Dong Xuebing checked the ti and arrived 5 minutes before the eting. He almost choked on cigarette smoke when he opened the door. He is a smoker, but the smoke in the eting room is too thick. Dong Xuebing smiled and shook his hand. “Nice to et you, Mayor Ci.”
Ci Boyang smiled. “The eting is about to start. Let’s chat over dinner and drinks.”
“Sure.” Dong Xuebing replied.
Another person walked over. “Mayor Dong, I am Lui Zhi.”
Dong Xuebing shook his hand. “Nice to et you, Mayor Lui.” He heard about Deputy Mayor Lui Zhi but didn’t know which departnt he oversees.
This was Dong Xuebing’s first eting in Zhen Shui County, and everyone at the eting introduced themselves.
A few minutes later.
High heels footsteps got nearer to the eting room.
The eting room quieted, and everyone returned to their seats and snubbed their cigarettes.
Dong Xuebing saw the seat beside the head of the table was empty and knew it should be his. He quickly walked over.
The next mont, Jiang Fangfang appeared in the eting room.
She walked into the room slowly and looked at everyone. “Let’s start.”
Everyone sat upright.
Even Ci Boyang sat upright and waited for Mayor Jiang to speak. Although he is on Secretary ng’s side, Jiang Fangfang is still the County Governnt’s head. He dared not fall out with her and got to respect her.
