Yunfeng nodded.

Muchen glared up at the living light bulb. "I hate you."

"I know. But you gotta go, buddy. It’s late at night; the nurses will co around, and what will they think if they see a ga film star moping around in this room? I don’t want to be attacked by paparazzi. Thank you."

Muchen sighed.

The annoying light bulb was right.

"Text the ti of your discharge. I’ll pick you guys up." Muchen gently pulled his warm hand close to his face and kissed his knuckles. "See you later."

The young man blushed with his head down. "S-see you."

Muchen gazed at the annoying guy with a victorious smirk and left the room with a swagger in his steps.

"He is so annoying," Jai plopped back on the bed. "Why do you even like that man?" He poked his friend’s blushing cheeks.

Yunfeng pouted. "I don’t know. I just like him."

"Then why didn’t you accept his proposal?" Jai laid down comfortably next to him. "I heard everything from outside."

Yunfeng twiddled with his fingers. "Right now it’s all physical attraction. I want to be imnsely in love with him before I accept his advances. Thanks for interrupting," he smiled at him softly. "Muchen is really seductive. If left alone, I will be swept away by him completely."

"I know that. Why do you think I ca in? Gosh, I hate being a cockblock too. But that guy really needs to chill. He would have jumped your bones if I wasn’t here." Jai pinched his hip. "Hehe... and who is he to say I can’t touch you?"

Chuckling, Yunfeng pushed his hand away with a pretentious grin. "He is right; you can’t touch like that."

"Gasp, my best friend. How can you change sides so quickly? You can’t listen to that lunatic."

Yunfeng gazed up at the ceiling with a bright grin. "What can I do? That man is winning my heart. I can’t help but follow his stupid orders."

"You are whipped."

Jai glanced at the small vase he was hugging in his arms. "Don’t be so easily swept away. He can’t just give you limp flowers and expect your heart in return." He flicked the flower’s head slightly.

Yunfeng protectively hugged the vase close. "Don’t touch it. It’s mine."

Jai sat there peering down at his silly friend. He knew Yunfeng was naïve, but he didn’t expect the guy to be so naïve. His gaze then fell on the bunch of roses that were in the trash bin. ’Who am I kidding? You are equally silly as that guy...’

"Does your darling know those flowers were from his assistant?"

Yunfeng gazed at the roses with a loud chuckle. "I don’t think he does. You should have seen his face. He looked like a sneaky cat when he tossed that away."

Jai smiled softly and hugged his best friend. "I’m kind of happy you found love."

"You will too."

"Tsk, of course. The love of my life actually works for your lover."

"Huh!" Yunfeng shot up. "You’re actually in love?"

"Yeah, she is an older woman," Jai smirked. "We are so in love..."
