~Hana~
God, I was having the absolute best ti of my life, tangled up in these sheets that slled like sweat and sex, with Anning’s head on my chest and Woo Min’s arm slung over both of us. My thighs were still shaking, my pussy throbbing in that good wrecked way, and I couldn’t stop grinning like an idiot because I’d finally gotten these two stubborn assholes to fuck each other while I watched and directed the whole damn show. It was perfect. ssy, loud, hateful, hot everything I wanted.
I was already plotting round three in my head, sothing involving Anning’s strap and Woo Min on his knees begging, when I felt it. Or didn’t feel it. Whatever.
Woo Min shifted, pulled his arm back, and just... stopped. Like soone flipped a switch. The rut that had been rolling off him all night, that desperate, needy rut that had him pounding into both of us like he’d die if he didn’t cum again, it was gone. Completely gone. He rolled onto his back, stared at the ceiling, chest still heaving but not from wanting more. From sothing else.
I propped up on one elbow, poked his ribs. "Hey. Are you dead or just pretending so you don’t have to go again?"
He didn’t laugh. Didn’t even smirk. Just swallowed hard and muttered, "I’m good. I’m... done."
Anning lifted her head, hair sticking to her face, eyes narrowing. "Done? You were literally begging to cum inside ten minutes ago."
"Yeah, well." He rubbed both hands over his face, voice muffled. "Things change."
I laughed, because what the fuck. "Things change? You’ve been hard for three hours straight, Woo Min. Your dick was inside , then her, then again. You ca twice. And now you’re ’done’? Bullshit."
He sat up fast, sheets pooling around his waist, and the look on his face shut up for half a second. Not satisfied. Not tired. Panicked. Like full-on eyes wide, breathing shallow panicked.
"I’m serious, Hana. I can’t. Not anymore."
Anning snorted. "Oh my God , did we finally break him? Is this what blue balls feel like when they reverse?"
"It’s not funny," he snapped, and his voice cracked at the end. Actually cracked.
I stared at him. "What the hell is going on with you?"
He opened his mouth, closed it, then finally blurted it out like it hurt. "My soulmate. he’s close. I can feel it. Like... pulling. In my chest. It’s him."
Anning barked out a laugh so loud it echoed. "Your soulmate? Are you fucking kidding right now?"
I didn’t laugh. I couldn’t. Because I’d heard this before. Word for word. Years ago.
I felt my stomach drop, cold and heavy.
Anning stopped laughing when she saw my face. "Hana?"
I couldn’t answer. Just stared at Woo Min like he’d slapped .
He wouldn’t look at . Kept rubbing his chest like it ached. "I’m sorry. I didn’t plan this. I thought it was just... "
"Just what?" I cut in, voice sharp enough to slice. "Just a fun little threeso with your ex and her girlfriend? Just scratching an itch until your magical princess showed up?"
"No, I... "
Then there was a knock at the door.
Not a polite knock. A hard, angry one. Three bangs that made all of us jump.
Woo Min went white. Actually white. Started shaking, full body trembling, hands clutching the sheets. "Fuck. Fuck, it’s him."
"Him who?" Anning asked, already reaching for her shirt on the floor.
"Junho," Woo Min whispered, like saying the na louder would make it worse. "It’s Junho."
Another knock, harder. "Woo Min! Open the fucking door!"
Woo Min shot out of bed, naked, stumbling over his own feet, grabbing his boxers off the lamp where they’d landed earlier. "Shit, shit, shit...."
I sat there frozen, brain trying to catch up. Junho?
Anning pulled her tank over her head, muttering, "Great. Drama o’clock. My favorite."
Woo Min yanked the door open just enough to stick his head out, trying to block the view inside. "Junho, man, this isn’t....."
The door slamd open anyway, shoving Woo Min back hard enough he hit the wall. This guy stord in dark hair ssy, eyes red like he’d been crying or drinking or both. Wearing a hoodie that looked slept in. He looked around the room, took in the bed, the sheets, and Anning half-dressed, the sll of sex still thick in the air, and his face twisted.
Then he slapped Woo Min. Hard. Open palm, loud crack across the cheek.
Anning winced. "Damn."
Woo Min didn’t even block it. Just took it, head snapping to the side, hand coming up slow to touch his face.
"You fucking asshole," Junho yelled, voice breaking. "I waited for you. I texted you all night. You said you were coming over after work and then nothing. Radio silence. And now I track your phone and you’re here? With them?"
"Junho... " Woo Min started, voice small.
"Don’t." Junho shoved him in the chest, not hard, just enough to make space. "Don’t you dare say my na like that. Like you care."
Anning leaned over to , whispering, "Should we... do sothing?"
I shook my head. Couldn’t move.
