Nine plus in the morning.
A breakfast stall in the County town center.
Dong Xuebing and Xu Yan got out of the car and ordered two buns and two bowls of Wantons from a roadside breakfast stall. He helped her fill a small plate of vinegar and chili.
“Sis, please eat.”
“Ok. I can do it myself.”
“No. Let do it. Do you want lesser chili?”
“Yes.”
“Let mix it for you. Alright. It’s ready.”
Dong Xuebing grabbed a bun after Xu Yan started eating. He continued to observe her and helped her with anything she needed. He had to please her after what happened. Although she said she did not mind, he could not get past himself. He does not want what happened last night to affect his relationship with her.
After breakfast.
Both returned to the Audi.

“I will cut down on drinking next ti.”

“Luckily, it was ?” Dong Xuebing felt honored to hear this.
Xu Yan glanced at him. “I an, we know each other well and are close. I know you will not tell others or do anything to harm , like secretly recording us. Anyway, such incidents are common nowadays, and I will worry if it is soone else. That’s why I said, luckily, it was you.”

Sister Xu’s trust touched Dong Xuebing.
“Alright.” Xu Yan laughed and shook her head. “We agreed not to bring up yesterday’s incident. Why are we talking about it again?” She moved her legs and touched the vomit stains on her clothes. “Are you staying alone in the hotel?”
“Yes. I got a room by myself.”
“Do you mind if I take a shower in your room? I sll bad.” Xu Yan added. “I am not saying you are dirty. I need to wash my clothes, and it’s not worth booking a room. Is it convenient for to use your room?”
“Of course.” Dong Xuebing cleared his throat. “Just continue straight along this road. The hotel is located at the end of the road.”
