Muchen slightly wiggled his butt as he sat down. It was weird. He had been having a strange tingling feeling all day. His hand gently touched his stomach. "I feel it right here... it’s so strange but good."

Weirdly, his whole body had been reacting this way since the last ti he t Yunfeng. His sex drive was up a notch, and he was constantly horny.

His mind was filled with the day they spent in that small room, touching and exploring their bodies.

"No! Don’t think of that!" He picked up the tall glass of lemonade and gulped it down. Recently, he had been craving lemon juice like crazy. He had no clue why.

"It never happened, it never ever happened..." Suddenly, he frowned. "Ever since that happened, Yunfeng never brought it up. Why is that? Did he find repulsive?"

The color drained from his face.

"Muchen ah, are you sure you’re not in pain?" Shao mumbled softly by his side. "You look pale."

Muchen scowled. "Do you think he...? Doesn’t matter. Give the new acquisition docunt. Did they send in a new quote?"

"They did." Shao handed the docunts to him. "Muchen... we should go to the doctor and get you checked again."

"No need. I’m fine." Muchen snapped loudly. "Just... just let’s finish this and get ho."

The rest of the day, his assistant/manager silently kept throwing worried looks his way.

By the ti they finished their work, it was late in the evening. Muchen gazed out the window, sighing loudly.

"Muchen ah."

"Shh, don’t talk. I’m not in the greatest mood today." His mood was very unstable today. Every single thing made him snap. ’I’m pretty sure I’ll chew Shao alive if he says another word.’ He sighed loudly, gazing back at his friend.

Shao lowered his head with a pout.

"Sleep will solve all my problems," he patted his back.

Shao perked up silently. "Really? Are you just sleep-deprived? Not in pain?"

"No, I’m not in pain." Muchen mumbled as he stepped into the elevator. ’Just slightly pent up. Why was Yunfeng like this? That kid really did that to and he never ntioned anything. We are still maintaining that ambiguous distance between us. It’s all his fault!’

He gritted his teeth loudly.

Shao froze. "Muchen..."

"Silence. I can’t think!" Growling, he rushed out of the elevator.

"What is wrong, ah? You can tell anything." Shao ran after him.

"I don’t know!! I don’t know what he’s thinking about. How can he be so ambiguous with ? It’s wrong in so many ways. I know he is a kid, but isn’t he supposed to take a slight initiative? I keep running to him, not the other way around. Why should I do that? I’m not the one who is deep in this shit! I won’t lose to him!!!" He shouted loudly, startling Shao.

"Um... who?"

"No one! That insignificant brat!!!" Shouting, Muchen slamd the car door and drove off, leaving Shao abandoned in the parking lot.

Sigh, looks like I’ve been abandoned...

Muchen drove down the streets, massaging his forehead. "That brat!" Grumbling, he picked up the bottle of lemon soda and gulped it down again. But it did quell the rage in his heart. "I’ll get an answer today!"

His car zood past many others and headed toward the slightly narrow roads. He slowed down slightly as he reached Yunfeng’s street. It was a busy evening, and he would not be able to park his car close to his house.

He drove around until he found a parking spot.

Muchen let out a deep breath. "He better give a satisfying answer." He wore his mask and a woolen hat and walked out.

With his head lowered, he ran to Yunfeng’s house and rang the doorbell.

Soon, loud footsteps ran toward the door.

Muchen felt his breath hitch. "I’m calm. I’m totally calm. Wait, why am I even here? What am I doing? What answer do I need... shit." He turned around and ran. In a hurry, he stepped on sothing slippery and toppled to the ground.

"Fuck!" Grumbling, Muchen sat up, holding his back.

A piece of tissue was stuck to his shoe. There was sothing sticky on it. "What is this..." He flicked it off with a frown. "Who threw this trash here?"

’That fall was really loud. Yunfeng could have heard it from inside.’ He hurriedly shot up, but a hand grabbed the back of his coat tightly, pulling him to a stop.

"Muchen... oh my god, it’s really you. Co in."

Yunfeng’s younger sister dragged him in forcefully.

"I... I’m not here... to... I was just... I..."

"So, you’re here to et my brother?" She smirked oddly.

"No! I... I ca to the wrong location. I’ll leave now." He ran to the door, but the little girl grabbed a tight hold of his coat.

"Aww, you’re so cute. Co sit. I’ll bring you sothing to drink. You look parched." She gestured to her lips.

Frowning, Muchen touched his own lips. They were dry and flaky.

"Wait, you don’t have to! I’m leaving."

"Yunfeng is sick," she mumbled softly as she fumbled around with things in the fridge.

He froze. "What? He is sick?"

"Umm, he caught a weird flu. It’s been persistent for days. He rarely leaves his room." She mumbled, looking at him. "I think we ran out of orange juice. Wait here, I’ll buy you so." Without waiting for an answer, she left the house.

Muchen sat there in shock. ’He is sick... why didn’t I know about this?’

Truthfully, he had been avoiding the younger man for a few days. That’s why he didn’t know this sooner.

’Fuck... the last ti I t him was three days ago... then he’s been sick for three days?!’

Muchen gazed up the stairs. ’Maybe I should go check on him...’