Woo Min’s eyes were glassy now. "I told you from the start. I told you I wasn’t... I was just. "
"Just what?" Junho scread, tears spilling over now, ugly and loud. "Just fucking until sothing better ca along? Just using ? I fell for you, you idiot! I actually fell for you and you knew it and you let !"
Woo Min flinched like every word hit harder than the slap. "I didn’t an to hurt you. I swear. You were just... you were supposed to be casual. A buddy. Sex buddy. That’s it."
Junho laughed. "A buddy. Right. That’s why I acted like I loved you last ti we had sex and you kissed and didn’t say it back but stayed anyway."
Woo Min looked wrecked. "I’m sorry. I felt the pull tonight. It stopped everything."
Junho wiped his face hard with his sleeve.
Anning raised an eyebrow. "He ntioned it about five minutes ago, yeah."
Junho nodded, laughing again without humor. "Perfect timing, Woo Min. Real classy."
I finally found my voice. It ca out quiet. "He told the sa thing. When he left for the first ti."
Junho looked at , really looked, and sothing in his face softened. " Hana really? ."
"Yeah."
I swallowed hard. Flashbacks hitting all at once Woo Min packing his bag that morning rushing to yu Jin , saying he couldn’t fight the feeling anymore, that he doesn’t and didn’t want , it was never anyone who wanted him. begging him to stay, telling him I was desperate. And realizing he only fucked for his good and I still set him up with Junho.
Anning slid her hand into mine under the sheets. Squeezed.
Junho turned back to Woo Min. "You’re pathetic. You chase this feeling your whole life and hurt everyone who actually gives a shit about you. Good luck with your soulmate. Hope they’re everything you dread."
He shoved past Woo Min, slamd the door so hard the fra shook.
Silence.
Woo Min slid down the wall until he was sitting on the floor, head in his hands, shoulders shaking. Not crying loud, just quiet, broken breathing.
Anning stared at him for a long second, then looked at . "You okay?"
I shook my head. "No."
She pulled closer, arm tight around my waist. " neither."
I leaned into her, voice cracking. "I’m sorry. I dragged you into this. I thought I was finally over him ."
Anning kissed my temple, softly. "Hey. Stop. You didn’t drag anywhere. I wanted to hate-fuck him too, I wanted to love you too."
I laughed. "Yeah, well. Mission accomplished."
Woo Min’s voice ca from the floor, small. "I didn’t an for this to happen."
"Shut up," Anning snapped. "Just... shut up."
He did.
I wiped my face, angry at the tears. "You always do this, Woo Min. You show up, you fuck everything up, you leave when it gets real. And we let you."
He didn’t argue.
Anning rubbed my back slowly. "Hana. Look at ."
I did.
Her eyes were steady. "I don’t want to stay here and watch this train wreck anymore. I’m done."
" too," I whispered.
She nodded once. "Then let’s go. Right now. Pack a bag, get on a plane, go sowhere far. Just us."
I blinked. "Like... leave?"
"Yeah. Leave. Fuck this city, fuck him, fuck soulmates and rut and all of it. I want you. Only you. We’ll figure the rest out later."
My chest hurt, but in a good way for once. "Where?"
She shrugged, smirking even though her eyes were wet. "Anywhere. Bali. Greece. Fucking Antarctica if you want. I don’t care as long as it’s far from this ss."
I laughed, real this ti, even as tears kept coming. "You hate the cold."
"Then not Antarctica. But anywhere else. Co on, baby. Say yes."
"Yes," I said.
Anning grinned, pulled into a kiss.
We got out of bed, started throwing clothes into bags without talking much. Just moving. Fast.
Woo Min finally spoke when I zipped my suitcase. "You’re really going?"
"Yeah," I said, not looking at him. "We really are."
He stood up slowly, voice hoarse. "I’m sorry."
Anning slung her bag over her shoulder. "Save it. Send us a postcard when you find your princess."
I grabbed Anning’s hand. "Ready?"
"Born ready."
We walked out, didn’t slam the door, just closed it quietly.
In the hallway, Anning pulled out her phone, already searching flights. "There’s one to Bangkok in five hours. Layover in Seoul, then straight there."
"Book it."
She did, fingers flying, grinning like a maniac. "Two tickets. Window and aisle. Fuck middle seats forever."
I leaned against the wall, laughing through the tears. "You’re insane."
"You love it."
"Yeah," I said, pulling her close. "I really do."
She kissed again, deeper this ti, hands in my hair.
Behind us, through the door, we could hear Woo Min crying. Not loud. Just enough to know he was alone now.
I didn’t feel bad.
I felt free.
Anning grabbed my hand, tugged toward the elevator. "Co on. Let’s go start our actual life."
And just like that, we left him to sort out his ss.
I didn’t look back once.
