This morning, after Jiang Jingshi, Jiang Qian, and Fang ng got scolded by their parents and sat through the family eting at the villa, Jiang Jingshi returned to her bedroom, holding her phone, deep in thought.

She debated whether it would be better to call him or just go find him directly.

Calling would be quick and convenient, and she could hear his voice right away. But if she called, Lin Zhengran would definitely tell her to stay ho and rest properly after her recent illness. She couldn’t exactly disobey him, which ant she wouldn’t get to see him.

But if she went to find him, would that seem a bit too forward?

Was it appropriate for a girl to go to a boy’s house on her own initiative?

Would it co across as impolite? But...

She was basically his girlfriend now, so visiting him shouldn't be an issue… and she really, really wanted to see him.

Even when it ca to making big decisions for her company, Jiang Jingshi had never been this torn before.

But she knew one thing: whether it was business or life, hesitation only led to failure.

In the end, she spotted a coin on her bedroom desk and decided to leave it to fate.

Heads ant she would call, tails ant she would go find him. One toss to decide everything.

She tossed the coin lightly. Heads.

Jiang Jingshi stared blankly at the coin in her hand, her gentle gaze dazed, and muttered to herself, “This one doesn’t count. One more toss.”

Tails.

She smiled, quickly called Pan Lin over to buy gifts and get ready to visit Lin Zhengran.

Which led to the scene happening now.

Inside the house, Lin Zhengran stood, looking at Jiang Jingshi standing at the door in jeans and a pure white long-sleeve shirt, elegant and gentle.

Now recovered, Jiang Jingshi’s complexion was glowing with a healthy flush, and her slightly wavy long hair made her look even more stunning.

In the hallway behind her stood Pan Lin and three to five n in suits, each carrying a pile of gifts.

Lin Zhengran looked puzzled. “What are you doing here?”

Jiang Jingshi hadn’t expected Lin Zhengran to be the one opening the door — she thought it would be his mom or dad.

Surprised, she said, “Zhengran… I ca to see you.”

Pan Lin also smiled and greeted, “Good morning, Mr. Lin.”

Lin Xiaoli, who was sitting on the couch, got up and walked over. “Who is it, Zhengran? Who’s here?”

But when she saw Jiang Jingshi standing at the door, she froze.

For a mont, Lin Xiaoli felt like this girl looked familiar, but that thought was quickly thrown out as she was stunned by Jiang Jingshi’s beauty.

There was a mature, big-sisterly vibe about Jiang Jingshi — gentle and elegant, the kind of beauty that would make anyone think, she’s so gorgeous.

Even though Jiang Jingshi had t plenty of clients and business leaders before, she had never been this nervous visiting Lin Zhengran’s ho.

Not knowing how to greet them properly, she gave a slight bow and said, “Hello, Auntie, I’m...”

Lin Xiaoli blurted out, eyes wide, “Here to see Zhengran again?”

“Again? Mm, yes.”

Oh my god... As long as a good-looking girl showed up at their house, it was definitely for Zhengran!

She hurriedly called out softly to her husband, “Honey, honey! Quick, get over here! We’ve got trouble! Another girl’s co to our house!”

Hearing this, Lin Yingjun was also surprised and got up.

When the two of them saw Jiang Jingshi, they gasped again.

Just how was their son pulling this off?!

From He Qing, to Lily, to Wenwen, to Little ng, and now this one...

Was it that every outstandingly beautiful girl would be drawn to their son?!

How many was this now? How were they ever going to deal with this later?!

Lin Zhengran, however, looked pretty relaxed, though he hadn't expected Jiang Jingshi to actually co.

Lin Yingjun asked blankly, “Are you Zhengran’s friend?”

Jiang Jingshi answered quickly, “Yes, I’m Jiang...”

She hadn’t expected to get so nervous under Lin Xiaoli and Lin Yingjun’s stares, and she stumbled over her words.

Lin Zhengran continued for her, “Jingshi. She’s Jiang Jingshi.”

