In the morning, while Lin Zhengran was at the lab, he called Pan Lin to ask if anything had happened at the company over the past two days. From the worried tone in Pan Lin's voice, he imdiately suspected that sothing was up. Sure enough, after so probing, Pan Lin told him about Jiang Jingshi's hospitalization a few days ago.
At the ti, Lin Zhengran only asked one question, "Which room is she in?"
Pan Lin gave him the room number, and he simply replied, "Got it, I'll go check on her," then hung up.
Inside the hospital room, Jiang Qian and Fang ng were still worried because Jiang Jingshi had just experienced a brief spell of dizziness. But as the door opened, everyone turned toward the entrance.
They thought it would be a doctor or nurse doing rounds, but when they saw that familiar figure—the one that always gave people a sense of security—all three of them froze for a second.
Especially Jiang Jingshi. She hadn't expected him to show up so suddenly. Her tired eyes instantly lit up, her eyes widened, and she even forgot she was sick as she sat up.
Seeing all three of them there, Lin Zhengran greeted them casually, "You're all here? How's Jiang Jie doing?"
Jiang Jingshi felt like she was dreaming. Over these past two days, the person she most wanted to see was Lin Zhengran—not just because he was looking for a cure, but because just seeing him could calm her anxious heart.
"Zhengran... little brother..." she called out softly.
Lin Zhengran walked to Jiang Jingshi's side and reached out to take her pulse. His dical skills were no longer what they used to be. With Level 3 Master of All Things, he could now observe every detail of Jiang Jingshi's current physical condition.
After finishing the check, he let out a sigh of relief, "The illness is a bit worse than before, and your body is weaker, but it's nothing serious for now."
"Lin Zhengran..." Jiang Qian looked at him. She knew her sister had been hoping to see him these past few days, but she had no idea what exactly he was planning.
Fang ng was also staring at Lin Zhengran, wanting to speak but hesitating. It felt like, in everyone's eyes, his appearance always made the impossible possible.
Lin Zhengran turned to them, "You two have been here for several days now, haven't you? You both look exhausted. Go get so rest, I'll take it from here."
The two of them said nothing, just kept staring at him.
He reminded them again, "Relax, I'm not just here to visit. I'm here to treat her. If you trust , go get so rest and co back tomorrow. Maybe by then, Jiang Jie will already be recovering. If you all stay here, you'll just get in the way."
Fang ng’s eyes widened. So, Lin Zhengran really had been working on Jiang Jingshi’s illness these past few days?
Jiang Qian's usually cool eyes also widened, her voice shifting from doubt to excitent, "What do you an, she might recover by tomorrow? Are you saying this illness can be cured?! Lin Zhengran, you have a way?!"
Lin Zhengran didn’t answer directly, just smiled.
Jiang Qian stared at those eyes of his, still as confident as ever. In a daze, she quickly responded, "Alright, then Xiao ng and I will leave now! If you can cure my sister, I—no, the entire Jiang family—will owe you a huge favor!"
Seeing the light return to Jiang Qian's previously despairing eyes, Fang ng quickly added, "Then we won’t disturb you. What ti should we co back tomorrow?"
Lin Zhengran thought for a mont, "After noon, around twelve."
The two nodded. After taking one last look at Jiang Jingshi, they left without hesitation.
Jiang Jingshi called after them softly, "You two be careful on your way ho."
In just that short minute, the conversation between Jiang Qian, Fang ng, and Lin Zhengran wasn't long. In fact, Lin Zhengran didn’t even explain how he planned to treat the illness or what thod he would use. But neither Jiang Qian nor Fang ng doubted him for a second.
After they left, Jiang Jingshi stared at Lin Zhengran’s profile.
Her pale face now had a faint blush. "You're here..."
She wanted to hug him, but having never been in a relationship, she didn't dare. She just clenched her fists and stared at him without blinking.
Lin Zhengran also looked at her and casually sat down by the bed. "Yeah, I just called Sister Pan. She told you were in the hospital, so I ca right away."
Jiang Jingshi smiled from the bottom of her heart. "I’m fine, you don’t have to worry too much. I even told her not to tell you, afraid it would distract you. But it still..."
"I called her first. How could she be distracting ? Besides, I’ve already developed the dicine to cure you. That’s why I ca."
"Huh?"
Jiang Jingshi’s face was filled with disbelief, thinking she must have misheard.
After all, it had only been a few days. This illness, which had stumped so many experts for so long and was considered incurable, how could he have co up with sothing in less than a week?
Lin Zhengran repeated calmly, "I said I’ve already developed sothing that can cure you. But it’s a little unusual. I don’t think anyone in this world has ever taken sothing like this. So after you take it later, just lie down, stay calm, and let observe how your body reacts."
He really didn’t know what kind of reaction a normal person would have after taking a pill infused with Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi, so he was being extrely cautious.
But Jiang Jingshi didn't even hear the second half of his sentence. She was still stuck on the first part, "You’re saying you’ve already made the dicine? So soon?! It really only took you less than a week?"

Her expression grew complicated as she stared at Lin Zhengran blankly, marveling at just how much of a genius he was. As her pupils trembled, a stream of tears silently slid down her face.

Jiang Jingshi, trembling, said, "What do you an what’s wrong?"
She didn’t even realize she was crying until she felt the tears on her cheeks, and hurriedly wiped them away.
She mumbled to herself, "Why am I crying? I’m not sad at all. I just... I didn’t think you’d actually... make it happen so quickly..."
Lin Zhengran watched as Jiang Jingshi kept wiping her tears, staring straight at him. He understood—despite her soft expression looking the sa as always, and even though she believed in him, deep down, she was still terrified.
Maybe, sowhere inside, she was really afraid that she would never be able to get out of bed again for the rest of her life.
But the words Lin Zhengran said just now were like a beacon, transforming all that fear into hope.
Seeing how emotional she was, Lin Zhengran reached out to wipe her tears.
Just like last ti in the car, the mont his hand touched her face, Jiang Jingshi could no longer hold back. She threw herself into his arms.
Lin Zhengran held her tightly as she cried uncontrollably and tried to comfort her, "Don’t cry. Didn’t I already say I found a way?"
Jiang Jingshi broke into a teary smile and hugged him even tighter.
Lin Zhengran gently stroked her long hair. "Let’s hold on like this for a bit, then we’ll start the treatnt."
