He was not injured and had done this to blackmail and fra Director Dong. Guang Ming Subdistrict Office’s staff are united after Dong Xuebing was appointed. It is because of his achievents, and many staff is mad when they hear the latest news. Damn! Even if you are the Organization Departnt Chief, you cannot do what you want. Do you think Guang Ming Subdistrict Office is a pushover, and you can fra whoever you want?!

Dong Xuebing looks up. “Co in.”
Zhou Yanru and Qu Yiqiang entered the office. “Director, did Xue Xiaoliang really fake his injuries?” They had received news of what happened at the hospital.

Dong Xuebing asked with a straight face. “Has Guo Mingfeng co to work?”
“He had co back at noon for a while and left.” Zhou Yanru’s face changed. “I t him at the cafeteria during lunch.”
Qu Yiqiang glanced at Zhou Yanru and turned to Dong Xuebing. He laughed. “Our Director Zhou is courageous. She saw Guo Mingfeng and scolded him in front of everyone. Even Secretary Geng had to step in.”
Qu Yiqiang had no ill intentions when he said this. He knows Zhou Yanru could not tell Dong Xuebing what she did and said it for her.
Zhou Yanru is slightly embarrassed. “I was too angry and could not hold back. Director, what I did will have a negative impact. I request for punishnt.” Dong Xuebing knows Zhou Yanru is not an impulsive person like him. She is trying to show her loyalty to him by scolding Guo Mingfeng in public. Dong Xuebing did not scold Zhou Yanru. “You are right to scold Guo Mingfeng. His action and thinking are a serious problem.”
Qu Yiqiang also felt Guo Mingfeng had crossed the line. “What did the Police say about this incident?”
“I had asked the Police to investigate this incident.” Dong Xuebing looks at them. “Does Guo Mingfeng have any disciplinary issues or problems?”
Qu Yiqiang shook his head. “Deputy Director Guo has been in the Governnt Service for quite so ti, and he is very careful with his lifestyle. We had not received any complaints against him.” He chose to use the word, ‘careful’ because no one has found any evidence of his wrongdoings. He knows Dong Xuebing is going to take revenge, and he is saying it is impossible to take Guo Mingfeng down using the Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Both of them left Dong Xuebing’s office after a while.
Dong Xuebing thought about the ways to deal with Guo Mingfeng. He cannot take him down with the regulations and wonders if he can transfer him away through the Organization Departnt.
As Dong Xuebing is thinking about his revenge, Work Party Deputy Secretary Geng Xinke knocked on the door and entered.
“Secretary Geng?” Dong Xuebing looks at him. “Have a seat.”
Geng Xinke is looking terrible. “Work Party Office Departnt’s Director Zhou had scolded Director Guo this afternoon. She does not have the correct mindset of a Civil Servant, and this incident had a negative impact. This is a serious issue, and such incidents must be stopped. I suggest reprimanding Zhou Yanru.”
Dong Xuebing laughed. “Correct mindset? I think we should doubt Deputy Director Guo’s mindset.”
Geng Xinke pretends not to know anything. “What do you an?”
“Don’t tell that you are not aware of him giving false statents to the Police?”
“False statent? I don’t know anything about this.” Geng Xinke asked. “Is it regarding last night’s incident? Didn’t the Police have investigated this incident, and Director Guo was only passing by that area?”
Dong Xuebing does not like to speak with Geng Xinke, and he suspects the latter was here to mock him. He might even be the one who asked Guo Mingfeng to give that false statent. Dong Xuebing imdiately knows his plan to transfer Guo Mingfeng away will not work as Geng Xinke will not allow anyone to touch his n. Even if he submit the transfer application to the District Organization Party, Xue Qingrong and Mayor Geng will not approve it.

Dong Xuebing took out his phone and called Guo Mingfeng. He wants to know if he was forced to give the false statent or did it himself.

Guo Mingfeng answered the call unwillingly after a while. “Hello, Director Dong.”

Guo Mingfeng paused for a second. He is afraid Dong Xuebing might record their conversation and stick to his statent to the Police. “Thank you for your concern. I am feeling much better. It was just a slight knock when I was opening the door.”
Dong Xuebing let out a cold laughter. “Slight knock when you were opening the door?”
“Yes.”
“Deputy Director Guo, do you think this is the right thing to do?”
Guo Mingfeng replied. “What do you an? I don’t get it.”
Dong Xuebing continued. “I want you to tell your account of what happened last night.”
“About the assault incident?” Guo Mingfeng was more suspicious of Dong Xuebing recording their conversation, and he replied without thinking. “I was passing that area and saw you and Xue Xiaoliang in a heated argunt. After that, you attacked him.”
Dong Xuebing laughed. “Are you serious?”
“That’s what I saw.”
“Then who is the person I saved from Xue Xiaoliang’s baton?”
“You saved soone? I did not see anyone else. You might be drunk and rembered wrongly.”
Do you still want to insist I was drunk?!