Lin Yingjun, Lin Xiaoli, and Jiang Jingshi all turned to look at him.

Jiang Jingshi blushed and nodded. “Yes, Jiang Jingshi.”

The couple exchanged a glance, their eyes practically communicating a whole conversation.

Lin Zhengran didn’t care about his parents’ surprise — they were always like this — leaving people hanging at the door.

So he said to Jiang Jingshi, “Co in. Let’s talk in my room.”

She replied, “Okay. Uncle, Auntie, sorry to bother you. Since this is my first visit, I brought so gifts for you both.”

She turned and signaled Pan Lin to set the gifts down.

Pan Lin also politely said, “Uncle, Auntie, nice to see you again,” and motioned for the suited n behind her to bring in all the gifts.

Big bags, small bags, all kinds of expensive-looking presents — around forty to fifty boxes in total.

Lin Yingjun, still reeling from the shock of his son’s popularity with won, was now stunned by the mountain of gifts.

He asked, puzzled, “You brought this much? That’s enough, that’s enough!”

Lin Zhengran was also curious. “Why so many?”

Jiang Jingshi honestly didn’t know how much she should bring for her first visit to her boyfriend’s house, so she had Pan Lin prepare four entire carloads of gifts.

Only one car's half load was brought in — the rest were still at the complex entrance.

Jiang Jingshi had planned to gauge their reaction and decide when to stop, knowing that bringing too much would be awkward, but too little would be worse.

After all, Lin Zhengran’s parents would be her parents too in the future.

“Was it too much?” she asked.

Lin Zhengran looked at the "half wall" of gifts and said, “Of course it’s a lot. And it’s not even done yet? How much more is there?”

Jiang Jingshi glanced at Pan Lin, signaling that it was enough, then said, “Just this much.”

Lin Zhengran was speechless.

From her look at Pan Lin just now, he knew there was probably still more...

He turned to his parents and said, “Mom, Dad, we’re heading to my room. Don’t disturb us unless it’s important.”

Lin Xiaoli, still confused, pointed at the pile. “But Zhengran, this...”

Before she could finish, Lin Zhengran had already led Jiang Jingshi to his room.

Pan Lin didn’t follow them;

instead, she and the suited n withdrew and waited downstairs.

With the bedroom door and the front door closed, everything suddenly fell silent again.

Lin Xiaoli and Lin Yingjun stared at their son’s bedroom door for a long mont before exchanging another look.

Lin Xiaoli said, “Honey, do you know what I’m thinking?”

Lin Yingjun nodded. “I think so. But I bet you can’t even put it into words.”

“Yeah, my head’s a ss right now. But as long as you know, that’s fine. I just want to say...

At this rate, can Zhengran even handle it? Isn’t he getting a bit too...flirtatious?”

Lin Yingjun said blankly, “Yeah, but honestly, isn’t it a little late to bring that up now?”

The two of them said in unison, “Late or not, we definitely need to find ti to have a serious talk with Zhengran about this. Otherwise, if it keeps going like this, it’ll be a disaster!”

Lin Xiaoli walked over to the mountain of gifts, puzzled.

“What does this girl do, exactly? How co she bought so much stuff? How much money is this? And I don’t even recognize most of these brands. Just a rough guess — it’s gotta be worth at least ten grand.”

Lin Yingjun recognized a few familiar brands. He picked up a box of dried fruit and suddenly frowned.

“Ten grand? I’ve seen this brand before. Just this box alone costs over three thousand.”

“What? That expensive? Where’d you see it? I’ve never even heard of it,” Lin Xiaoli asked, confused.

Lin Yingjun said matter-of-factly, “I’m a governnt worker after all...”

Lin Xiaoli quickly covered his mouth. “You better not say stuff like that!”

Lin Yingjun rolled his eyes. “Relax. I’m just a regular civil servant. It’s all aboveboard. And anyway, I didn’t actually buy it — just heard about it from others.”

Lin Xiaoli looked at the boxes again and gasped, picking one up.

“There’s Maotai too?! Is this real?! What does this girl’s family even do?!”
