listens to anyone who tries to stop him. And it seems like Lavi is coming for him this ti. Guess there’ll be a lot of fun.”

“Yeah.”

Shindanai replied shortly, before stopping at the corner before the head office. Manoch took the chance to bring his clipboard with a paper note out to check the packages that had just been carried in, before looking like he was about to walk to the tent in the other direction.

“You can hang around here, Shin. Your friends are here, too. Our camp might not be that large, but each tent can hold more than 300 people, you know. So, go check them out. I’ll wait for Na and the chiefs here as I check these packages.”

“It’s okay.”

Shindanai shook his head slightly, before crossing his arms around his chest.

“I’ll wait for Valentine here as well. I don’t want to make it awkward for them to have around.”

Hearing that, Manoch forced up a wry smile.

“As you wish then.”

----------------

The ti passed after that quickly like turning a book page. The sky had beco dark and cloudy. Even the moonlight could not shine upon the ground at all, as if it were a sign of the bloodbath that was about to happen soon.

Many players had to make campfires to replace the moonlight that did not seem to do its job tonight. A few hours after that, the Nesis guild camp had grown many tis larger. The barbed fence around the camp was pulled down to expand the camp space. Many new tents were set up for residents and to be offices. Players were still going busily around the place like they wanted to work their best at every second because the battle drums would be heard in the next few hours.

The last eting before the war ended around 5 p.m. That was when the chief mbers from different guilds walked out of Nesis’ office with faces that were too difficult to guess what moods they were in.

Especially Maysa, her face was the hardest to read.

At the first glance of the Nesis guild’s chief of staff, Shindanai who was waiting outside thought about holding his hand to greet her, but she seed to be so frustrated that she could not see anyone at that mont. Maysa stomped her feet right to her room which was located not far away from the head office tent, leaving Wisana to join them after that. He said,

“Leave her be. She could kill soone right now.”

Hearing that, everyone noted right away that the eting did not go so smoothly.

After that, they did not say a word until Wisana told Manoch to gather the chiefs from every unit of the Nesis guild in a new tent. Later on, the tent would be a eting place for the Nesis instead of the head office tent that had beco the army’s headquarters now.

And this could be another reason that Maysa was upset as well.

The others were okay because they still gave them space and did not want to use the Nesis’ resources that much. And then there was this guy nad William. Apart from the man acting very narcissistic, he also liked being bossy around and telling people what to do.

The ones with high titles like Wisana and Valentine were those who liked going easy and did not mind that kind of manner. But when none of them said anything, the rest in the room did not know what else to do when the William guy used his title of being one of the top ten to oppress the lower-ranked guild. To put it in simple terms, he was carrying himself like he was a general like Wisana and Valentine!

“This guy is irritating.”

Right after they got in the new set-up tent that was not far from the head office, Tunwa threw his vest on the floor out of frustration.

“Who does he think he is to order people around like that though? If that wasn’t during a eting, I would have drop-kicked him in the face already.”

“Quiet down. You’re afraid that he wouldn’t hear you? You’d get us in trouble.”

Nuchjaree snapped, holding her finger up in a gesture to quiet down.

Anyway, she was not surprised why Tunwa got angry like this at all. William really acted arrogantly, and he even said sothing that almost made Tunwa and Maysa lose it in the eting, too.

“Your guild has joined the war for the first ti, you guys are not used to this kind of fight yet. It’s true that you’ve been through a lot, but this war is different. There’re many strategies and steps that you have to learn. Mister Vincent might be known for his skills, but in those skills, I really doubt if they are as good as the dia presents them or not.”

William, who was wearing sunglasses, spoke in the eting from the head of the table. He was sitting with his legs crossed, acting like he was in control there.

“I beg your pardon, Mister William. Are you implying that our leader has been making up fake news just to make himself look good?”

Maysa’s eyebrows twitched. She stared at the big-mouthed one instantly.

“I’m not being that specific. But what I’ve heard about him is a bit too hard to believe, for example, about how he defeated those item hunters, or about how he was the one who killed the virus in Doras 4 months ago.”

After speaking, he intentionally glanced at Wisana like he purposely opened the topic for everyone in the eting to doubt the sa thing as him. Right now, everyone was looking at Wisana. anwhile, the one who was being stared at did not say a word, only letting a quiet sigh out.

“That’s funny.” Suddenly, Tunwa spoke up. “How our leader defeated those item hunters was caught clearly on the caras. The GMs were even the ones who published the news about what he did to the virus themselves. But there’s still a jealous man speaking this crap out loud anyway.”

“Tun.”

Wisana said his friend’s na in a stiff voice, but Tunwa barely listened. His eyes were staring at William out of frustration that the man attacked his friend openly like this.

“It’s not jealousy or anything. It’s just a doubt because it’s kind of strange that every ti there’s news going viral, it always has to be Mister Vincent in it. So, I’m just a little bit concerned if one of our main damage players is just soone who’s only good at self-promoting, but not the fighting skills. Apart from that, Mister Vincent’s level is only 100. To be specific, his level is even lower than mine. So, will you really be a main damage player for the army? To be honest, I’m not very sure about that at all.”

“You!”

“You’re saying that...!”

Two voices spoke up as the owners were about to get up from the chairs. However, they were stopped by Wisana, who was sitting between Maysa and Tunwa, as he pulled their arms back down.

The two were startled by that because Wisana had never treated them like this before. He was normally gentle. So, how he yanked their arms harshly like this was a clear warning that they should never say anything anymore.

“That’s true,” Wisana said smilingly. “I’ve never seen myself as a skilled player for once either. So, I don’t think I can be counted on in a life-and-death situation. Maybe our guild will have to rely on Mister William for that since he has a higher level than . I won’t be able to use my power of self-promotion to threaten the enemies in the war anyway, right?”
