Fortunately, the organization he managed was the foremost among the seven major organizations in M Country, and its influence in M Country was second only to that of the President.

In addition, with the assistance of Wu Xirui’s people, they would certainly be able to find Qiao Jing’s whereabouts even more quickly.

When mbers of another organization heard that they were to search for the Queen’s whereabouts, they imdiately beca tense and respectfully replied:

"Rest assured, I will send out all my brothers to search for the Queen."

The phone call was then disconnected.

anwhile, nightfall had already begun.

Inside the research facility of M Country.

Qiao Jing glanced at her phone screen, confirming that it was already evening, and began looking for an opportunity.

John and his people were unaware of how she had knocked those n out, so she still had the anesthetic spray in her possession.

Seizing the mont, she managed to create more of the anesthetic spray, with a higher potency.

A short while later, the two guards in the laboratory switched shifts with another two, and the person delivering the al also arrived.

Qiao Jing’s gaze fell on the two guards, and after a few seconds’ pause, she ca up with a plan.

After finishing her al, she raised her hand to cover her stomach, squeezing her beautiful brows tightly together.

One of the guards responsible for surveillance noticed Qiao Jing’s condition and hurried over.

"Professor Qiao, what’s wrong?"

Qiao Jing pursed her red lips and slowly began to speak:

"My stomach feels unwell, do you have any dicine here?"

She needed to find an excuse to send one of the guards away, as trying to knock out two people at the sa ti could lead to a mistake.

After all, she only had one anesthetic spray bottle and couldn’t knock out two people at the sa ti.

The guard imdiately nodded, took out his walkie-talkie and was about to make a call.

"Yes, please wait a mont, I’ll contact the dical staff."

Seeing that the guard didn’t plan to leave, Qiao Jing quickly stopped him, clutching her stomach tightly and pretending to be in urgent need.

"No need to contact anyone, you must bring the dicine right away. Waiting for you to finish the call will be too slow, go get it for ."

The guard hesitated, but seeing Qiao Jing’s urgent deanor, he had no choice but to stand up and walk outside.

Before leaving, he made a special point to instruct his colleague.

"Keep an eye on Professor Qiao, and if there’s any ergency, contact Mr. John imdiately!"

The other guard nodded and quickly approached Qiao Jing’s side.

Qiao Jing stood up and said she needed to use the bathroom before staggering into the restroom.

Once inside the restroom, she quickly entered several codes, installing Trojan programs on all the surveillance caras of the research facility, making the cara footage stick to the sa scene.

Luckily, these people were all stationed at various doors without moving around, and since they had just changed shifts, having the surveillance footage stuck on the scene where they were each standing guard didn’t seem too conspicuous.

Having dealt with the surveillance issue, Qiao Jing opened the bathroom door.

The only person tasked with guarding her in the laboratory was standing by the door, waiting for her to co out.

When the guard saw Qiao Jing co out, he asked:

"Professor Qiao, are you alright?"

Qiao Jing nodded lightly and, seizing a mont when the guard wasn’t paying attention, quickly pulled out the anesthetic spray from her pocket and sprayed it in the guard’s face.

Because the anesthetic spray Qiao Jing had made was more concentrated than before, the guard inhaled just a bit and imdiately passed out.

After seeing the guard collapse to the ground, Qiao Jing deftly changed into his uniform and quickly opened the laboratory door.

Perhaps because the guards outside were reassigned to the lab, Mr. John had withdrawn the exterior security, leaving only scattered sentries.

Qiao Jing pressed down the brim of her hat and curled her lips into a smirk, letting out a low, cold chuckle.

"Heh."

It seed Mr. John was still underestimating the situation, thinking that stationing people inside the lab was enough to contain her.

But this worked to her advantage, providing her the opportunity to escape.

Along the way, the guards, likely thinking the sa as Mr. John—that with two people in the lab, she definitely couldn’t escape—had let down their guard.

Qiao Jing couldn’t help but quicken her pace towards the exit.

On the other side, the guard sent to fetch dicine for Qiao Jing had arrived at the infirmary and recited a few drug nas.

At that mont, Frank was also in the infirmary, tending to a wound inflicted by Qiao Jing. Upon seeing the guard co in for the dicine, he recognized him instantly.

"Why aren’t you with Professor Qiao? Who is the dicine for?"

The guard took the dication from the dical staff and respectfully answered Frank’s question.

"Professor Qiao is feeling unwell; I ca to get her so dicine."

Hearing the guard’s response, Frank felt that sothing was amiss and frowned.

"Why didn’t you have dical personnel go to her?"

Caught off guard by the question, the guard hesitated but answered truthfully:

"Professor Qiao said that waiting for to finish the phone call would be too slow. She’s feeling very unwell and must take the dicine imdiately. Don’t worry, there is another person with Professor Qiao."

Frank’s suspicion deepened, and his frown intensified.

"Contact the other guard imdiately and ask about Professor Qiao’s current condition."

His intuition told him that Qiao Jing was likely trying to escape again.

The befuddled guard, while staring at Frank, still followed his instructions and tried to reach his colleague using the walkie-talkie.

After several attempts, he still couldn’t make contact.

Frank sensed sothing was gravely wrong and quickly pulled out his phone to call Mr. John.

"Mr. John! Professor Qiao might be trying to escape again! Please check the surveillance and share it with in real ti!"

Upon hearing Frank’s words, Mr. John imdiately turned on the monitors. The screens showed nothing unusual; Qiao Jing appeared to be sitting in the lab eating.

Worried that Frank’s warning might be true, he proceeded to check the hallway caras and found everything as normal as ever.

"Frank, Professor Qiao is eating in the lab. There’s no anomaly."

Frank was frowning at the surveillance screens, trying to detect any clues from the lab’s footage.

But the surveillance they were viewing was exactly what Qiao Jing wanted them to see, so naturally, they couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary.

Frank rubbed his chin thoughtfully, responding strangely.

"How could this be?"

The guard standing next to Frank, also focused on the phone screen, noticed sothing amiss and imdiately pointed it out.

"Boss! Sothing’s not right! George should be right with Professor Qiao, and I haven’t been gone long—I received a ssage that Professor Qiao was in the restroom, and plus, with her feeling unwell, she couldn’t possibly be eating so soon!"

At that, Frank realized that all of this was a ruse set up by Qiao Jing!

He quickly took out his walkie-talkie and also said to Mr. John:

"Professor Qiao has escaped again! The surveillance and everything must be a ruse set by Professor Qiao! Everyone start searching imdiately! Mr. John, please drop the ergency iron gates at the research facility!"

He had thought that Qiao Jing, having been captured just earlier that day, would lay low for a few days, or at least one day. In the end, she attempted to escape twice in a single day!

John’s heart skipped a beat. Although he was still trying to understand what was going on, to prevent Qiao Jing from escaping, he quickly activated the ergency iron gates!
