“What, are you serious?”

Wisana saw Tunwa’s shocked face, then he smiled brightly right away.

“I was kidding, bro. I’m not so kind of galomaniac. Why would I do sothing like that?”

He spoke before smacking his best friend’s shoulder back, making the shocked one smile wryly.

“You really got . To be honest, it creeps out when you turn into Vincent.”

And how would Wisana hold his laughter back when he saw his friend sound creeped out when he spoke like that?

But taking only a few steps after that, his shirt got yanked harshly by Maysa, as a signal to quit joking around already. Because in front of them right now, there were two people waiting for them, right beside the eting hall’s entrance as well.

Seeing that, Wisana grinned widely, while Maysa was not seemingly so happy.

“I hope our limousine was comfortable enough for you.”

A gentle voice greeted when the Nesis walked up to the entrance. The speaker was a man with long hair letting down on his back. His rust-colored eyes with long lashes looked so beautiful like a woman. He was wearing a coat with red stitching, and the GM logo on the back.

“By the way, I’d like to say, welco, the Nesis guild mbers to this major eting this year.”

The GM said with a smile on his face.

At the sa ti, Wisana nodded as he walked to him.

“I have to thank GM Thada for kindly sending a limousine to pick us up from our guild like this.”

He said, holding his hand out in front of him.

“I was just doing my job. Also, it was Anne’s idea, not mine.”

Thada replied while he was shaking hands with Wisana in greeting, then he looked behind his back to send another woman there a signal to co forward and take the credit as well. And with just a glimpse of her, Wisana could recognize that this woman with long shiny black hair was GM Anne, or Rattana.

“It’s been a while since our last eting, Mister Wisana.” She greeted him instantly.

“That’s right, Miss Anne.”

Then they both shook hands slightly before Rattana turned her eyes to Waree as well.

“You, too. Why didn’t you co to visit at all, Nam?”

“I’ve been caught up with the guild’s works lately, Anne.”

Waree said as she scratched her forehead and stuck her tongue out, making Rattana knock this cheeky girl on the forehead out of endearnt softly.

“Let’s have a chat later. We’re running late for the eting here.”

But it was Maysa who interrupted them in a sharp, decisive voice, implying that the GMs should lead them inside already. Because she did not want to stay here for too long. Her light grey eyes were glancing at Thada from the corner of her eye. And the man chuckled after he saw the look in those eyes.

This woman still hated his guts like usual.

“Well, then, please co on in,” Thada said smilingly. “The seats for Mister Vincent and one follower are on the stage. And for the rest may take your seats in the first row.”

After speaking, Thada opened his palm behind him, making the door swing open. At the first second, there was a warm breeze from inside the room blowing past them gently. There was a dazzling bright light there, making them narrow their eyes away from it.

And when their eyes could adjust to that, the first thing they saw were many seats that were placed in rows like in a movie theater. Those vivid red chairs were mostly taken. There were only a few of them left in the first and second rows. Also, the most notable empty seats were the two seats at the long eting table on the stage.

When they first got through the entrance door, Wisana still heard so chattering noises. But a blink later, every eye in the room turned to look at the opening door with him standing in front of it. Then the chattering turned dead silent before every face turned to stare at him at the sa ti.

“Why does it have to be the first front row though, Mister Thada?”

Maysa asked without even stepping her foot inside the eting room. And hearing that question, the man curled up a smile.

“It’s nothing in particular, except that the first 10 ace guilds of the war need to be seated in the front, so it’s easier for us to have a discussion. But Miss Maysa might go sit with Mister Wisana as well. We allow one follower from each guild on the stage.”

“Of course, I might.” She said, before grabbing Wisana’s arm slightly like she was telling him to start walking already. “Anyway, still like being displeasing to people’s vibe like usual, huh, Mister.”

“If that’s a complint, I’ll accept that.”

Thada said politely as Maysa made a snorting sound out of her throat before she pushed her boyfriend into the room frustratedly.

The Nesis mbers started to feel that the walk to their seats was not enjoyable at all. Maybe that was because every eye was staring at them like they were the strangest creatures in the world. But in Wisana, Maysa, and Waree’s case, they seed like they were used to this kind of situation already, unlike the ones who had never attended such events before like Tunwa, Nuchjaree, and Warunya, who seed to be very nervous. And they sotis heard soone whispering, “Who are those three?” along the way as well.

Until now, they started to feel that it was a mistake to attend this eting, too.

“We part here, and you don’t have to say anything. Just listen.”

Maysa said in a serious voice. Even though they were smiling, the three knew that this eting would be very stressful. And for the guild leader and the brilliant brain chief of staff, there would surely be a lot of argunts with the other guilds!

So, there was no one who was more suitable for this job than Maysa and Wisana anymore.

When they tead up, their sassy mouths would not be second to anyone!

Then Wisana and Maysa separated from them to walk up on the stage inside the huge eting hall. And this was the mont where Nuchjaree and her friends felt strangely revived because every eye in the room had followed Wisana onto the stage finally.

Wisana and Maysa took a seat at the eting table. They intentionally left quite a lot of space between themselves and the ones who were already sitting there. Wisana glanced at them briefly and saw that none of the four gods had shown up here.

“Just so you know, try not to get on everyone’s nerves, before we finish choosing a side, okay?”

Maysa whispered to him quietly. Wisana turned to look at her.

“Yeah, yeah, I know that. You’ve told that many tis already. And I promise you, I won’t pick a fight with anyone.”

, if there’s no one starting it first.

He completed his sentence in his mind. And of course, it was like Maysa could hear his thoughts. So, she reached her hand down to smack his thigh softly, but hard enough to make him cry out, making the rest of the people at the table turn to look at him. Wisana pretended like there was nothing happening smoothly. Then he whispered.

“Why did you hit ?”

“Because your face already said it all, Mister Wisana. I’m serious, okay? Don’t pick a fight with anyone. If you make enemies before the war even starts, then they will pick a side that is against us, silly.”

Hearing that, Wisana started laughing amusedly right away.

“Don’t worry, babe. I won’t do that, if...”
