Chapter 283: Chapter 273: Su Manhan Runs Away from Ho
Zhan Qipei’s heart suddenly tightened as he fixed his deep gaze on Qiao Jing.
How could his wife use this to threaten Grandpa Zhan? No matter what, his wife could not divorce him!

Su Manhan kept on ranting.
“Let go! Why should I stay in the Zhan Family? You don’t trust , you let be wronged, what’s the use of being here, it’s better if…”
Zhan Nanqing felt overwheld by the commotion. Why was her mother so troubleso?
She interrupted Su Manhan from continuing the fuss and related the events at the hospital.
“Qiao Jing has already spoken to Grandpa Zhan over the phone. This matter has nothing to do with you; she said it was her own health issue. Grandpa Zhan has also relented and said you don’t need to apologize.”
The mont she uttered these words!
The living room went silent.
Su Manhan was stunned and montarily forgot to struggle with Zhan Yao for the suitcase. The words she was about to say were swallowed back down.

“Who asked her to plead for ?”
Su Manhan let go of the suitcase she had been holding and walked over to the couch, slumping down onto it.
Seeing that she had finally stopped making a fuss, Zhan Yao dragged the suitcase back to his room, to prevent her from suddenly wanting to play the run away from ho drama again.
Su Manhan sat on the couch, talking to herself.
“Why would she speak well of ? Who is she trying to impress?”
She suddenly thought of sothing and looked at Zhan Nanqing. Her daughter looked as though she had been conquered by Qiao Jing, which made her suspicious.
Could it be that Qiao Jing is so scheming that she’s trying to win over by hook or by crook, to make accept her? She saw that even Zhan Yao might be accepting Qiao Jing!
In the past, when she spoke ill of Qiao Jing, he didn’t say much, but now, when she spoke badly of her, he would even defend Qiao Jing.
As for her stepson, he had been conquered by Qiao Jing long ago, always protecting her and following her around, utterly disregarding his mother’s words!

She switched to the private chat page with Lou Xinrou and sent her a ssage.
“Xinrou, Qiao Jing actually spoke up for in front of the old man. What do you make of that? Do you think she really ant to help ?”
Su Manhan didn’t ntion the entire incident, only speaking vaguely.
When Lou Xinrou read the ssage, she felt a twinge of alarm. Was Aunt Su moved by Qiao Jing’s actions?

She imdiately started crafting a reply, putting a negative spin on everything.

“I think she just wants to win your favor, to get you to accept her, so she pretentiously spoke for you in front of Grandpa Zhan. Rember when I took that photo? She actually kicked out. How could she be so kindhearted?”
Su Manhan read Lou Xinrou’s reply several tis over and responded.
“Grandpa Zhan was very angry about this matter. If she hadn’t spoken up for , she could have gotten her wish of making apologize to her. But she gave up my apology to gain my favor?”
Lou Xinrou frowned and mulled over how to respond, eventually coming up with a good excuse.
“Aunt Su, which is more important to you, apologizing or staying in the Zhan Family for a lifeti? Of course, it’s more important to stay in the Zhan Family.”
