Sir Orion leaned back on the desk, his posture relaxed, his dark eyes glinting with a playful intensity. "I find it most fascinating," he said, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, the words brimming with enthusiasm.

The blue light cast soft shadows across his face, giving him an almost magical air, and Alex felt a shiver of excitent,

His powers, his potential, they were out in the open now, at least in this room, and Sir Orion’s fascination felt like a door swinging wide, inviting him to step through.

Alex let out a quiet sigh of relief, his shoulders loosening as he processed Sir Orion’s words.

The guy knew about his powers—all of them, and didn’t seem thrown off. It was... a lot to take in, but it ant he didn’t have to hide, at least not here.

The cozy room, with its single blue light casting a soft, cerulean glow, felt oddly calming despite its quirks, the faint scent of cedar and honey settling in the air like a subtle invitation to stay.

His red eyes flicked to Sir Orion, who was watching him with a warm, steady gaze, and Alex felt a cautious curiosity settle in his chest, like he was stepping into sothing new but wasn’t quite sure what to make of it.

Sir Orion’s lips curved into a small smile, his dark eyes catching the blue light. "Yes, we’ll have lessons for each of your abilities," he said, his voice smooth and reassuring, with a hint of playfulness that made the words feel less like a lecture and more like a promise.

"We’ve got work to do, but we’ll get there."

Alex nodded, his fingers tapping lightly on the armrests of the cushioned chair.

Lessons for all his powers sounded intense, but it was what he’d signed up for, right?

The idea of finally getting so control was appealing, even if it ca with a side of nerves.

He shifted, the chair creaking softly under him, his sneakers brushing the polished floor as he waited for what ca next.

Sir Orion slid off the desk with a fluid motion, his posture relaxed but purposeful. "Ti to begin, then—without further ado," he said, his tone light but focused, like he was ready to dive in.

With a casual flick of his wrist, five tal balls,

each about the size of a marble, their silver surfaces glinting in the blue light, floated up from the desk, hovering in a neat row between them.

They drifted slightly, as if swaying in an unseen breeze, and Alex’s eyes narrowed, his mind already turning over what this ant.

"Pick up only one of the balls," Sir Orion instructed, his voice calm and even, his gaze fixed on Alex with quiet expectation. "Just one. Show what you can do."

Alex gave a small nod, his heart picking up a steady rhythm.

He stared at the balls, their surfaces shimring faintly, and a soft chi echoed in his mind, followed by a glowing notification:

.

Alright, one ball. Simple enough. Alex took a slow breath, his red eyes locking onto the second ball from the left, picturing it rising.

His telekinesis stirred, a warm, tingling sensation that flowed from his mind, but when he reached out ntally, two balls shot upward, wobbling like they were arguing with each other.

Alex’s brows furrowed, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face as he tried to rein it in, but the balls just hovered there, stubborn.

Sir Orion let out a soft chuckle, the sound warm and unbothered. "That’s not bad," he said, leaning back against the desk, his arms crossed loosely. "I half-expected you to grab all five. You’ve got a lot of raw power, Alex,

more than you realize."

Alex’s lips twitched, not quite a smile, but he appreciated the lack of judgnt. Not bad?

He’d ssed up, but Sir Orion’s calm reaction made it feel like a step, not a failure. "Why’s it so hard to just pick one?" he asked, his voice steady, curious more than frustrated. "It’s like my power’s all over the place."

Sir Orion’s eyes glinted with a hint of amusent. "You haven’t learned to visualize it properly," he explained, his tone patient, like he was laying out a map for Alex to follow.

"Right now, you’re tossing your telekinesis out like a blanket, catching everything. Try this: imagine tendrils wafting from your head, like thin, invisible threads. Use one tendril to snag just one ball. See it in your mind."

Alex tilted his head, the idea sinking in. Tendrils? It was a weird way to think about it, but it made sense, like giving his power a shape.

"Okay," he said, his voice even, his red eyes focusing on the balls again.

He took a breath, picturing delicate threads curling from his mind, each one precise.

He aid a single tendril at the second ball, imagining it wrapping around the tal, lifting it gently.

His telekinesis humd, a steady pulse, and this ti, only one ball rose, floating smoothly above the others.

Alex’s chest loosened, a quiet satisfaction settling in, though he kept his expression neutral.

"Good," Sir Orion said, his voice carrying a note of approval, his smile small but genuine.

The blue light softened his features, making the room feel a little less strange, a little more like a place where Alex could actually learn. "You’re starting to get the hang of it. Now, pick up three balls, only three."

Alex nodded, his focus sharpening, the challenge pulling him in. Three balls ant more control, more precision.

He pictured three tendrils again, targeting the first, third, and fifth balls. His telekinesis surged, a stronger pulse this ti, and he felt a tug, like his mind was stretching.

Sweat prickled his forehead, his breaths shallow, but the three balls lifted, wobbling slightly before steadying.

"Okay," he muttered, his voice tight, holding them there through sheer focus.

Sir Orion gave a single nod, his expression pleased. "Very well done, Alex," he said, his tone warm but professional. "Now, let’s push it further. Pick the first, second, and fourth balls. Only those three. Go."
