Chapter 596: Chapter 585: Qiao Jing Crossdresses Again
Zhan Nanqing slapped the sofa hard, grinding her teeth as she spoke:
“First, he put on a surprised look, saying how heartbroken he was to see my injured foot and wanted to take care of personally. That wasn’t enough—he imdiately put on a fake expression and, while talking, tried to lend a hand and escort to the research institute.”
When Qiao Jing heard that Zhou Yunze had tried to physically support Zhan Nanqing, she furrowed her brows tightly.

“Aren’t you annoying? Expecting to have one last al with you? I eat with you and then you’ll stop harassing ? I don’t buy your crap!!”
Qiao Jing pressed her lips together, quickly stepped beside Zhan Nanqing, and took the phone from her, lowering her voice by several tones.
“Mr. Zhou, I think I made myself very clear last ti. Please stop harassing Nanqing.”
Zhou Yunze didn’t expect the person on the line to suddenly change to Qiao Linting; he was stunned for a mont.
After recognizing the voice on the other end, he couldn’t help but feel a bit intimidated, rembering Qiao Linting’s oppressive aura and alarming gaze during their last negotiation.
But despite that, he couldn’t simply give up.
Zhou Yunze clenched his teeth and slowly began to speak.
“I know I just have sothing to discuss with Nanqing, I want to have one last al with her. After that, I won’t bother her again, I have so words I need to say to her.”

“What do you an ‘the last ti we et’? Qiao Jing, you didn’t agree to have a al with Zhou Yunze on my behalf, did you??”
Qiao Jing nodded and continued before Zhan Nanqing could speak:
“Yes, let’s see what he really wants to say.”
If Zhou Yunze was allowed to continue harassing her like this, it wasn’t a solution; the best course of action would be to clarify matters with him face-to-face.
She was soone who addressed issues efficiently, often resolving them in just one or two attempts, so today would be the last ti she would help Zhan Nanqing handle this, and they could put it behind them for good.
Zhan Nanqing huffed at the thought of Zhou Yunze’s face, becoming increasingly irritated.

“If you don’t have a al with him, he will keep pestering you. This is your chance to make things clear for the last ti.”
Zhan Nanqing irritably ruffled her hair, and suddenly rembered the last ti Qiao Jing dressed as a man.
