KNOCK! KNOCK!
She knocked on the door twice, before crossing her arms behind her back well-behaviorally. She was expecting that the man would open the door with a sleepy face and swollen eyes surely. And when he did, she would yell ‘boo!’ at him and make him jump.
After thinking that, she started giggling by herself. Other guild mbers who were walking past the leader’s room looked at each other and thought that maybe their chief of staff worked too hard lately.
However, Maysa’s wait was getting a bit too long for her to just stand there anymore. It was strange that until now, the guy had not yet co to open the door for her, when normally, Wisana woke up very easily. No matter how tired or exhausted he was, just a knock on the door, he would jump out of bed already.
“Is he okay in there?”
The girl asked herself with her eyebrows frowning. And with the closeness they had for each other, Maysa did not hesitate to turn the doorknob and open it to go inside the room right away. If this was not the chief of staff or Waree, there was no way that anyone else would be able to do this, because Wisana had cast a spell on the doorknob already to prevent the other girls from violating his privacy.
After walking inside, Maysa looked around the room that did not quite look like a boy’s room, because it was neat and clean. There were oil paintings on the walls. The light blue curtains were waving at the window as the nice chilly morning breeze blew inside the room.
Then Maysa looked at the large bed that was placed by the window and saw that soone was lying there underneath the blanket as it was raised. After that, she smiled sweetly right away.
“Co on, man. You’re totally defeated, huh?” She said and shook her head slightly, walking up to the bed. “Hey, it’s ti to wake up now, Sir. The sun is so bright up there already, why are you still sleeping in? How many tis have I told you that you have to co to first after you get back from a quest outside the guild? But here you are, sleeping.”
She said in a joking tone, before bending down to shake that body under the blanket a few tis.
“Na, wake up. How long are you going to keep sleeping? We have a eting to attend today in Dores, you know?” She said, before looking left and right with a slightly blushing face. “If you’re not waking up now, I’m going to charge you in three... two...”
No matter what she said, the one under the blanket still did not move at all. And seeing that, Maysa grinned, before counting to one and yanking the blanket out of him fast.
She ant to kiss him on the cheek, but the one she was about to kiss right here was not the one she had missed. This was soone else who was many tis smaller than Wisana. Moreover, this was a girl. A cute little black-haired girl who was supposed to be around 5 years old, to be more accurate. Her lips parted a little, showing Maysa that she was sleeping soundly.
“...Eh?”
----------------
“Hey, this dragon book of yours is so cool, Na.”
A lively voice spoke up with a pair of eyes looking through the latest information in the form of a book, impressed. And seeing that, the other one who was walking up to his side smiled widely.
“I know right,” Wisana said with a wide smile. “I had to struggle a lot to get it. If it wasn’t that cool, it’d just be a waste of my effort.”
Hearing that, the brown-haired man burst out a laugh.
“You’re right. If I found out after I passed the tests that the class sucked, I’d be shocked, too.”
“Well, yeah.”
The owner of those amber eyes turned to repeat with a grin. After that he unbuttoned his white inner shirt and put on his new uniform with a pair of red shoulder loops and a red armband, showing the total difference between his and other guild mbers.’
“My new uniform is a little bit too tight,” Wisana complained indiscreetly. “...And I have to wear it on top of a shirt, too. Good thing that the weather around our guild is quite cold, or this will totally make sweat.”
“Stop complaining too much.” Tunwa grinned widely. “That jacket might look plain, but it increases the stats that are suitable for the wearer’s play style. You know. Ae really put the effort into creating the uniform. For example, my uniform can increase my armor points up to 70%, and there’s a chance that it will reflect magical attacks and ranged weapons by 50%, too. It’s totally like a rare item.”
Wisana looked at his best friend who was acting over excited over his new toy, which was a suit jacket like his, but Tunwa’s had blue shoulder loops.
“Don’t you ever think about selling it to the market again, though.” The leader warned. “No matter how broke you are, there’re going to be a lot of troubles if you sell it to anyone else.”
“Hey, what kind of person do you think I am? I will never put the guild’s item for sale to make money for my own.”
Tunwa snapped.
“Then who’s the dog that stole my grand cross knuckle-duster and sold it to the dark market last ti?”
Hearing that, Tunwa jumped instantly, before turning to give his best friend a completely dry smile.
“It’s this dog.” He said, pointing a finger at himself. “I was totally broke back then, and the greed ca clouding my mind. So, a good man like was misguided for a while.”
“I’m insulting you right now, but you can still shalessly make an excuse, huh, you asshat.”
Wisana said as he gestured like he was about to knock his friend’s head for once. But Tunwa knew that, so he drew back from the other. Wisana let out a long sigh.
“Everything you took and sold was all good items. Don’t you know that it’s awfully hard to find them and buy them back? Are you here to be my friend or to steal my items and sell them for money for yourself?”
“Well, isn’t that cool? You get both a friend and a thief in your guild.” Tunwa said, then smiled cheekily.
“Huh? You really are shaless and deserve to be kicked for once.”
“Oops, don’t be too strict, Sir.” Tunwa jumped again.
anwhile, Wisana could only shake his head wearily. Sotis, Tun could be mature and take things more seriously than this as well. But 80% of the ti, his life was full of nonsense. And he always stole stuff from Wisana. Personally, Wisana did not mind that, because Tunwa and he had been sharing everything since they were in high school, but Maysa just did not think the sa.
So, please...
Please behave more acceptably for his girlfriend a bit!
He was so tired of making an excuse for Tunwa when Maysa scolded him, like co on!
“By the way, you’ve been acting a lot like a guild’s leader lately.”
Tunwa purposedly, smoothly changed the topic. Wisana knew that but acted like he did not mind.
“How?” He asked back.
“Well, look at you, looking so cool in the new uniform. This armband is red like the first model of the butterfly effect. You’re like a football team’s captain now.”
“Ae just designed it to fit everyone. That’s all.”
He said wearily, before heading back to his private room. Actually, he had not slept since he was back from the dragon class office because Tunwa was back from a monster hunting around the east sea at the sa ti. When Wisana saw his friend, he hurriedly took his baby dragon to sleep in his room and then went out again with his best friend to exchange about what happened on their trips. And before they realized it, it was morning already.
