After getting Lin Zhengran’s approval, Little He Qing nodded at her mom.

“He said it’s okay to call.”

Aunt He bead with joy, dialed the number, and He Qing handed her the phone.

Lin Zhengran’s voice ca through first: “Aunt He, it’s been a while since we talked. How have you been lately?”

“Zhengran, it really has been a long ti. I’ve been doing pretty well.”

Aunt He slowly sat down on the couch, gestured to her daughter and mother to keep quiet, then put the phone on speaker.

She felt a bit inexplicably nervous. “Zhengran, how’s the trip with our Qingqing going? Has she caused you any trouble?”

Adults always start with pleasantries. Lin Zhengran was used to it by now, but Little He Qing, sitting beside her, couldn’t help thinking—how did I cause any trouble?

Lin Zhengran replied, “Of course not. He Qing has been really well-behaved, no trouble at all.”

Little He Qing’s face flushed. He always said that… even back on the birthday bed.

“Thank you for taking such good care of Qingqing. Um, Auntie wants to ask you sothing—do you know dicine, Zhengran?”

“Yeah, a bit. You know I read a lot, and I sotis study all kinds of odd stuff. When I was younger, I didn’t have the resources to really get into it, but now that I’m older, I’ve started looking into more things.

The other day I heard from He Qing that Grandma’s not doing well, hurt her back. So I made sothing myself, brewed so dicine. I’m not sure if it helped?”

Aunt He was stunned. Making dicine? Most people couldn’t pull that off.

Grandma, hearing that, spoke up with her old but cheerful voice:

“Zhengran, you’re amazing. My body’s already much better. My back doesn’t hurt at all anymore. The doctors around here said my back was incurable, an old injury. I never thought I’d recover.”

It was Lin Zhengran’s first ti talking directly to He Qing’s grandma:

“Grandma, you’re here too? As long as you’ve recovered, that’s what matters. This dicine was specially prepared for you. After you took it…”

At that point, Aunt He and Grandma exchanged a glance. Grandma quickly said into the phone:

“Zhengran, wait a second. Grandma’s gonna grab a pen and paper to write this down!”

Little He Qing reacted fast and helped her grandma get a notepad and pen.

Lin Zhengran smiled. “No need, Grandma, I just wanted to remind you…”

Once the pen and paper were ready, Aunt He placed the phone down and grabbed the pen seriously, like she was speaking with a top-tier expert. “Okay, okay, go ahead, Zhengran. We’re listening.”

Lin Zhengran chuckled awkwardly:

“The dicine I gave you will help your back and so other minor issues recover. But you’re still getting older, so don’t go overboard just because you feel better.

You can exercise moderately, do so light chores, take walks, go shopping—that’s all fine. But don’t strain yourself or lift heavy things right away, or it could cause another injury.”

When he first refined this elixir, Lin Zhengran had checked its effects. It worked similarly to what he gave Jiang Jingshi before.

In other words, the elixir could cure illnesses and heal damaged parts of the body. To a certain extent, once the body was free of illness, a person could live longer. But it didn’t actually reverse aging or extend lifespan in the truest sense.

Even after taking the elixir, the body would still deteriorate with age.

Unless… it was one of those intimate monts he shared with He Qing, Wenwen, or Lili. That’s the only way to truly extend soone’s life, slow aging, and improve beauty.

Simply put, having sex was way more effective than taking the elixir! After all, due to his cultivation, Lin Zhengran’s body was brimming with spirit energy. During intimacy, his partner would absorb his pure white spirit liquid, making the effects far stronger than any elixir.

And every ti, he’d give those three girls multiple rounds.

After hearing his advice, Aunt He jotted it all down and imdiately shot a glare at her mother: “Mom, you heard what Zhengran said. Don’t go overdoing it right away!”

Grandma was speechless. She thought to herself—well, it’s been years since I’ve been active. Now that I’m fully recovered, I really wanted to move around.

Grandma chuckled. “I got it, Zhengran. Thank you so much! Without that dicine, who knows how much longer I’d be stuck in bed.”

“Don’t ntion it. Just focus on staying healthy, getting so exercise, and keeping well.”

“Got it, got it.”

Aunt He continued, “I really appreciate everything, Zhengran. By the way, Qingqing ntioned there’s one for too? What kind of dicine is that?”

“Yes. I sent He Qing two pills in total. One for Grandma, one for you. The one that’s left is for you. It’s more of a supplent—strengthens the body, no side effects.”

Aunt He smiled. “I see. Actually, I’ve been working overti a lot lately. My neck’s been feeling a little off, and…” She rubbed her neck, then seed a bit embarrassed. She took the phone and walked to the side, covering her mouth.

“Auntie stepped out to say this in private. It’s kinda embarrassing. I was planning to go to the hospital this week, but since you’re so good with dicine, I’ll just tell you—I’ve been having so… issues down there…”

Lin Zhengran listened and realized it wasn’t anything serious. “That’s a minor issue. Just take the pill I gave you—it should help.”

Aunt He nodded with a smile and returned to the living room with the phone.

Lin Zhengran reminded them:

“But Aunt He, Grandma, I need to tell you sothing. Please don’t tell anyone about the pills. They’re hard to make, take a long ti, and you definitely can’t buy them anywhere else. There’s only a few.

If soone else asks and I give them one, then when you need more, I won’t have any left. So please, keep it a secret.”

In truth, Lin Zhengran could make one in seconds now. But to avoid trouble, it was better to spin this story. As long as the supply seed limited, no one would talk.

Aunt He and Grandma both nodded.

They figured as much—dicine that powerful had to be rare.

“Got it, Auntie promises! We won’t say a word! We don’t want to cause you any trouble.”

But Aunt He suddenly thought of sothing: “But since this pill is so precious…” She looked over at her daughter.

“Zhengran, what if I gave mine to Qingqing instead? You said it’s just a strengthening supplent, right? I’m in pretty good shape. Sure, I’ve got those little issues, but a hospital visit could handle them. So maybe just…”

Lin Zhengran smiled. “No need, Auntie. I made this one just for you. And I get what you’re saying, but since He Qing’s with now, how could I not give her the best first? So the one for you—please take it yourself. Don’t worry about He Qing.”

Little He Qing, sitting on the couch, blushed and bit her lip.

Aunt He felt reassured hearing that. “Good, good, that puts my mind at ease! Thank you so much, Zhengran! Giving us sothing this rare—I don’t even know how to thank you!”
